Well, our first song is claustraphobia-the walls are closing in. Our show is sorta on the dark side. Our opener flags are red with a black outline and a large black transparent box in the center. The second song is wepon. The third is a swirly twilight zone type silk. The fourth is a shiny...green...go figure. Our last ones are bright green/yellow(not sure which) with bright blue claw marks on it (this one reminds me of frosted flakes! whee ). Kay, I'm done!

Our opener flags were striped yellow gold and red, it was for the Incredibles. The 2nd song we all had red flags and the two seniors had yellow flags.. that was gay.. and then for the third song we had white swing poles.. ya that was really stupid since everything else was red.

This year our theme is the Incredibles. The first song flag is black and blue. The second song in a very bright hard to miss yeallow flag. I mean you couldn't miss this flag if you tried. And our third song is my favorite and I think the prettiest flag on the field. It is three different shades of green arranged in a ripple.

Next time I get a picture of it I'll post it so you can see. It is pretty though, I'd hate to see it thrown in the round tubs for storage like the others.

the opener (invocation of alberich): back line uses these huge a** shiny red flags. front 6 (hehe i was part of it) uses these kinda rainbowy but not (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, silver, but shaped like fire so theyre all swirled and stuff....hard to explain) with tails at the end of the pole.....interesting effect. i like them even tho they are REALLY old.....at the end of the season my coach found another set of them in good condition in the guard ctrain.

barber of seville: front 6 keep their flags, back line grabs the same as the front 6

poet and peasant: clear shimmery....greenish hue shaped like a quarter of an oval....short going up, long going out, with a purple curve at the top....they kinda glow with the stadium lights on them (our school got a brand new stadium, complete with UBER bright lights so it was pretty awesome)

rhapsody in blue: blue flags! *gasp* who would have guessed?! theyre hugeish (well we had them on 5.5s so there wasnt as much hand room as if it was on a 6) blue rectangle with a gold strip at the top and a gold strip at the bottom. they make the funniest noises and everyone in the band loves them.

william tell: we use the rhapsody flags for the first part. theres a soloist in the middle who uses the "swan flag" (white and silver wings like a swans...) and for the finale, we have these double gold flags. there are two flags shaped like the poet and peasant ones, but theyre both on one pole, so the flat sides face into eachother and the curves are out. it creates the illusion of us spinning fast, because there are two....except we were spinning them pretty fast so it made them look even faster! they were awesome.

i know, i suck at describing. gonk

Ok unlike other years, we're only playing two songs, with the exception of last year, we did Channel Surfin. Well this year for our first song, Mama Mia, we have flags that are three colors, yellow, pink, and blue. Then for Danceing Queen, we have two hoops, silver and blue.

Our show is "Wild Horses" by Natasha Bedingfield.
Most of the show is weapon, but we have a flag feature in the end.
We all have silks that are dyed/painted to look like horse colorings... they go along with our airbrushed leotard/jazz pants combo.
I'll post pictures as soon as I get some. ^_^
