the new tool bar sucks. I want the old one back. my navigation is all messed up now. and Most of all, I hate the pictures in the submenus. here is a patition that is for returning the old syestem. I signed and thumbs up it.

If they're going to make it this weird blue, they could at least let us choose from colors?
Also... the navigation is difficult now. And I am very mad that guilds is not under shortcuts anymore!
I don't like it. But. Hey. What can we really do? They put all the effort into the new design, and I don't think they're about to remove it just because some people don't like it. The least they could do is let some users beta test it. After all, it is for us.

I have the tektek tool bar so I just use that

 {Sunrise}//(Make me feel life) (Sunset)//{Make me feel love} I really dislike the new bar, especially that they took out the My Guilds from the shortcuts. It's not that I can't just navigate to it through the main guilds page, but the reason WHY they would take it out. Their not-so-subtle neglect of the guilds is rearing its ugly head at us again. stare
Also, why is Gaia taking time to change their toolbar (when the old one was just fine) when they have a million other things to be doing? They should stop updating things that are fine and work on obvious problems.
For instances, why can't I change my profile into custom? And why can't I change my multimedia easily? These problems that I've been having have been going on for over a YEAR.
But nope! New toolbar's more important.

Gina, both of your problems are located in the same area: http://www.gaiaonline.com/account/settings/The third and fourth options. For multimedia and for switching profile styles. It's been that way for a while now. However, Gaia calls the custom profiles "Classic" and not custom. Just so you know. But yes, I'm very irked at the "My Guilds" shortcut being missing. I keep trying to go to it, but end up clicking "My Posts" instead. Very annoying. I do like, though, that trading is easily accessible now. Right now, I'm more confused on where the avatar arena went. I only see the art arena linked up there.

I can't say I mind the trade being easier to get too. but a lot of other very useful short cuts have been removes, signatures, wishlist, and others. I've sat throught a few other changes, but some are now gone that I needed. and the picutes take a while to load.
I want my card game and slot games back. it keeps saying I have no tokens. I only ran out once,a nd it won't let me play at all any more. that's what i want fixed. and i know that's a programing error.

I kinda like it. I always had problems clicking on the old one, but that may just be because I'm on a Mac or something. *shrugs* I do dislike the lack of guilds as well as the lack of an inventory shortcut though. I like the design, just not the things they removed...
Also, the blue so doesn't match the top bar. Lame.

i'm tolerating it, but it does annoy me that several of the shortcuts i used before have disappeared (the most annoying one being the inventory). i agree that Gaia isn't really seeing what needs to be done, and seems to be dodging the major issues, which isn't right. the graphics aren't entirely user-friendly.
i think at the very least they should have the option to choose between the old and the new in the preferances section. then again, that's what i say for every silly little update razz

@Fini and Dark: What are you talking about? The "My Inventory" shortcut is /still/ there. It's the second option underneath the shortcuts menu. They didn't take that out. They only took out the "My Guilds" shortcut.

Where are you looking, Kuro, because I'm with Fini and Dark - I don't see it. ._. Under My Gaia is Avatar, Aquarium, Car, and House in the first column and Mail, Friends, Profile, and Account Settings in the second one.
I dislike that most of the shortcuts I actually used are now gone (sig, wishlist, subscribed threads, etc.) and I have to surf around for most of them. The blue doesn't go as well with the rest of the header as the old brown did either. And this was an unnecessary update anyway when they could have been working on other things that really do need fixed/updated.

 Right there. ^^ All of the shortcuts not in the navigation bar are up there in the "Shortcuts". They still took away the "My Guilds" from the "Shortcuts" menu. I hate that. .___.
