one of his most vital mistakes is that he only used heart attacks,he should of used different things that would happen daily,then people would die and they would think that they just died in an accident,not by kiras hand

After L died he should not have took over as L and let someone else do it cuz Near kinda know it was the new L that was kira so maybe he would not have died.

darker than nite one of his most vital mistakes is that he only used heart attacks,he should of used different things that would happen daily,then people would die and they would think that they just died in an accident,not by kiras hand He knew this and intentionally only used heart attacks so that the public WOULD know it was Kira passing judgment, and so people would stop commiting crimes for fear of judgment.

i know what u mean,i forgot about that.but im sure there were multiple ways 2 send the message 2 criminals.

If only you knew... i think the biggest mistake was he didnt Mikami to check the death note he was using an hour before to see if it had swapped before he tried to kill Near and the others. If he had done that then, Light may have won. How painful this is going to be....

If he had done that then, Light may have won. How painful this is going to be.... She's right,Mikami's the one at fault!

i think he was too confident and didnt think everything through perfectly.
he should have had misa join the task force and have the death note with her so that when they went to kill nate rivers she could do it.

also if he told mikami to write down his name as well but spell it wrong by one letter he would have been able to walk away un hurt and then have misa kill him

I just watched the series again and i did find some more flaws.
1.'Ive already stated, Light should have made Mikami check 30 mins ahead of killing Near and the others so he wouldnt have written in the fake note book.
2. When infertrating Mello's hideout, Light should have installed cameras on the police officers helments so even if Lights dad didnt kill Mello light or Misa could have therefor Takada would have not been writen in the death Note Mikami was using.
3. Light should have chosen someone else instead of Mikami. He should have chosen someone who keeps themselves away from the outside world. So no one could ever suspect them.
4. Mikami should have kept a peice of the DN hidden away for when he was to kill Near and the others, Light should ave told him to out a special mark on it so he could then use Takada to talk to Mikami when and where to use the DN paper.
5.Light should have written down all his Team members names seeing as they wouldnt be hard to find as light can hack into his dad's computer and controlled them to shot Near and his team members as soon as they saw them in the warehouse then shot themselves, so light would have been alive.
But im not sure you can control people to kill others s no. 5 isnt valid if that rule exists.
