What do you guys nickname your pokemon? POST ITTTT.
Some most of mine aren't very creative...
Weavile: Haku (After that one Ice-Tranny from Naruto.)
Gengar: Boo (Super mario)
Starmie: Franky (One Piece)
Heatran: Cookies (It just fit? o_o)
Blissey: Eggy (She's a pink walking egg)
Gliscor: Fangs (He has them)
Yanmega: Mega (I know... u_u)
Mamoswine: Mamo (I KNOW. DX)
Lucario: Lulu (Hehe... I think it's cute).
Electivire: Ozymandias (Lol from Watchmen)
Porygon-Z: Rorshach (Also from Watchmen)
Empoleon: Empopo, or Mr. Popo
Blastoise: Turtley
I need help naming:

Venusaur
Yanmega
Typhlosion

I'd list all of them, but I don't think there's enough characters for it.
Hikari (Groudon), Terrance & Tori (Blaziken), DarkKnight (Umbreon), YellowRide (Raikou), SunGuardin [ran out of spaces] (Espeon), Janet & Fang (Crobat), Wendy & Summer (Peliper), GoldenBlue aka Blue (Mightyena Shiny), Nightmare (male shiny crobat, LOL), someone named a riolu for me Lance and he's now a Lucario. >w<, Flametail & Celine (Chimchar fully ev & chimchar), Lucy (Happiny), Jenna (Luxray, based off my lion netnavi oc), Moku [Tree starter idfk atm]

I normally don't nickname pokemon, but I have a few.
Umbreon: Umbra (I know, I'd rather have Atrum)
Meganium: Midori (Again, I know little originality, but I like it)
Charizard: Akai
Blastoise: Blaster (Again, I know T^T Gosh, I'm worse at this than you are XD)
Gyarados: Fantasmic (I was thinking of that show down in Disney World at the time...)
Pidgeot: Ventus
All I got for now...

I nickname a bunch of my pokemon... I usualy always have these, or try to if I can help it:
Pikachu: Flow if female, Xialle if male.
Sneasel: Kakera or Kurai
Roselia: Shizuka
Mew: Ichigo
Salamance: Nemalas
Ariados: Arianna
And the rest are just random names that I make up out of bordom or are various Japanese words...

I never really named mine, want to though. Especially when I work out a new team. The only one I know off the top of my head is 'Shiny' my first one I ever found. Its a Beaver

I'M NOT ALONE! 8D Like, the only time I don't name a Pokemon is if I'm getting a hoard from a friend and it's more important to just transfer than name them, and/or I don't really plan on using it for nothing else other than Pokedex filling. But I usually try to nickname them.

As far as my naming goes though, I only started doing it with Platinum. Let's see... my Platinum game has a star theme going because I'm a huge astronomy buff. My team: MILOTIC -> Rigel TORTERRA -> Regulus HOUNDOOM -> Altair ALTARIA -> Canopus GALLADE -> Antares AMPHAROS -> Mimosa Legendaries: ARTICUNO -> Alcyone ZAPDOS -> Electra (LOL SO CREATIVE AMIRITE) MOLTRES -> Minelava UXIE -> Naos MESPRIT -> Ankaa AZELF -> Caph DIALGA -> Castor PALKIA -> Pollux HEATRAN -> Betelgeuse REGIGIGAS -> Celaeno GIRATINA -> Sirius CRESSELIA -> Denebola DARKRAI -> Arcturus And then a few other 'mons sitting in my box (lmao I haven't really caught much on this game): SHINX -> Aldebaran BUNEARY -> Alioth ROTOM -> Polaris MACHOP (shiny!) -> Achernar EEVEE -> Sargas PORYGON -> Navi I've also gone pretty nickname-crazy on my GPX+ account, too. B| Most normal 'mons are named for spices, and my legendaries for Greek gods. There are a few special cases in which I had a small army of kitties that were named for gemstones, huurrr.

I only have two named on my Pearl version.
Drifblim - Prizpak (It means spectre in Russian)
Beautifly - Chou San (Madame Butterfly in Japanese)
But I have to say this. If you guys ever go to offer something on the GTS....give it it's original name, please! I put up a Shiny Alakazam asking for a Feebas, female. I got the Feebas, a female, named Jim. v_v
