If anyone is just looking for a little inspiration, take a look at http://www.csszengarden.com . It's a site that follows a similar idea to the Gaia profiles: there's a set html that you have to work with, but you can manipulate the content using CSS and your own images. It's aimed at graphic designers, so there are some AMAZING layouts in there, and many of them demonstrate how powerful CSS is with their arrangement of the various pieces. I always take a look through the official designs there when I'm designing something and feel uninspired, so I thought I'd share it here ^_^ I haven't yet created a layout that I think is worthy of submitting to CSS Zen Garden, but I hope to get a design in there eventually.

Anyone else heard of it? Any favourites?

I never heard of it, but I love the Mozart one.. and the Manhattan edition. It's lovely. Though I don't really see how we could implement these things on Gaia, it's a nice inspiration source indeed. heart
Edit: Oh, and I LOVE Vertigo. @_@ <3

Take a look at Che`'s profile - he's moved completely away from the default design. You have to be careful playing around with absolute positioning because different browsers might display them differently, but you can acheive the kind of effects in CSS Zen Garden 3nodding I'm bored of my layout now, I'm gonna try a fun flowy one to be different when I can whee

But maybe I'll try and work out something different as well. @_@; Exciting... <3 I'm just not so good at coding. n_n;

Aw, thanks for linking my profile (sorry to IE users xP). heart That last CSS Zen layout, this had to be my favourite part: I've seen the idea of a thread where you post what not to do in the WF. It's amazingly successful, I'm all for the idea.
