Phraktos was bored..and that was not a good thing. When he got bored he got creative and a lot meaner with the pranks he pulled on people. At the moment he was high above a crowded street hiding on a rooftop, trying to pick out a victim. Sure..he could just take out his feelings on the entire crowd, but he was feeling more like focusing on one in particular.
While this didn't happen very often, Tos' pranking one particular drow, it usually only happened when he was feeling particularly vindictive. This was usually after getting punished for some prank he had pulled in his House..and this particular day it was even more so. He rather disliked the Matron of his House and didn't see why she took so much stock in her idiot of a son. It was as though he were her most prized possession.
Phraktos snorted, and crossed his arms, feeling the anger well up inside of him. He would have to figure out a way to take out he unruly male and make his sister appear even more appealing to the Matron. Seriously..in Phraktos' mind the only female in his House that would make a good Matron was his sister. She wasn't weak like that vapid daughter of the Matron's. Or so self absorbed like his other female cousin. He'd have to find a way to help her gain the proper recognition from the Matron and her proper status within the House.
The thief's eyes wandered over the crowd, trying to pick out a drow that would be best fitted to his purposes. Someone small..someone unassuming and not tied to any large houses would suit it. He couldn't help but snicker at his "crowd" shopping.

Rikoyn’yln was taking hist time on his current assignment. He had a few days before he even really needed to get started on it so he was currently looking and just plain wandering around the area that his target was in. He wanted to know everything before he tried to go after someone and it was a good time to do it.
It was very crowded currently. He could either use this to his advantage or he could ignore it. He stopped, and leaned against a wall, still observing the place and just watching the people in general.
He felt something, he wasn't sure what. Riko could tell that something was about to happen. He looked around some more, trying not to look suspicious.
Currently the house he worked for wasn't that big, but it wasn't horribly small either. He was looking for a way to get out of it though and join a bigger house. He sighed. Now on endge, he wondered what was going to happen, when, and where.

Phraktos' gaze finally settled in on one drow below. He cocked his head sideways trying to get a feel for the veiled drow resting against a wall. He had a strange air to him, Phraktos couldn't help but wonder why the milling crowd hadn't noticed him. Perhaps it was because the fellow knew how to not draw attention to him.
Which meant the veiled drow was probably an assassin. Oh what fun this would be! Phraktos rubbed his hands together gleefully and grinned widely showing off his pearly white teeth. Now to figure out just how to get the fellow's attention without causing too much alarm below.

Rikoyn'yln still had his eyes on the crowd though he was looking at the surrounding areas too. All good places that he could use later. He sighed. Today wasn't going to be the best of days he could tell. He kept alert, ready for anything to happen. He lightly touched his dagger, almost as an assurance.

Phraktos had finally come up with a great idea. He'd have to get the assassin separated from the busy street below. That was really the only way he could get the male to where he could actually play with him. But just how was he going to do it? A smoke bomb? No..that would just cause confusion. Perhaps small darts pinpointed at and around the assassin? That would work, and it would make the assassin think he was being targeted by a fellow assassin.
Only..he didn't know how fast the fellow would be able to move. If he moved faster than Phraktos could it would be a bit difficult to keep up with him from the rooftops. There was also the question of where exactly the assassin would go when he thought he was being targeted.
Would he stay on the ground where he was easily identifiable by someone above? Or would he go to the rooftops thinking that the attack was coming from the ground.
Phraktos sighed, and mulled over his options.
He was itching to use his newest bomb idea. Perhaps that would work, even though it would probably end up killing one of the non targets below. His chin jutted out and he stroked it for a few minutes before he made his decision finally.
He grabbed the bomb laced with shrapnel, pulled the pin out of it and threw it into the street below, and moved back so he could best watch the carnage that would ensue.

Riko heard something. He wasn't sure what it was. He looked around, nothing, but then he quickly looked up and saw something falling. He got off the side of the wall and managed to get out of the way. He had just enough time to look around when the item exploded. He backed off some more, just getting out of range from anything that might hit him. A bomb? He wondered who it could be. It was said that his client might have an assasin targeting them but...
He looked up to the roof to see if he could find who did it. Unfortunately it seemed that the smoke was already too high and blocked his vision. Riko quickly ducked into an alley, trying to get away from the confusion. It seemed that other people had been hurt. Was it really an assassin then? He had never yet met one that put people who didn't have anything to do with the mission in danger or hurt them at least. He quickly got into a defensive mode.

"Well good for him," Phraktos muttered when he saw the assassin dart out of range of the bomb. "I wouldn't want him too maimed or it wouldn't really be much of a game."
He leaned back a bit when he spotted the assassin trying to peer up through the billowing black smoke that was rising from the charred cart that had passed near the bomb seconds before it had exploded. Phraktos' eyes glinted with amusement as he counted the three drow sprawled on the ground deathly wounded and two others that were wounded but not dead from his bomb.
"Well..now I know the range of the bombs, that is at least something that will come in handy." Phraktos commented to himself.
He moved on to another rooftop and hunched down and peered over the edge to see what the assassin was doing now. He snorted in disbelief when he saw the assassin was just standing there in a defensive mode trying to figure out where the attack had come from. It would have been smarter for the silly boy to have made a run for it. Now Phraktos would have to use one of his other methods in getting him to move.
With a sigh, Phraktos slide out his case of darts, the mouthpiece and placed one inside. He got to his hands and knees for a split second to blow a dart into the assassin's veil and then fell back down on the rooftop to see what the other's reaction would be now.

Riko heard another small noise and quickly ducked, though not before his veil had been, lightly, maimed. He looked around quickly and found the dart. Someone was really after him. Or at least enough to where they wanted to do something to him. He had to keep himself from getting angry. He liked the veil!
He looked up. Now he knew that it had come from above. He had to find a way to get up there. Then he remembered a place he had spotted earlier. He got up and quickly went into another alley that had some bars, perhaps they were pipes? And used them to swing up onto a rooftop.

Phraktos frowned. Damn he was fast. He bit his lip and eyed the veiled fellow as he pondered what to do. If the fellow had better control of his anger there really wasn't much point to continuing playing with the fellow. He sighed, and leaned on his arms and watched the assassin lazily.
He was rather pleased when the assassin finally shot his gaze up in his direction, but knew better to sit up as it would give him away. Thankfully he wasn't wearing his colorful cape today. Otherwise it would have given him away immediately.
He grinned and rubbed his hands together when the assassin disappeared from view. aha! The assassin was definitely trying to find a way up to the rooftops. Phraktos got to his feet and peered out over the rooftops, watching the area he figured the assassin would be showing up at. He waited, knowing the best way to get the other started in the game would be to allow him to get a single glance of him before he disappeared.
Despite his size, Phraktos wasn't slow or cumbersome like most assumed when they first met him. Sure so he was solidly built and oversized, but he could run pretty fast. Faster than a lot of other thieves in the Underdark, as he made a point to get practice by enticing others to chase him after every heist he pulled.

Rikoyn'yln landed softly on the rooftop. Keeping low he looked around. His senses were still on full alert. The attacker might run so Riko had to be ready. His hand was on his throwing knives already. Perhaps he could slow them down?
Then on another rooftop across form his he thought he spotted someone. Yes, there was definitely another drow. He could also tell it was male. It must have been him, sure it was bad to assume but there was no one else and the drow was on the correct rooftop as to where the attacks had come from.

Phraktos grinned devilishly when he spotted the assassin on a far rooftop. Aha! So he had been right. He figured he could either pretend he didn't see the other to give the other a false sense of superiority. Or..he could act like he normally did and piss the fellow off and starting the game like he normally did.
Gods..he loved playing and having fun with other drow. Especially when he had the advantage.
"HEY!" He cupped his hands around his mouth and bellowed loudly to get the other's attention. "I BET YOU CAN'T CATCH ME WHELP!" Then with a wicked smile he waved to the fellow and sped off over the rooftops merrily whistling the entire time.

Rikoyn'yln fought the urge to roll his eyes. It wasn't another assassin, just another Drow that was bored apparently. He fought the urge to yell back. He started off after the Drow.
Riko tried to stay calm though he his heart was racing. It felt as if it was another one of his chases and the adrenaline was pumping. It was like he was going after another one of his targets that he would eventually kill in the end, no matter all the tricks they pulled.
Unfortunately he wouldn't be killing this fellow. It wouldn't be worth it. But the other Drow would probably just hurt some others if Riko didn't do what the other wanted.

Phraktos made his way merrily across the rooftops just barely keeping ahead of the other's pursuit. He figured it would be funny if he pretended he wasn't as fast as he was. So when the other fellow actually did catch him he could speed up at the last minute and leave him behind in a cloud of dust.
Though that wouldn't be as much fun as it would be to actually play with the fellow. The ditching trick would have to wait for the very end. Had he known how chivalrous the other drow was he probably would have played off of that. However since he had no clue he just continued ambling across the rooftops trying to come with a set plan on what tricks to pull and when.
It did occur to him that the other drow had some sort of fondness for his veiled hat, the look that came into the assassin's eyes when it had been nicked hadn't been missed. Perhaps a bit of thievery would suffice in putting the other fellow at odds. With a snicker, Phraktos dropped from the rooftops and onto a woodbine then vaulted off of that onto the stone ground. First things first however, getting the assassin turned around and lost would be a perfect way to confuse him.

Riko followed the prankster at the same speed. Deciding not to catch up with him. Instead he took out a few of his throwing knives. Sure it would take some really good aim to get the prankster.
Looking ahead he focused his aim on the other. This was wasting his time. If he didn't do something about this guy soon he wouldn't be able to check the area out like he wanted too.
Focus... focus... He threw one of the knives, only hoping to startle the other a bit. The next one would actually be focused on hurting other drow a little. He couldn't get away with what he had done!

Phraktos was rather fortunate that the dagger thrown caught in his cape and it didn't harm him, other than nicking his arm slightly. He frowned, pulled the dagger out of his cape and ducked behind a wall with a pissed off look on his face and hurled the dagger back at the assassin.
"You'd better be glad that your dagger didn't hurt me worse!" He cried angrily at the assassin and pulled one of his bombs from his pouch and hoisted it at the fellow.
"Eat dirt b*****d!" Phraktos screamed right as the bomb exploded causing dust to fly up veiling his departure from the area.
Phraktos darted away using his full speed, putting plenty of distance between the two of them. He dashed into an empty warehouse and hid himself in the rafters.
