Seriously, if I hadn't come up with Maraz myself, I'd hate his guts. But he's one of my favorite creations. Go figure.
I'm not surprised. That's usually how it works - evil characters are intriguing and the more personality they have, the more we have invested of ourselves in them, and the more we like them.
Anyways, pictures look great! I've never been one for using that style myself, tried it a few years back, didn't like it, and switched to something else. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it when it's done well by someone else. And if that made no sense, I blame it on sleep deprivation.

I'm kinda sad she's got such a small roll, she's a really strong female character and I really like her. She's the self-proclaimed ditzy artist who acts as a contact within the mage Order for Eithan, a Rain Knight devoted to wiping out the vampire Order of the city.
I think I'm about 30,000 words for the story right now... I still need to write up a timeline so I can see how much more I have to go and pace myself... I don't want to go over 100,000 if I can help it. it's not my main project but I needed a break from revising my other novel. Editing stinks.
