We needed a place to express the talents God has given us. If you like to write or draw and would like to share this is the place to do it. Please keep it clean.

I found out that my gifts include poetry and photography. My other talents are singing, crafts as well as decorating.

Okay, so I wrote this poem last year. It's for the Lord. There is a single cuss word in it. If this offends people for whatever reason, I can always delete this post.

But do not change the word, please. First off, you will mess up the rhyme scheme. Second, I don't want anyone editing my work.

Anyway, without further ado, here we go.

O Lord

Did you cry, O Lord,
When they led you away?
To crucify you
On that bittersweet day?

Did you cry, O Lord,
When all the people came
To do their best, Lord,
And try to make you tame?

Do you cry, O Lord,
‘Cause you are true,
Yet so many don’t
Believe in You?

Do you cry, O Lord,
When they start to spit?
When they drag You
And Your Name through s**t?

Will you cry, O Lord,
When you return,
‘Cause you know so many
Are gonna burn?

Will you cry, O Lord,
When you come back,
And see the people,
And the faith they lack?

When you cry, O Lord,
Is Father there,
To help you through
Things hard to bear?

When you cry, O Lord,
It’s not for you.
I know it’s for us,
‘Cause you are true.

This is a free-verse psalm that I have written.


Hear the Lion's roar!
God cannot be tamed.
Your holiness, O Lord,
Exceeds all bounds!
Your goodness, O Lord,
Is the highest goodness!
Lord, our goodness is nothing
In comparing to you,
And your righteousness.

O Lord, you are worthy!
You alone are God,
The God of Salvation,
The God of Holiness,
The God of Righteousness,
The God of Love,
The God of Mercy!

Surely, O Lord,
Your holiness will ring forever!
Your love, O Lord,
Knows no limits!
Your mercy, O Lord,
Cleans us!
You wash us, Worthy Lamb,
With your blood,
Your holy, pure blood!

You are without blemish!
You are without fault!
You are beautiful, O Lord,
And your beauty shines
More than all the stars in the universe.
You are bright, O Lord,
And your brightness, your light,
Gives us guidance!
Your wings, O Lord,
Give us sanctuary.
I love you, O Lord,
And will praise you all my days.

My desire, Great God,
Is to dwell in Your House,
Where your beauty,
Where your light,
Remain forever!
Where you, O Lord,
Will minister to me,
And to all others.
Where you, O Lord,
Will kiss me,
As a father kisses his child.
Where you, O Lord,
Sit on your throne,
Where I can praise you!
Where you, O Lord,
Will be resting!

My tears, O God,
Shall be of joy,
Shall be from your
Sheer holiness, O Lord.
They shall fall to your feet,
And I shall wipe them with my hair,
The hair you gave me.
For all things come from you, O Lord.

You have broken my chains, O God!
You have healed my body, mind, and soul,
Great One!
O Ancient of Days,
Surely your goodness will shelter me
From the darkness, forever and ever.
Forever, Lord, I will be with you.
I long, O Lord, to praise you for eternity.
Thank you, O God,
For You.

For You are Holy, God.
You are that You are!
You will be what You will be!
Holy is the Lord forever!
