I can't help but say that I love them all! It was such an awesome anime/manga! I hope they make a 2nd season of it! crying I haven't read the last volume either, but I will soon! biggrin What did I like about it? Well, I like how inspiring Tohru is. I wanna be like her and be the sweetest/kindest person there is. It'll take a lot of work though. xd lol The people also seem so real in it with all their personalties and it's just awesome. ^_^

i liked most all the characters. i've read the entire series^^ and though the ending is a little weird [won't give any spoilers] it was still good^^ i love the couples! tohru and kyo, yuki and that girl.... can't remember her name. and i must say that i actually like akito^^ hehe also yuki and ayame's relationship is really humorous and..... yeah...^^ but yeah, theres so much in it thats is good that i can't say it all or else this post might turn into a book lol

I agree with both of you biggrin
I can't choose one character, they're all amazing in their own way.
The ending was weird but I liked it.
All in all, it's an awesome manga/anime heart

Oh my goodness! I love fruitsbasket <3 It took me forever to read the whole series though > _ < but my favorite characters are Tohru and Kyo n n Kyo is so cute xD (in a mean sort of way o-o)

I haven't wathced the anime, I heard it wasnt as good as the manga. But I love the manga. I love Momiji and Haru. >w< It's hard to choose between Kyo and Yuki. >w< They're both so cute. But Kyo has that personality. o-o;

I like Fruits Basket alot. Tho' it did get a lil' to dark, its still a good manga. The anime sucked tho', it was nothing like manga.

I own the boxed set of the anime, and I'm at volume 9 of the manga. I LOVE FRUITS BASKET!
Favorite character.... Yuki and Kakeru are now fighting each other for first place. XD Technically, they have been for a long time (I first "met" Kakeru in fanfiction), but the battle only became official after I read the chapter where they meet. I like all the other characters, too. Even the fanclub girls, because I totally understand where they're coming from.
Personally, I thought that the anime was very faithful to the manga, all things considered. The manga is "fuller" in the sense that there are more sub-plots and mini-stories alongside the main ones, but when the anime is considered by itself, it's beautifully done. Plus, it's the best dubbing job I've seen so far for an anime series (I love watching with Japanese-subtitled, too).
I would love it if they would continue making the anime, but I don't know how likely that is anymore eight years after the fact... I would have loved to see some of the Student Council meetings when Yun-chan is president. biggrin
I can't pin down why I love Fruits Basket to just one thing yet. I just love everything about it. smile

Yuki and Kyo are also my favorites.
I read the entire manga series and watched the anime. Most likely they won't be making season 02. I wish they would.

Such a cute anime! Not finished with the manga yet but it really cute so far ^^ My favorite characters are Kyo, Hatsuharu, Momiji, and Shigure. (So far XD)

i luv how the anime/manga teaches you lessons about kindness about how its better to not be selfish it really warms my heart idk anour any1 else but this anime really teaches me =)
