Have you ever been abroad or at least out of the safety of your own state/city/comfort zone? If you have, where have you been to?
I've never been out of Europe but I'd love to visit every continent at least once. I have only visited a few countries besides my own tiny Finland and they are Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Malta. biggrin

I've never been out of the US. I've like been out of state once when I was like 2, so I don't even remember it. I've been in Idaho my whole life. I'm fine with it here though. ;D I've never really been interested in traveling.

I'd love to travel around the world! I'm waiting for a lottery win and maybe someday it'll happen. biggrin
I'm going to Spain in the fall of 2010 with my school's Spanish group for a study trip! We're going to Barcelona for five days, it's so exciting! I wish I wouldn't have to wait so long...

It's hard to pick just one place... I haven't really even thought of it! I guess I'd like to go to Africa, just to see what it really is like in there. Then I'd love to go to India and Japan. I can't decide. sweatdrop

@puremua I never thought about going to Africa. I actually think it would be pretty cool. The only problem would be the heat.
@Oreo Oooo. I live in Idaho! Where'd you go in Idaho?

I was born in Georgia and I live in Maryland now, so I've been most states in between. I've been to Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia. Never left the country though.

I'd like to visit the US some day. ♥
I'm so jealous of my friend whose sister's husband is American and she gets to go with them to Philadelphia for Christmas. Good for her, I hope she brings me back something nice lol. biggrin
I'm going to Stockholm (Sweden) in October during our autumn break but only for one day since it's a cruise. smile

I've never been to Philadelphia but my older sister went with my grandmother for some bible camp and then my younger sister and my mom went to see the butterfly museum. That sounded cool, the butterflies will land on you. I'm scared of butterflies though. I've always wanted to go to Ireland.

I love traveling, and wish I could do more of it!
I've visited most of the 50 states in America - my dad did a lot of contract surveying, so every Summer when I was a kid our vacation consisted of going someplace where he was working. I haven't been to Hawaii, but I'd like to! I may have also missed Rhode Island, Vermont, and Maine. I had a map that I colored in as I visited the states, but that's long since vanished.
Outside of America, I've been to Canada (Victoria and Niagara Falls, mostly), Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and Japan. We went to Japan for our honeymoon - and the cherry blossoms were blooming unexpectedly early, just for us! We went to every open-air festival we could find.
My favorite places: 1) Historic Kyoto - I am going back there as soon as I can! 2) Tivoliland in Denmark - has the world's most awesome bumper cars! And no shortage of cute Euro-boys to smash into in them. wink 3) Iceland - yeah, there's not a whole bunch to do, but the geothermal pools are sooooooo niiiiiice to soak in. And sight-seeing pony rides are nice too!

Cork ireland, surprisingly, was my favorite. XD and frankfurt germany is pretty nice too, outdoors, during the daytime, in the winter on a good day. I like the cold but i dont live in it, funny how that works.
I would love to visit japan, or south korea.

I've visited Japan for two weeks when I was in High School. I was awesome, but I do wish I had more time there, I only spent two days in Kyoto, and three days in Tokyo. I feel like I missed out on a lot.
And I visited Puerto Rico numerous times, my family lives there so I get to visit a lot. I love the tropics.
Oh, yeah, I've been to lot's of random cities, like Chicago, Boston, and NYC.
