Each of the three team cabins is crammed full with bunk beds. There's a bed for each camper, though the matter of who gets top and bottom bunk is to be figured out amongst themselves. Living space is cramped at best, but it's quite possible for everyone to find a place for their stuff and still be able to live reasonably comfy.

Jay burst into the cabin, pumping up a fist in victory, "first!" She wanted a bottom bunk. No troublesome climbing for her, no sir! For Jay, being able to plop into a comfortable (or not-so-comfortable... It is a cheap camp) bed whenever she pleased without further physical exhaustion was necessary!

She raced to the bottom bunk of the bed in the end, right corner, shoving her bags under the bed and plopping onto it. It was surprisingly comfortable. Could've been the travel or the no-food-for-a-whole-day mess, but the pillows felt like a five star hotel's!

"Mmm," Jay settled in, waiting for others to come in.

Serena came through the door and smiled to the green and black female. "Hiya." Blue eyes glanced around. She took the bottom bunk bed on the right but closest to the door. Setting down her one bag and sliding it under the bed, she glanced back to the girl. "I'm Serena." She smiled before sitting down on her bed. She hoped this would be enough to start off a good conversation without the use of brownies. Carefully, she glanced back at the bed, and looked it over searching for bugs. Finding none she felt better. She looked back up and smiled. "I like your hair."

It didn't take long for another camper to open the door. Easily audible from the poorly-oiled creeeeeeaaaak that sounded when it swung open. Jay propped herself up on her elbows, looking over the next girl to enter.

"Oh, heya! I think I saw you in the messhall earlier... I'm Jay!"
She looked smart, no doubt one of the valuable additions to the Beavers that made them sure-frontrunners.

Mmm, how nice all these campers were, complimenting her and all, "thanks, sweetie, yours is pretty cool, too! Never cared much for long hair on myself, though."

(( I'm still in the docks with Annabel, technically, but I figured I might as well get some RPing in here, before you guys ducked off to bed. <3; ))

Quelled in anger by her conversation with Ariel at the docks, Annabel quietly headed for her cabin, not nearly in the mood to cause as much of a ruckus as she had been at the Firepit. There was still anger, yes; seething rage at the joke of a man they'd called a host, and his lackey Chef- rat bastards, both of them. But there was no sense taking it out on the other campers now; she had allies to make.

Unable to bring herself to a smile, Annabel pushed the door to the cabin open, pausing in the doorway to take a look around. There were two others in here- the one she'd commented to, Jay, and... Selina? Serenity? Something along those lines.

"Hey there." She managed, tone neutral despite her earlier outburst at the campfire. Finally able to plaster a weak smile, Annabel looked between the two; they were seeming to get to know one another. Well. She could jump in on that game.

"I'm Annabel Lee," she continued, moving forward from the doorframe and into the room's center, "but just Annabel is better. I, uh.." her smile slipped at this, the words she was attempting to formulate choking bitterly on her tongue.

"...I really want our team to do well- and win," she finished finally, a sort of somber ferocity taking her entire body. "I don't know about you guys, but, my first goal is getting that host back for bringing us here- the second's surviving. I'm not asking you in on the first, but..." gesturing with a paw, she glanced between them once more.

"I think our cabin's gotta stick together to win this. Not tear ourselves apart, y'know? So, uh. ...I hope we can get along."

Letting silence dwell after that statement, another idea hit Annabel.

"..Would one of you mind, actually, if I took the bunk above you?"

"This is our cabin, right? Not exactly what I had in mind..." she said. "Is it true we're sharing it with..boys?" She was used to the protected life from her overbearing parents. Sleeping in the same room with the opposite gender was both frightening and scary to her.

User ImageThinking back for a moment Serena smiled. "Oh yeah! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi there; I was trying to find the brownies I made for everyone but it seems they were taken. So, I'm sorry but I have nothing to offer except for friendship, and loyalty." She seemed a little nervous about the fact, but was quick to shake it off before smiling again. "Its nice to meet you Jay." She laughed. "Oh thanks. I wear this," she pointed to her bandanna, "because I don't know what else to do with it." She cleaned off her rear paws, before moving to sit Indian style on her bed. "So I'm just wondering, what did they tell you this place was?"

She looked up when the door opened again, and Serena smiled, waving hello to the new girl introducing herself. The girl listened and watched Annabel closely. Her face held that smile but her head was analyzing already. This was the girl she saw going off earlier. Nodding the blue-haired audio looked at her with gentle blue eyes. "Nice to meet you Annabel. I'm Serena and I'm going to do whatever I can to get our team to the top, including doing my best to get along with everyone in this cabin. I don't mind if you took the bunk above mine." Her mind was racing already, despite her sweet nature and calm exterior.

Another camper walking in Serena smiled. This was the one playing the flute earlier. "Hi." She blinked a little. "I think so, but I'm sure it will be okay."

Another loud creak announced the coming of the third female to join their "party". Jay sat up, grinning in welcome. This one didn't seem too happy to be here, either. "Ahh, hey, there. Took someone away from you, too?"

Jay's nose scrunched up. Chris was probably observing them, looking to shred friendships. No wonder they had such a long time-period to communicate!

Annabel looked pissed. Really ticked off. Jay could feel her there. In fact, Jay was sure that any camper there could feel her.

Finally someone that wanted a top bunk. Annabel was probably the best camper to give the top bunk to, now that she had a choice. At least she wasn't fat. Bottom bunk under a fat person? Not fun, dude.

"Sure, you can sleep right up top here!" And yet, Serena beat her to the punch. Jay shrugged. She didn't see many -- if any -- fat audios at the campfire.

Just then another camper walked in. That frills-and-lace chick, huh? "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that p***k of a host wouldn't spend money just on co-ed sleeping areas."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Helena smiled at the three girls, she recognized one as the girl who liked her playing. Another as the one speaking to the "famous one" and the third as one who made fun of her. She dismissed this, thinking that if they were to be on a team, they should be friends. "I don't believe I have introduced myself to any of you...my name is Helena Rose. May I take the top bunk of whomever she doesn't pick?" she said, nodding to Annabel. She decided not to use her name, as that would show she overheard her conversations outside the messhall.

As she walked to the Beavers' cabin, Ratched mulled what was happening over in her head. It wasn't a big deal to her, really; while she liked the others, a little healthy competition could be fun. And after all, Noel was in her group. He was a very nice guy. She pushed open the door to the cabin, hoping to see him, but there weren't any boys in the cabin at all. There were, however, a few other girls. Ratchet didn't really know any of them, but they all looked quite interesting. Wagging her tail slightly, she looked around for a good bunk. She wanted a bottom bunk, so that she wouldn't have to worry about dropping her tools.
"Anybody need a bunk-mate?" she said as friendlily as possible. "So long as you'll take top; I don't wanna drop any of my tools on you. They're kinda heavy."

Jay smiled at Helena, now groggy with a sudden wave of exhaustion. Or maybe that mischievous host released some sleeping fumes into the air. Who knew? "Nice to meet you, Helena."

Honestly, Jay would rather have the other chick sleeping up top. Helena looked like someone who would deck out her sheets with oodles of lace. And that wouldn't be much fun, considering Jay didn't want a frilly pink canopy over her damn bunk. But Helena seemed like a nice girl overall.

Creeaaaaaaaak. Another camper.

Another girl. This one was the mechanic. Jay shot an appreciative grin at Ratchet, "heya! Name's Jay!" She wanted this ally for sure. Nothing like a handy fix-it-all chick for the team!

User ImageSerena had offered the top bunk first, and that had easily satisfied Annabel. She always preferred being higher up- height advantages and what-not, as well as keeping an eye on everyone- plus, it wouldn't be as easy to watch over her. She'd already begun moving for the ladder up to her bunk when Jay offered hers, and Annabel turned to look at the radioactive Audio.

"Yeah, they did. A girl that'd helped a friend of mine out- he oughta be in this cabin, too." Annabel honestly smiled at that- if there was one breath of relief in this god-awful hell-hole, it was entirely the fact that she could take care of Simon in the team, now. And it really was a brightening thought- in the very least, she was guaranteed one friend- the rest of the girls seemed nice enough.

Climbing up the later once more, Annabel reached her bunk and flopped down, rolling onto her stomach with a sigh. As the younger girl introduced herself, Annabel gave a wave- if half-hearted, only out of exhaustion, not maliciousness. The girl, really, couldn't be blamed for being poisoned by that chef. (And yes, that WAS her theory, and she was sticking to it.)

"I think Jay's top'll do 'ya, if you're looking for that. And it's nice to meetcha. I think you'll be great for the team."

At the creak of the door, Annabel turned to see the camper- the mechanic who tinkered, from what she'd seen and heard in the mess hall.

"We've all paired up, so you're welcome to take whichever bed you like. And let me be the first to say," She said with mild humor,

"As a Beaver, we're going to get you through this hell-hole summer camp."

(( Heading to bed as well! <3; And if anyone would like PRP with Annabel at some point, feel free to PM/IM me~! Good night, everyone! ))

Jay's increasingly-droopy eyes watched everyone take their bunks. (Giving Helena to Ratchet's top for team's sake. XD) "Damn, they better have something good for breakfast tomorrow..." If she didn't get a proper meal, well, that wouldn't be very good now would it. For a moment Jay wondered if there were any animals in the forest that were easily caught and fried. Probably better than Chef's concoctions. Oh well. She'd maul over this thought tomorrow.

But first... Sleep. She needed it. Bad. "I'm out for the night guys, see ya'll in the morning... If we're not snuck off to another island by then... And with that, Jay succumbed to the tiredness that was tugging her eyelids down for a good while with a last, lingering thought of what was to come.
