there was a kid who brought a death note book to school and wrote a lot of peoples names in there,and they suspended him and thought he was a homicidal maniac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stressed scream

It's because they didn't bother to look it up and find out what it was, they assumed it was a hitlist.

If you look up information about deathnote banning, you'll see its much more than that. For example, its banned in all of China.

i own a death note and have taken it to school and wrote teachers and other students names in it , mind you this in a catholic school. anyways, i never got caught for it hehehe

Miyuki Sakai i own a death note and have taken it to school and wrote teachers and other students names in it , mind you this in a catholic school. anyways, i never got caught for it hehehe People only really get caught if they're stupid and start showing off/bragging. My friend had on at school and wrote a bunch of names (including mine) a teacher saw him showing it to another student and had it taken. Nothing ever really followed it.

THAT WAS A WASTE OF TEN MINUTES. It's OK, as long as it's not illegal in your country. And ten minutes? How did you make two DeathNotes in 10 minutes? I'm looking to make one myself and would appreciate tips.

my sister brought a sister and was caught. she had a black notebook and wrote death note the exact way it looked! someone snobby barbie caught her and told a teacher and she just erased what it said on the cover so all was well for her. muahahahahahaha i really want a death note  ^ he would even cross dress to get his hands on an apple *shakes head*

teehee I bring my deathnote to school all the time and never get caught, I've written so many names in it Im almost to the last page of mine =) God I love America, and is deathnote really banned in some countries?
