Well, Whilst Yellow was awesoem ialways wanted a starmie, but instead got Cloysters
---this means even though they are te 3rd eng-version they also need to trade to get my fave pokemon
in emerald, you can get either latios or latias and get staryu by fishing
you can also find bothlotad and seedot, only seedot is very uncommon
however, Starmie and ludicolo were my faves from that game, so thus emerlad haivng them both made it my most-played third version
however platinum is different, as dont like much of the pokemon form sinnoh other than ones both cames come with like gallade and legends or Lucario, drifblim and infernape, wich you get in all the D/P/Pl games, Paltinum was merely a new story for me, but is the best new story so far
I neverplayed crysta, wanted to but couldnt convince mom to buy it for christmas
and i only palyed yellow, which was hard to play cause of my supreme pikachu-loyaty back then
so really i dont have afave of them
to me, it's pokemon
my fave is Blaziken and May
further faves are all the fire-starters, Scizor, Gallade, Flareon, Weavile and Metagross
Legned faves are Def-Deoxys, Jirachi(main fave legend), Moltres and ho-oh, lugia, rayquaza, and Kyorge
heck from the anime i only like May and Zoey really

Emerald defiantly. It introduced the battle frontier, it had the entire Hoenn legendary trio and it had battle tents scattered about instead of contests. whee It was the best for me since crystal. Playing Platinum was like part of a flashback to Emerald for me X3.

the battle tents coulda rotted for all i cared...
the frontier was enough...
though te pre-view of whats-to-come was nice the rules in the tent were the few setups i just couldnt do, so i lost in those ones, miserably
Crystal intro'ed the battle tower, Emerald the frontier, and Platinum just carried them both over
perosnally i'd say emerald just for the sakes of howamny times i've palyed through it, but i'd also say platinum due to more of my fave pokemon being more useful in it

Ehh, I just liked to battle :V plus another reason for emerald being my fave was the cloning glitch XD
But yeah I liked the battle tents >> the tower was ok . . . I liked it better in fire/leaf though I think it was the same. . . .

i would probably say emerald to and its awesome since it has the frontier thing which was kinda fun
