I went to a tea party yesterday for the fourth of July and I'm just wondering, how long will it take before the government figures out a way to get rid of tea parties? They already consider us terrorists because we have different views from them. Are we ever going to have a FREE country again?

i dont think America will ever be the way it was. First off the original freedoms we were granted Press, Speech, Religion, Assembly, Petition is already stressed. The press in the 1700s was mainly basic things and information, yet now with the constant media update the press has been acting out of turn. Assembly (tea party) we are considered evil and terrible
i dont know look around you, its everywhere

If the government and the media continue their attempts to censor and silence people who have different views, there just might be a militia. But I think if the people stand up and say, "Enough!", there is a chance that America will return to the land of the free, home of the brave. It'll be better than ever if the people stand up and fight.

It'll be better than ever if the people stand up and fight. This is true, but, unfortunately the only people who would stand up wouldn't be able to create a big enough uprising to make a difference. And the people who want to are afraid of being outlaws and will chicken out *points to signature* when the people fear the government, there is tyrannywhen government fears the people, there is liberty. At this point the people are more afraid of the government than the government is afraid of the people.

Americas government was created so we would not have to fight to be given basic rights Unfortunately, it's come down to the "give me liberty or give me death" brigade again, because that is the only way we are going to get any freedom in our current government

land of the free ans home of the brave is no more. i think its going to get worse in the end them with all of our debt to china from what i can see happening down the road is the the country braking up in to smaller parts.

With the town halls going the way they are, I am afraid that Glenn Beck is right. This country is headed towards another civil war. I don't know if it'll be one of words or one of violence, but I can feel it coming.
If it is one of violence, I think it'll be the left that starts it. Look at the town hall in St. Louis! A man, giving out "Don't Tread on Me" flags, was assaulted by SEIU thugs. Something more drastic is going to happen somewhere and I just have a really bad feeling about it. The extreme left is already using intimidation tactics and media spin to make right wingers and even moderates who are questioning what is going on in this world look like crazies! The Black Panthers "patrolling" the polling places...acorn and SEIU blocking people out of the town halls...Princess Pelosi calling it an astroturf movement and accusing people of carrying swasticas (sp?)...calling protesters an "angry mob".
Right now, I just have this feeling of foreboding. It feels like we're on the brink of what could be the best thing to happen to this country or the worst....
