I came up with the idea for this while creating my avi. Other people had stories for their avis, and I decided to try my hand at it, too. I'm using the character in an RP right now, (link here --> http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/barton-town/role-play-because-i-am-bored/t.51149979_50/), and I put it in the arena (link here --> http://www.gaiaonline.com/arena/gaia/original-avatar/vote/?entry_id=101464053#title). If you want to join the RP read the first post first, and if you comment and/or rate the avi, I will bestow you with love, gratitude, and cookies. ^_^ Here's my avi character's background. . .

One day while he was hunting in the wilds, a war lord came across a beautifully wild woman in a meadow. She was nearly naked, and orange stripes covered her skin. Instantly, the man felt he had to have her for his own, so he sent out a party to capture her.

Little did they know, she was actually a dragon, and fought ferociously to keep her freedom. In the end, she was caught, but she killed many of the war lord's best soldiers before she was taken into captivity. The war lord bound her in chains and a mask to keep her from killing again, or trying to escape. She is the war lord's prize possession, a trophy and warning to all of his enemies. Should they try to invade his land. . . She will be forced to kill them.

But the war lord feels a perverse love for his kept dragon, and gives her gifts in a desperate attempt to win her affection. A stuffed animal was the first, which she nearly destroyed before she realized the comfort such a thing can bring. Her other gifts were a staff to practice her fighting with (within her barred and guarded cage, of course), a pet penguin, and even a rubber duck.

The bats that surround the dragon-woman knew her from when she was free, and they keep her company as she plots revenge. Take note of that last word, for this wild woman will not settle for anything less than freedom. At any cost.

((In reality, I love dragons. Always have, and I knew that was the most affordable way to show that. ^_^ And it kind of took off from there. . . The duck and penguin are references for my two best friends, since those are their nicknames))
