Now, no doubt some of you have a few little tips and tricks up your sleeves, and we all know that not every stoner idea is the best idea.
Whether you have warnings, or a little tip or trick, here is where to post them!
Mine? Ice in your bong.
It's gets you a bit higher than water, and it's a nice trick for a hot day. My dad handed it down :3
Your pixels piss me off.

Mmm... yes, ice water makes it very smooth. A friend of mine sometimes uses a 50/50 mixture of Scope (mouthwash -- for the minty taste) and water in her little bubbler, which was a pleasant change of pace. whee

Performing a car-ride capsule. Raise the windows of your car, kill the AC, and light up a few joints. You might want to try this on areas with little cop traffic. And take it slow for ******** sake.
Driving down the road, seeing mother nature, the old parts of my town, or just checking out the metropolitan area is a blast, all while hearing Steel Pulse or Robi Draco Rosa.

And take it slow for ******** sake. Driving down the road, seeing mother nature, the old parts of my town, or just checking out the metropolitan area is a blast, all while hearing Steel Pulse or Robi Draco Rosa.
Hot-boxing on the fly? Ooh, sounds... so not like anything I'd suggest attempting in L.A.! But elsewhere, potentially quite nice...

It's great, we usually drive up the country side of my town up the mountains so when we go down stoned, we get to see the town's awesome view.

Ok, this is for those of you who live with parents, or others who don't approve of your smoking habits.
You can never be too careful when hiding your pipes/bongs/etc.
Do not slack off when hiding things. Do not take any unnecessary risks. The last time I did, I got caught.

I don't think I'd heard the lettuce trick, actually... but I think I can say with absolute honesty that under my little sister's tutelage, what I think I learned is to not let the weed get too dry! sweatdrop

I heard, (in response to the OP)
That ice in a bong (while smooth seemingly)
can create frost in your lungs.
On a cooler (pun actually not intended lol) note:
I love smoking out of apples!
(Honeycrisp are the best for it.)
I have also seen a video about a guy taking a hit out of a reese cup.

Here's a tip, it's called aluminium not aluminum..... that's just for starters.
Always use joints or blunts for public occasions, you cannot eat a pipe.....
If you have a good source and steady flow find a hotplate and a small room with no air current, place alot of weed on the hotplate and enjoy. But I'll probably never do it. LOL
Another for if you have a good steady source, this time of freshly cut dank. EAT IT..... no formalities like extracting the oils or drying it (curing it may be possibly good for this), pile it up in a salad, maybe add some dressing. I've heard it creates a hallucinogenic high like lsd. I plan to do this once my hemp company is up and running, after my music takes off.
Upon further research it may seem possible with smaller amounts using an avocado and lime.... dunno the legitness but I will test this and get back to you.
