So lol this is going to be another text wall, but I'll color code stuff later so you only have to read what you need for your job

This is training lol, you don't all have to be here at the same time for this like you will for the auction.
So basically this is like a fake auction run, and I'll guide you in your job/ give you some tips.
The thread would have been set up, and there'd be little profiles for each NPC being auctioned off on the front. There'd be posts to record the bids and there'd be a LIST of an order the NPCs would be auctioned off in.
This list would be determined by when you can come on, (so you don't have to stay the whole time) and by which NPCs I would guess would be the most popular those go at the end.
Each auction lasts 15 minutes with an antibid sniping rule.
Which means the auction extends at the last minute if we have a last minute bid...
So count on them being about 20 minutes.
Then we'd have a 5-10 minute break inbetween them.
so like 200 minutes estimated or 3 hours..
I will ask you to suggest if we should start at 6:30 instead of 7pm.
this is why I capped the amount of NPC and why we should start around it usually lasts a long time lol. if possible, we should try to be most organized so the wait between the auctions is faster.
whatever NPC goes first usually ends up being the lowest just because the bidders are figuring out what's going on because none of them ever saw such an auction. To make it fair, someone's mule will probably go first and be a martyr lol. (probably Nim's)
The editor will edit the header of the thread with the high bid and the bid history on the front, as well as keep track of trades coming to our guild mule and info dumping the profile of which NPC is up next.
I will collect info from you all for this profile later (the runner was supposed to do it but we didn't have a runner sign up)
The Editor will be Angela for the first bit and then chee.
Ok so when your NPCs FIANLLY go up, there'll be an auctioneer to steer the fun of the auction, chances are it'll be me, but I will alternate with Kuro on some of them.
Auctioneer talks in two colors, one for the in character, one for personal convo. Auctioneer will suggest things to you NPC to do in order to stirr up the bids (like stripping for example)
and what you NPCs do, is just talk, change your avi, offer your art or whatever you like as your bid increases. You definitely should post a lot to give people a reason to want to buy the chance to hang with you for 2 hours.
When someone wins you, then you should pm them or contact via thread or whatever a time to hang out with them. Do this immediately, and make sure you do your two hours.
They'll send their trade to the mule right after they win, so do make sure you hang with them.
Then the next person will go, ect... I'll be last on the list probably, since it's easier for me to organize it all that way.

Pretty straight forward.
Auctioneer:
Make sure you be clear on what is the current bid. Also make sure people bids are more than the last bid. If someone doesn't have a bid that's obviously more, apologize and say the bid isn't high enough to override the previous.
If the auction goes silent, say something like "Hey Moira, I always wondered what kind of bikinis goths wear!" Or something bizzare and "WOAH" like...
The NPC should take this as a cue to strip or flirt or something.
If anything gets slow, you have to spice it up.
Be crazy it's good.
NPC:
You should ignore mostly everything else but the people talking to you. Convince them to bid on you, but not in a noob greedy way (unless you're Nicu, that actually works for him)
Be outgoing, tell them about you but don't rant.
They will play flirt with you( chances are it'll be your friends bidding anyway so don't worry) so just be yourself but don't go shy lol.
You don't HAVE to strip, but it's funny as hell... especially if you strip a little at a time. (it's only changing your avi come on!)
the auctioneer will suggest a good time for it.
You can converse or prank with the auctioneer too if it is entertaining.
You want to amuse the people bidding on you so much that they'll bid to get to the next shocking thing you're planning.
do not offer art untill your bid is towards the end of it's time limit--don't make your auction be an art auction. And you don't have to offer art if you don't want to.
Don't feel bad if you get a low bid--it happens. Not because nobody likes you, but maybe just because the people who'd bid on you blew all their gold before you came up, or because the thread was just slow at the time.
don't get offended if it happens, luck is involved partially.
You'll see me bid on people, I DO want to win, but I also do it to keep the auction alive and drive up the bid. I only suggest doing this if you want to win also, but be prepared in case you do win.
If someone you hate is bidding on you, tell me or someone else and we'll try to out bid them for you.
Don't do anything you're not comfy with, but do try to do what they ask you to do.
If you don't hang out with them, I'll be very annoyed at you--that's scamming.
BE ON TIME for your auction.
If you go missing, we'll have to either cut you or dress up a mule like you and improvise or something stupid. If you can't come, tell us before please.
And once again, don't scam whoever buys you.
Advertizer:
Just link banner exchange with whoever people you know, and maybe chat some in the NPC fan threads, no biggie... maybe bump our auction thread too when you can.

I may be a hardcore chick but hey, I'm just a nice girl at heart. wink
I like simple trips to the fair, riding the Ferris wheel with a hot date. Or hanging out at the Durem cemetery can be fun too--if you can keep the vampires away.
But if we're feeling daring, we can always head out somewhere in Gaia and beat up animated. I'm always up for Shallow Sea runs or playing in the Hive.
Or just chilling in Gaia forums.

Shallow Seas is pretty romantic if you don't mind brain clams and sea spouts but hey, if I'm with the right guy, killing a few sea spouts can really set the mood. XD
Talents--well, you know I've got my band. It's a little known fact that I also like to draw sometimes. RPing, playing zOMG and generally just hanging out can be talents too, right?
As for any 'special talents?' Heh.
Wouldn't you like to know? wink
((This is where I'd probably start changing my avi and 'stripping' to incite hilarity. But honestly, I don't think anyone is reading this now so the effect would probably be lost on everyone...))
