They've gone over the rings, tweaked them and altered them, some more than others. Rage now gives added effects to a ring, ring set bonuses have been altered, and the armor system has gotten an overhaul. Check out this thread for all the details! The new ring sets are going to take some getting used. If you used one prior to the update you'll definitely need to look at the updated info to see if the rings for your set have changed.
Example!
Old Pirate Set = Hack, Slash, Shark Attack, Keen Eye
New Pirate Set = Slash, Shark Attack, Quicksand, Keen Eye

And thanks for the heads up bout the Ring Sets i'd of totally forgotten i dint use them all tha much but i did from time to time

I like being able to up my rage meter quickly by giving random people Keen Eye or Ghost. xd On the other hand, the new ring sets, particularly the ninja one, is horrible for me. The lack of an area effect attack is crippling.

Argh, they yanked the original thread containing the various tweaks made to the rings. The info should be listed in the help menu of the zOMG game itself though. Still, annoying! Also! A bunch of a non-ring updates are slated to implemented this weekend.. MAINTENANCE WINDOW! (10/22/09, 9:30 - 11:30am PDT) has all the info, but things they'll be busting out include VOIP for crews (complete with GC buyable voice modifcations), a new chat panel, new crew list and more.
