If I'm going out for just a moment or two, or if I'm going somewhere where I know there's a high chance of them getting hurt, then I don't take them out. Every month or so though I take them with me when I go with friends to shop and such though~ I always get the "What is that?" question and it kind of annoys me so I ten to reply with "It's an adorable midget."
I haven't taken pictures of them in public, but I know I will. haha.

✞ i've never personally taken my dolls any further than a friend's house every now and again. i've just heard too many horror stories of out-in-public doll "accidents" aka people having other people who don't understand what they are messing with them and/or messing them up/loosing things ✞

I used to feel like taking them everywhere at first (and took my first to college with me lol), but after my crazy excitement over my first doll had a while to calm down, I stopped feeling that way so much. It's just too much a hassle to carry them around and constantly be worrying about them getting dropped, bumped into, wig popping off, stolen.. etc.
I think now I'd only take them out if I'm looking for stuff to-scale (I can never guess by eyeing things..) or if I was taking them to a photo-shoot site or a meet-up. Anything else is just too troublesome for me sweatdrop
Maybe when I get my tiny, though, I'll take her out. Being small enough to tuck into a purse makes it a lot easier~

Don't waste your time on me, you're already the voice inside my head... I pretty much take Delia and the others everywhere with me, especially if I'm going shopping. It's fun to watch people's reactions. I take them to Walmart and craft stores on a regular basis.

DISNEYLAND, FO SHO.

The beach.

I take them normal places too, like the mall, the movies, out shopping. Of course i get the questions, but srsly? I'm 23, carrying around a doll. Wonderfully questionable. <3 I used to have business cards i printed out with dolls sites listed on them for the really curious.

I've taken mine out to dinner and a movie once, but that was because I was with two of my other BJD friends. We got weird stares and one guy told us we were "creepy" lol, but I expected that. It's certainly not something I'd want to do on a regular basis, not unless I was planning on taking pictures with them somewhere. Even then, I'd probably keep them in a bag until I got to the photo op rolleyes

Once in a blue moon usually to the craft store. But I have taken the other places such as the movies and when I got my tattoo done. I don't mind the stares, my arms just get tired after awhile. AoD boys are heavy.

I would like to take mine out more often, but as it is, I only take my doll out if a friend brings hers as well. So far, I've taken mine to a movie - we went to see Jennifers Body - it was great having the "creepy dolls" with us. The best part was when I visited my friends in PA and we went to the mall. We went to the Spencer's Gifts, and they look at me, and say "This one is new!" LOL Here's a pic from the movie theater for you enjoyment. My doll is back left, Dominic, a Breakaway vamp.

✖✖I usually take atleast one of my pukis to the craft store with me for measurements. It's really easy to misjudge BJD sizes unless you have them with you.

Scince I lats posted I have gotten a doll. I have takken her a couple of places , to craft stores to my work and out to the mall on my birthday. I was also usually wearing lolita style clothing as well so I got an amazing amount of stares . But the best place was this quilt store where a couple of my freinds and previous co-workers work now. And they couldnt get enough of her. Its cool to see older ladies fawning over a doll ( the are all in their 50s and 60s). Still working on my owns dolls ,will take them out with me more than I tke my first dolls.

I made a friend a couple months ago because I noticed as she was getting off the bus that she had a doll with her. I asked 'Is that a Luts?' and she gave me this totally baffled look and said 'What?' and I pointed to her doll and said 'The shoulder-cup, I mostly see that style of joint on Luts dolls.' She freaked out and was delighted, but she was getting off the bus just then, so she asked 'What's your Den of Angels name!' and we exchanged names and then by the time I got home, she'd already sent me a PM.
