I warn you, this is just a summary. I may post more if I get enough people telling me I should post a short version of the novel so far (I am not going to post the 136 pages I have written out so far, sorry).



The Beginning:
A journalist for a Miami newspaper is sent on a mission that has been walked thirteen years ago by her editor-in-chief. She is handed interrogation tapes and articles already written about this particular murderer who currently resides in New River C.I. in Raiford, Florida. She has an interview with an old high school friend of his before she meets him face to face separated by a pane of glass not even half an inch thick. He refuses to talk to her, making her job very difficult. This is when she decides that it is not in the case that she has a story, but in the aftermath.


The Middle:
She turns the story into what has happened to him since, and what he is like as a person. Understand this reporter is very liberal as far as her views go (for those of you young ones who don't know the difference between a liberal and a conservative, liberals are very humanitarian, thus she is going to appeal to the human side of him). She books several more visits with him, and eventually tries to get one without the glass, confident that he is just bored with her, and not going to attack. She is VERY wrong. He lashes out at her half way through, cutting her along her jaw. This does not stop her, just makes her more determined. She as a very stupid liberal, yes.


The End:
Nope, not going to tell you. It's not decided yet.

First of all, I am so freaking intrigued it isn't even funny. But I will also say that it is absolutely impossibly unfair of you to hand us this little cookie crumble and tell us we can't have the whole damn thing!
