U2 is a popular band around here so I decided to take the initiative to create a thread for them.
Anyone have an opinion about their older music compared to their newer stuff?

It's all epic and drawn out, and frankly boring to me. sad
The only song I like is New Year's Day.

Their newer music is really good, but some of the classics really can't be beat.

I get the internet in my new home and the U2 thread is unlocked. Just what I wanted for Christmas. I wish I didn't miss their final show in Portland, OR though.

My only main favorite song by them is "Sunday Bloody Sunday," just because the drums kick a** so much.

Zombie_Punk Pop, not rock. They're.. in my opinion... A bunch of liberal bitches, who's music skills amount to a 2 year old playing pots and pans for drums. rolleyes Say what you want to say, but I think U2 is one of the best bands I've heard. I mainly like The Edge's guitaring.

I've never liked U2...ever. The only song i've ever liked was "Sunday Bloody sunday" & even that song gets annoying...& they have some pretty long titles for their songs which grind my gears for some reason. xp

never really liked them, myself. especially since in the song that they count in Spanish at the beginning of, they say, "1, 2, 3, 14." that really annoys me.

And I came from a country who mixes Spanish with our native tongue all the time. sweatdrop
