So here's the premise:
Our characters are sitting around a campfire in the middle of nowhere, in a world they're unfamiliar with. And they get really bored. So some brave soul suggests they play truth or dare. smile
This is an out of character, mini-rp. Which means the characters are agreeing to play a game that probably none of them would actually play. But within the context of the game, they generally act at least close to in character (but you can go a bit out of character if you like. No one will kill you.)
Rules:
1. You can't make another character kill or maim another character.
2. Nothing overtly sexual (no groping or stripping--you guys know what I mean. Nothing inappropriate. But things like massages, kisses and funny stripping should be fine).
3. Characters can refuse to answer a truth or complete a dare but that means you forfeit your current turn and your next turn. (We're a small group so I'm not going to permanently sideline characters).
4. Inactive people will be skipped. Period. We're not going to wait forever on people forever anymore. If a person doesn't respond in a reasonable amount of time, I give permission for them to be skipped. Also, there's no need to go in any kind of order so don't worry about it.
The first question is aimed at whoever shows up first so anyone can feel free to jump in at this point.
Angela looked at the person next to her and smiled innocently. "Truth or dare?"

Cheeva chewed the stem of her pipe.
"Dare."

Angela smiled and leaned forward a bit. "This seems like an appropriate dare for you, Cheeva. I dare you to--without actually transforming--walk around on all fours and act like a cuddly--not murderous, but cuddly--kitten."

"I can't wait to see this." Zen exclaimed, unable to ever imagine such a dare ever being done by the cat asassign.

The pipe dropped from Cheeva's lips as she blustered. "I...it...that's..."
Lips pursed, nostrils flared, she shuffled onto her hands and knees.
"Of all the degrading..." she opened her eye wide and gave Cheshire cat smile. "Prrow?"
Cheeva crawled about on her hands and knees, purring and meow-ing. She wandered overt o Zen, who seemed to be enjoying her humiliation far too much, and rubbed her head against his shouler as a cat would do.
Cheeva batted her eyes at him, "Meow?" then stood, dusting off her skirt with a glare.
"There? Happy?" she rescued her pipe and settled back in her spot. "Truth or dare?"

Angela frowned slightly. She had the strangest urge to hug Cheeva and scratch behind her ears.
She decided she was going to kill that urge. With fire and many sharp, pointy things.
And then pretend it never existed.

Zen put away a camcorder he had used to tape the momentary cuddly cheeva. "that's going on youtube!" He smiled, trying so hard not to laugh.
"Truth!" He said, not really thinking when he said it.

Cheeva gave him a glare. A glare that quite clearly asked, "Are you making light with me?"
She leaned back, chewing her pipe, a sly smile on her face. Truth, eh? Hmm..." she clicked her fingers. "Why, I must ask Zen, do you have feelings for our dear Midget here? Are you in lust, as it were?"

"You must be mistaken, I'm married, even if my wife is dead." Zen turned a bit red, like his hair. He crossed his arms in a "hymph" reply, then mumbled, "she is attractive......"

"I grew up in a lab, Cheeva. Romance was a bit low on the priority list so even if he was...." Okay, even if what she said was true, she was still trying to ignore the small, tiny, minuscule pang of disappointment. Until she heard him mutter something about her being attractive.
She didn't look at him but against her will, her lips curved into a tiny ghost of a smile.
"Your turn Zen," she said.

"Truth or dare Angela?" Zen wondered what the end of her sentence was, then it kind of dawned on him as to why the cat chose that particular question.

Somehow he was probably going to regret asking, but curiosity stirred by the cat was too much to ignore.

Des tried not to laugh. It was going to escape anyway so he raised his cup and snorted quietly into his tea. These people really where amusing.
Angela very slowly turned to face Zen.
She looked a bit like a deer trapped in headlights. What. The. Bloody. Hell? She opened her mouth to reply but nothing came out. She cleared her throat. Okay, just breathe. You can do this. It's just a stupid question right?
Taking a deep breathe, she responded, trying to choose her words very carefully. "I don't...really...I mean. That is..." she rubbed the back of her head. This wasn't going well. "Um...I suppose that you do have a nice...build. And your face is...rather nice. I mean...your eyes and...so. Yes?" Her cheeks were burning. She glared at Des and threw her cup at him. "Damnit, did you just laugh at me?"
Des dodged the cup and continued to snicker quietly to himself.

Zen threw a stick at Des, a bit annoyed at him. "Be serious you red headed b*****d!"
He was venting his new found flustered frustration on him, and managed to calm down enough to reply, poshly, "thanks Angela."
He took a seat by the fire again, resisting tackling Des.
