What is your weapon of choice when combating tentacles?

lightsaber...any laser or light based weapon. it does damage and then caturizes but isn't as out of control as fire. that way it prevents most regeneration and makes less mess. my ocd stressed doesn't handle well the mess most tentacle battles produce. however with something like that in my hand i'll have next to no twitches. biggrin

For tentacles that you do not want around (spiked ones, ones that intend to eat you, etc.) you are best off with a type of poison specific to the species (plants, mollusks, or whatever you can think of). This will ensure that the extremities will weaken and die without too much of a mess.
Though never abuse the friendly tentacles. 3nodding Buy them dinner, introduce them to your girl.

I guess... an axe of some sorts? I haven't ever really thought about it. I always try to side with the tentacles. Regardless of my weapon I'd probably be outnumbered by them anyways.
Maybe lots of grease for the grabbier ones, though I doubt it would work for the smashy kind of tentacles.

I'd prefer my own two hands. I'm not a weak person and I'm confident! But if the tentacles do overpower me (and I'm sure they will) then I don't want them to be bleeding all over me. heart
