CHARACTER CALL AND RULES
One day in the middle of August, a mysterious letter is delivered
to 16 top fighters from around the world.
The letter is opened by one participant and it reads:
“ Hello ________
You have been invited to the 1st annual Shomeyomo, a world fighting
tournament! This tournament is to determine the best fighter in all the world!
You will be up against some of the greatest martial artists and fighters of all
time for a prize. What is the prize, you’re asking? Anything your heart
desires which is within my powers to grant. Be it money, fame, women,
food… I will grant your wish. But like all things, there are rules to this brawl
to end brawls. Please continue to read for said rules:

FIGHTING RULES
(#1. Posts per battle will be limited to 30.
That means you have 30 each posts to role play your battle. After the battle you may post as much as you want as long as it’s not overly done. But when you reach your 25th post, you and the person you’re fighting must roll one 10 sided die to decide winner. Winner goes to highest number rolled. Discuss the way the battle will end in the OOC topic, PM’s, or IM’s.
Here’s an example:
A and B post 25 times, A and B roll a die, A gets a higher number than B, A and B discuss how to end match, by post 30 the battle is over.
And to keep better track on the post, we want you to number battle posts. All other post do not need numbers. Also, when you post we’d like you to use a small 50x50 picture of your character so it’s easier to tell who is talking. You can change your font color too if you like as long as it’s not blinding bright.
#2. Absences
If you will be away for whatever reason, please post your reason in the OOC. “The Director” will post a legitimate reason why the fight must be postponed.
If you will be away for whatever reason and don’t post in in the OOC, you have 5 days to reply before “The Director” disqualifies you.
Here’s an example:
A is going away on family vacation and can’t post for a week. If they are fighting, Director will say he wants the match postponed until a later date and the next match will begin shortly.
B has been away for more than 5 days and hasn’t posted why. Director steps in to disqualify B and announced A as winner by default.
If you’re going to participate in this role play, dedication to it is key especially when fighting a match.
#3. Outside the Ring role playing
Just because you aren’t fighting doesn’t mean you can’t post. But don’t let excessive posting get in the way of the match. You can talk to the other fighters as they watch the match, hang out, eat, etc. Making some sort of a relationship among fighters is important. We want you guys to interact.
#4. Your home away from home
The Director is go generous that he has purchased a 5 star luxury hotel for all the fighters to call home for as long as the tournament goes on. Each room comes with a king sized bed, jacuzzi bathtub, 42” LCD TV that allows hook ups to other electronic devices, all day room service, lounge area and small appliances in a corner kitchen. And if you own a pet and will be bringing it with you, the hotel also accommodates to all animals of any shape or size. Transportation to anywhere in the city is also available.
#5. The Main Plot
Sure this is a fighting tournament but that doesn’t mean that’s all there is to it. After everyone has been invited, arrives and registers, I will tell you all what “The Director’s” main objective is. And that is all I’m going to say….)

BASIC RP RULES
No godmodding - means no controlling of anyone’s character
except your own unless the other player gives you permission for any reason.
No one lining - try to keep post to a limit of 3 lines/sentences.
No more that 3 characters to a player - NPCs type people don’t count.
Example: Man selling lettuce gives you directions.
Not everyone is an excellent player - So if you’ve got a problem
with someone’s playing, tell them in a PM and give tips. Keep it nice.
Obey normal guild rules - if you don’t know them, READ THEM.
Please try to type correctly and spell as best as you can -
Things like, “Het ook a hite to teh faze and feel backward one is but,” is unacceptable.
(I died a little inside giving that example...)
When in doubt, use spell check in word processor.
If your character speaks with an accent add subtitles.
But remember this will make your post look longer.

Fighting Style/Weapon of Choice: A 25 pound glass ball attached to an
white gold 1 1/2 foot rod. Inside the ball, thin compact fluorescent lamp
with a 200 watt battery. It takes 3 hours for it to completely recharge if
used more than 5 times in 1 day. Once activated the light is reflected
inside, blinding all those but it's wielder momentarily. Other than being a
lamp, it can be used like a hammer or mace. Causing painful blows to
anyone who tries to stop Chispa.
Quick Bio: Chispa is usually happy and bubbly but when faced in battle
she is fierce. Sometimes she can let her anger get the best of her. The
reason she joins the tournament is to find 2 men, once with blond hair
and the other with brown. She was told by her father that these men can
help her defeat her sister who is using Chispa's family secrets for glass
blowing and science to make weapons of destruction for terrorists.

His well furred, appearing bushy, tail is relaxed and has good length, with a white tip. Maliki wears a thick leather dog collar, with a chain leash attached that he keeps wrapped loosely over his shoulders. Normally shirtless, wears dark grey baggy jean shorts. Upon receiving him and others, she began experimenting on them after wiping their memories of being normal humans. His owner sent him to the Shomeyomo in the hopes that he’d be a fine specimen to show off for potential cliental and government grants.
