This is the home of the Ushio family. The home is hidden deep within the forests of the mist, said to be one of the largest yet hardest areas to find. The area itself is three acres in diameter, however the main house is where Luo the new head of the clan resides with his ailing grandfather, and his retired father. The compound is complete with an indoor dojo, an outdoor training area, and a garden in the back courtyard. The main house also includes an extensive jutsu library. Scrolls every head of the clan has ever collected during their time as a shinobi. This is where Luo comes to train in peace amongst those he trusts. The Ushio family is very protective of who enters their compound, so your business must always be stated to the men at the gates unless you incite an alarm and the family attacks.

As his mist body collected through the library window and into the library itself, Luo sighed pushing on the crane lacquered tile on the edge of the bookcase, causing a sliding mechanism in the wall to unlock and slide up, revealing an old scroll. Carefully removing it with both hands, Luo set it on the library table and sat waiting for Zane to arrive. This would revolutionize the mist village as they knew it.

Zane materialized at the gates as the men stood on guard not knowing who this new person would turn out to be. As they stood guard, Zane held his palm out and smiled as the guards stood back realizing that it was their kage and Luo's best friend Zane. "Hey guys, been a while, good to see you're still as vigilent as ever," Zane laughed as he stepped through the gates and sped his way to the house. He walked inside as Luo's father let him in, giving him a friendly hug in the process. "So Luo's in the library?" Zane said as he was directed to where Luo was. "Hey buddy...so what's going on?" Zane asked him curiously as he folded his hand and stood at the doorframe of the library.

Motioning for his friend to close the door, Luo stood up. "For one whole year, I trained alone in secluded areas of the mist. In that time, I gained the title of water sage. I am able to perform up to chuunin level water jutsu without seals or calls. A gift of strict meditation with the shark summons themselves. But that is not why I called you. In this time of training, I came across a cavern behind a well hidden waterfall oasis. The sharks called it the veil of mists secrets. Out of curiosity, how long in your expert opinion has the scroll of the silent blade style been missing?"

Zane closed door as he placed his hand on it, the temperature in the room started decreasing as his hand emanated a light blue aura. The entire walls of the library were being coated in a very thick sheet of ice, impenetrable unless by a high ranked ninjutsu and unable to listen through. "The scroll has been missing since before my two predecessor, over a hundred years now..." Zane explained. "The last practitioners of the style are long since gone and there no known records have been found. Believe me I've searched high and low..." Zane stated.

Carefully untying the blue silk ribbon around the old scroll on the table, he continued to speak. "As I entered the cavern, the sharks warned me of the possibility of never returning. Deep within the cavern, after setting off countless latent genjutsu and ninjutsu traps to discourage anyone from entering, I came across this scroll. It seems the ones who knew of this art, weren't very fond of wanting to share it." Finally unravelling the scroll carefully, the top of the scroll read in an older variation of their language, "Yaiba no Mokumoku." Luo then muttered, "Way of the silent blade. I've been able to translate all of the instructions into our modern day language. However, its practice is too difficult for me to to completely master on my own. I'm going to need your mind for all of the practices of the blade both ancient and new to help me figure this art out. With my speed and fluidity, we could knock this out within the week if we worked on it obsessively without being bothered." Staring at Zane seriously as their two sharingan eyes locked, he spoke clearly. "Zane, this art is both sacred, and deadly to the mist. The only thing I ask of you is that you keep this art guarded with your life, as I will with mine. It is what made the hunter-nin of ancient kiri a constant fear."

Zane's sharingan locked into Luo's as a huge grin swept across his face. "You're right...I've been too lenient with the Mist swordstyle but..." Zane said as he took out a simple kunai and twirled it around his hand. "The Hunter nins of Kiri will rise again more powerful than the blades...The swordsmen always worked in the open, always fighting the wars, but the Hunter nins were the ones that won them. One week..." Zane stated as a determined look now took form. "We shall master this in one week then, and I promise you, I'll guard it with my life."

Luo nodded showing Zane the scroll. "The accuracy it takes will not be difficult for either of us. My practice with senbon has already taught me the vital points in the human body. It is the manner in which these points are accessed that I can't understand. We need to fashion these "assasin's blades" with the instructions in this scroll. Without this weapon, it seems we'd only be able to master so much with just the sword." Luo sighed heavily at the daunting task. It was for the good of his people, but this style seemed to require a lot. However, he knew their training in the mist sword technique would give them the edge to learn this faster. "You should send a clone to the tower."

Zane formed a clone from the water moisture in the air as he whisked him away. The clone dissapeared in a burst of Mist as Zane walked closer and read the scroll. "Yes you're absolutely right, with your senbons this would be perfect for you. Then again I am a medical shinobi, therefore I know all the vital points as well. You're right, the points would be hard to acess fully. The accuracy won't be as easy as one would think for the normal shinobi. We who have sharingans would be easy...but I see what you mean about the blades."

Luo nodded with a grin. "So you know why we are the two only candidates in the whole village who can pick up on this fast enough to master it and begin teaching it in secret to the hunter-nins. Do the hunter-nin have a training facility we can teach them in when we finish learning?"

"Yeah, the Kiri Training Facility will be perfect for it," Zane pointed out thinking that they could easily rename it into it. "So shall we get started then?" Zane asked him, eager to get the training started.

Luo shook his head a bit. "If they are to train there, I request a new underground facility be built for them specifically to train alone. But yes, we could use the kage training room on the top floor for secrecy purposes. You have metal up there we can work with to make the weapons, right?"
