Lost Spirit May Hi every one I am willing to answer any questions fellow christians have about our faith or advice and I am sure the other christians here will as well. If you are not a christian do not post!! No flamming of our religion! No spamming thank you! If you do the post will be deleted! I'm not sure about excluding all but Christians is a good idea, but I do see why you did it. It will most likely bring more of a community feel to the Christians that post here but in the eyes of others I believe it will be seen as a negative thing. Anyway, those are just my thoughts on the matter.

I personally think this is a great idea. Currently, most of conversations that I've had in the existing Christianity forum were with non-Christians. It'd be nice to have a place to talk with only other Christians. I think you should just add something at the top to say that if you are not Christian, they can comment in the other forum. You know, something like, "It's not that we don't want to talk to you, this just isn't the place for that." It'll make people feel less excluded, you know?

There are other threads here where non-christians can post in to engage us, (As much as I have grown weary of dealing with some of them) But a place just for us I think is nice, We aren't doing this to disrespect, but just to have a place/thread to call our own.

eek wow biggrin i am glad everyone cares and we are not alone and here to support each other exclaim question sweatdrop but isn't not allowing non christians to post sort of missing the hole point of going out and making desiple of all nations thing i mean Jesus Christ didn't assocate with those who were covered he went into the darkness or with the sick or those who needed him. He spent time with whores, tax colectors, liers, cheeters, athiests, etc. mrgreen shouldn't we do the same by shareing what we believe and answering genuen questions? just a thought at least allow them to post here.

Nokturnal Evisceration Im not an atheist, but can I get the exact bible text that says that hell is a burning brimstone inferno with devils and such? Well, in Revelation, it's described as a "lake of fire". Does that count? Here are the verses: "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." -Revelation 20:10 "Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." -Revelation 20: 14-15

People offering good points and asking Christians to prove them wrong with words from the bible, are not allowed to post in here. I guess Logical thinking and common sense isn't welcome in a world of people who blindly follow text from an unknown source. Honestly, they're too far brainwashed to make them see logic. You're better off trying to keep children from being corrupted from their txts

Christmas just HAPPENS to fall at the time of Yule, Easter just HAPPENS to be the same day as the Day of Rebirth for wiccans (ever wonder where the eggs in easter came from? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't a christian tradition =P it was wiccan) And what I find REALLY funny is that Christians are told to not talk to spirits, ne? Well, over half the Christians put a jack o lantern out on halloween. Without knowing what it's for. And dress up for halloween without knowing why lol. From the wiccan belief of "Samhain", and the Pagen belief of "All Hallow's Eve", we get Halloween. The wiccans and a few other Pagen religions believed that halloween was the day that the "portal" so to speak between the human world and the spirit world was open. The witches would dress up in their witches garb to let spirits know they were witches. And what they would do is have a feast. You see, Halloween was a celebration. They would prepare a whole bunch of food (and a plate full of food for the spirits). The pumpkin would be carved out and a light put inside and this was a sign to the spirits to let them know where they were welcome on Halloween. So, technically, when Christians put out a lit Jack O' Lantern, they're beckoning spirits TO their house LOL oh the irony XD

It's red AND italicised =) I do not hate Chrsitains. And I do not hate the Chrsitain religion, please do not misconstrew my words. I merely hate ignorance and intolerance. A LOT of Chrsitians I know are very anti-other beliefs, so much so that they literally stick their fingers in their ears and go "LALALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU!" like a child. I am only spiteful towards people who ignore the posibilities of other beliefs here. Yes, you're right, I do disagree with you. But don't misconstrew that with me disagreeing in your teachings. I love the bible's teachings as far as "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", or "Thou shalt not murder." However, I don't need a book to tell me that it is wrong to hurt people. Just as I do not believe that all parents deserve to be honored just because they are parents.
