There had been arguing before she had left, the voices on the Master and Mistress in a loud harmony that seemed to shake the foundations on the house, and as Pasayo moved to leave and whisper her good-byes her own words were lost in the composition that appeared to be like an endless waltz of yelling and tears. She had dressed herself in silence wearing her usual attire for the house, a full and heavy gown despite the troubles on the heat that often comes with summer, and slipping gloves over the black skin of her hands the teenage Ashe departed without anyone seeing her off.

Right away she noticed the difference in temperature outside, her body seizing up slightly as sweat began to pool down the curves of her spine in an effort to cool down the heat she was feeling, but Pasayo could not think anything of it and merely kept her pace as she headed for the local park. She had no real reason to go there other than the book tucked close to her bosom and held in place by her left hand, the young woman thinking that reading outside of the home perhaps a good way to ease her mind and heart. It was not like anyone would notice she was gone, not even the other residents that were not the Masters and Mistresses, so she planned a full day out.

Or maybe she would not even dare to return to the manor.

Such a thought was unbecoming, her own mind startled by what had just come to pass, and Pasayo felt her cheeks tinge with shamed pink as she quickened her pace. The park was now in view along with several benches shaded by trees so she made her way towards the one that was closest, her legs already weary from walking in the heat and in her thick clothing.

Taking a seat on the bench with care to not let her dress rip or flair behind her, Pasayo sighed softly as she opened the book to the first page and read a few sentences that lined the borders.
