It had seemed like a good idea at the time. Most things did to him. He took a mouthful of his drink able to feel the alcohol as it slid down his throat.

He had come to Eryndlin, as he was bored of the last place he was at. Alright, not technically true, but well bored of it, fleeing for his life, it was all the same to him. He had decided it was time yet again for a change. He tended to wander most of the time wherever he felt like. Sometimes his wandering was not so voluntary and instead rather… necessary, as had been the case on this occasion. Div’eari was prone to causing people to have a strong reaction to him; they seemed to either like him or hate him. There was no in-between. It was a strange phenomenon that he had witnessed happen countless times. He wasn’t of course completely innocent.

Div’eari sipped at his drink only allowing his eyes to slide quickly past all those around him. He had learnt through trial and error not to concentrate on any one person too closely. He had a rather active imagination, which in most could be ignored, but in his case, well it was hard to ignore things that were right in front of your face. A full colour illusion before you didn’t really lend itself to being ignored. It was part of what seemed to tip the scales causing others to dislike him. He shrugged to himself as he remembered how close he had come to real trouble in his last port of call, though that had been more connected to the job he had been doing at the time.

Apparently, not everyone appreciated him helping whoever desired his services. He could see though why helping a thief to steal from someone and hiding their escape with his illusions might be frowned upon. All he had to do was stand in an alleyway until the thief had run past him and then make it appear that there was no alleyway and only a wall. A very simple illusion and a job that was really below his ability, but he had needed the money.

This time it was going to be different. He was going to make sure not to annoy anyone and he would leave when he felt like it, not when he was being chased. He nodded to himself a light chuckle leaving him. He must look a little odd sitting alone drinking and seemingly gesturing to someone who wasn’t there. He waved one hand delicately allowing the illusion of another drow to appear in the chair opposite him. Maybe he would appear more normal if he seemed to have a companion. Then again his clothing did make him stand out just a little bit. He shrugged again, he liked it and it was comfortable.

He took another drink from his cup before brushing a hand back through his grey hair. As always the strands fell back, exactly where they had been before and he rolled his eyes grin stretching his lips. It seemed to be his default expression.

Anyway, he had thought when he arrived here that going for a drink would be the best way to proceed. He was feeling a little hard done to by the fact he had to leave the previous town a little faster than he would have liked. He also hadn’t chosen the classiest place to come, but it suited him well enough at the moment.

However, he was bored.

For Div’eari this was a dangerous state of being. It meant that any moment now he would stop allowing his eyes to just slide over the crowd. He would instead start examining them for something amusing to do. He was getting to the point where it would be preferable to do anything than just sit here drinking even though he now had a drinking companion. His eyes took in his illusion a laugh falling from his lips. The face was a bit blurred, but the rest of the body was perfectly fine. He would have to sort that out one day, but well it could wait.

A wicked smile slipping onto his features he started to look around again, but this time he decided to study those around him. He was good at remembering details about things he saw; it was what allowed him to reproduce them later with such accuracy.

Treskri ducked inside the bar, scanned the room with a swift glance and made her way over to a table secluded near the back of the room. She really wasn't in the mood to immerse herself in the drunken patrons tonight..she just wanted to drink and forget what had occurred earlier that day. The surface raider had been on the payroll of a prominent family in Eryndlyn until she had unknowingly attacked and beat the high son of the House unconscious. Of course..it hadn't been entirely her fault. The fellow had come on to her and attempted to touch her when she had finally erupted in rage and attacked. Even then she had gone easy on him. She could have quite easily killed him with a simple blow to the back of the head, but had instead opted in giving him a chance at changing his mind and submitting to her.

She snorted at that thought, and waved a hand at the nearest server, her throat was in much need of refreshing whiskey. Which was why she had opted for this bar instead of the usual low end places that she frequented. While they normally had the crowd that she liked to immerse herself in, they didn't carry the quality of whiskey that she had need of tonight.

A male server approached her only to be waved off with the simple order, "Whiskey..and keep it coming!"

Once the server left, Treskri allowed herself to slightly relax and once more take in the people around her. Her bright red eyes kept going back to one particular individual, most likely because of his bright and quirky looking clothing. She couldn't help but smile at the mixture of a checkered vest and a striped shirt. Not to mention the bright purple cloak he wore...that was definitely an eye catching item.

She was rather stunned when a person suddenly appeared sitting in the chair next to him. She glanced around in shock trying to see if anyone else had noticed the sudden appearance of the fellow. Was he real?? Or was he something else altogether? Before she could squint to get a better look at him, her attention was draw away by the server when he arrived with her mug of whiskey.

"Your beverage, madam." The server said with a pleasant smile, placing it on the table in front of her. Before he could leave, she grabbed the mug, downed the whole draught in one gulp and slammed it back down on the table.

"More..and keep 'em coming." She replied, wiping her mouth off with the back of her hand and tried to peer over the server's shoulder to get a better look at the colorful fellow and the new arrival.

Someone entering the establishment had him glancing over and noting their appearance. He was interested for a moment, but found his gaze being drawn to a group of drow by the bar. They were being generally loud and obnoxious, typically drunk. When he dragged his eyes away from them, the other drow had vanished from near the door. He could have looked for her, but he shrugged returning his attention to the illusion sitting with him.

His eyes drifted over the face of one of the drunks at the bar and he started to construct it before him with a little crease between his eyes. He flicked his wrist irritated dispelling the entire thing when the outline became a little fuzzy before his eyes. Why was it one and not the other, he knew that from a distance no difference would be seen. Up close though, as might be necessary in certain circumstances it was very noticeable, unless he made his image wear a cloak. Objects had never been a problem, but people, they were a big problem.

Div returned his attention to his surroundings eyes focussing once more on the loud group by the bar. They really were being annoying, but he supposed that was normal when people were drunk. He himself had been in that state more often than not. He took another drink from his cup noting it was nearly empty with a light frown. If only his illusions were real, then he would be able to make himself another one.

Instead, he called out to a passing server,

“Another drink please.” The server blinked at him and then nodded scurrying off. His own gaze seemed fixed to that group of drow at the bar. Did they have to be so loud? So…annoying?

A wicked grin took over his whole face and his ruby eyes sparkled with mischief as the beginnings of an idea seemed to form in his mind. There was one way he could get them to leave, well they should be scared at least. Ok so they may just turn around and attack his illusion, but it would still be hilarious to watch. There was no way they would guess it was him… well, there was little chance they would work out it was him… they were drunk!

He looked around trying to be subtle about it, but couldn’t catch anyone watching him. Just as he was about to flick his fingers the server reappeared with his drink causing him to jump eyes wide. “Thanks” He muttered looking a little guilty, but smiling anyway as the other male walked off. He didn’t really need to flick his fingers he just felt it was more impressive, all it really needed was a little concentration. He took a sip of his drink and stared at the bar narrowing his eyes a slight shimmer in the air the only hint he was starting to do anything.

Treskri's eyes were doggedly boring into the figure that was seated next to the colorfully clad young male, trying to figure out how it had just appeared out of nothingness. By all appearances..of the other's around her a few of had noticed it too and were quietly discussing it. Treskri strained her ears to hear what they were saying...and managed to pick up from a fellow at a table a few feet away, "...must be an illusionist..not too bad if I do say so...". This point was made accurate when with a flick of his wrist the figure disappeared into thin air.

This caused Treskri to sit up a little straighter in her seat, now more so intrigued by the young drow. She couldn't help but noticed his fervent glances over at the boisterous group at the bar, and grinned hoping that he would use his "gift" to enlighten the group a bit. That would definitely be rather entertaining if he did.

Treskri glanced up when the server returned and laid down a large pitcher of whiskey in front of her and gladly forked over several measures of gold saying simply. "This probably won't last more than half an hour..so keep it coming." The server rolled his eyes, but pocketed the gold and turned to go..only for her to grab his tunic and impede his departure.
"Hold on.." She passed a platinum to him and continued. "You might as well get me some food as well..I may be here for awhile."

This caused the server's face to brighten exponentially. "Yes M'am!" And then he was moving quickly to relay the order to the kitchen and the bar tender.

Treskri just grinned with a rather happy gleam in her eyes. She normally didn't partake of so much indulgence..but she felt she deserved it. She still had plenty of funds to keep her going for several weeks before she absolutely had to look for a new job. A little fun now wouldn't hurt. Especially since in her line of work one never knew when they would get another drink or if they would survive another day. Ah...the downtime of a surface raider was definitely full of fun and indulgence. More so than other job category.

Fallen Truth

He finally felt the full shape of the image he wanted standing right there before his mind’s eye. He did pause for a moment, before releasing it wondering if what he was doing was at all, even a little bit… reckless. He laughed to himself, no, it was the perfect idea. Alright so maybe not perfect, he rolled his eyes at his inner thoughts, it was a good idea, or at least it would be funny.

He was bored and well, he couldn’t help himself. He had to find something to entertain him.

“This is going to be good.” He muttered to himself and released the image blinking a moment. At first, it seemed that nothing was happening, but then it became obvious that something was not right about one of the males at the bar. He seemed larger than he had before and higher off the ground. His shape was also completely wrong.

It seemed to be taking them some time to grasp this fact so Div’eari decided to help them out making the image rear back front legs waving wildly. It was by this point very obvious that standing there in the place of one of the drunken males from before was a drider. A very annoyed looking drider.

There were shouts and a whole lot of fumbling for weapons, which made a slight snicker escape from him. The looks of horror that painted their faces were delightful. Mixed in with the horror was confusion and surprise. It seemed that it hadn’t occurred to them that there was no way that a drider could have appeared in their midst’s that fast. Thankfully, the alcohol seemed to have made their wits pretty slow, although he was certain they had never been that fast to begin with. Other patrons didn’t seem quite so shocked although a couple of the drunker ones started to stumble their way towards the door.

He found it harder and harder to contain his laughter as they started to attack what they thought was the drider. He almost felt sorry for their friend until he saw the man ducking down, slipping out of the illusion, and scarpering out of the pub, glancing back with shock to see what had been standing in his place. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. Although Div supposed a drider was much more terrifying.

He tried pushing a hand against his mouth to hold in the laughter, but it just kept bubbling out. It seemed that the group at the bar were starting to realise that they weren’t fighting something real. Instead, their weapons were slicing right through the air and were sinking straight through the image of the drider. There were some sounds of outrage, but Div didn’t notice this, his laughter starting to peel out from him ringing in the air. He also didn’t notice when the angry gazes started to turn in his direction.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 05, 2009 7:42 pm

Treskri watched the shimmer in the air behind the group, a very bemused expression on her face, wondering what the illusionist would choose to mess with their heads. She nearly howled with loud boisterous laughter when the drider appeared behind them, but held it back and took a long swig from the pitcher before setting it back down with a loud sigh of satisfaction. Things just got better and better.
It took a few minutes before the drider's appearance brought on utter chaos inside of the bar. Only Treskri and the two males who had been discussing he illusionist earlier didn't make a move for their weapons, though the tumultuous uproars from the rest of the patrons were quite enough to cause the two males to eye everyone in alarm before they rose and left the building. Treskri rolled her eyes at their fast retreating backsides. So what if the noise had risen? So what if the drider's appearance was going to cause a little fright and horror among the others? It would be entertaining..and if things did get out of hand Treskri knew she could handle herself pretty well.

Though..she couldn't help but notice the steely glares the group was now casting at the insanely cackling illusionist. Treskri grimaced alarm running through her. Their looks were bordering on murderous..and she wasn't about to let them mess with the highly entertaining illusionist if she could help it. She rose from her table and plodded across the creaking wood floor purposely before laying a hand on the illusionist's shoulder.

"Mayhap you should pay more attention to the way things have turned out, young one. " She murmured..into his ear and then nudged his head slightly to where the group was now rising to their feet and walking over to them.

It was safe to say that Div’eari could be a little remiss when it came to his awareness. He didn’t notice anyone approaching him until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He stopped laughing eyes widening. The voice in his ear wasn’t particularly comforting either as his head was nudged towards the angry group of bar patrons who seemed to be looking in his direction. He arched one grey brow ruby eyes flickering to glance at the female who was he supposed helping him. She was warning him after all.

“To be able to call someone you have just met young one you must be very old. Otherwise it would make no sense to guess someone was younger than you.” His words were slightly tart, but his eyes returned to the angry looking group that was coming towards them, “Perhaps that is not what is important now.” He sighed in a woe begone manner eyes sparkling with not so hidden mirth, “Seems some can’t take a joke.”

He moved to his feet smoothly casting only one longing glance at his cup. It did seem he might be being chased out of Eryndlin even faster than he had thought possible. He was getting to be quite talented at irritating the wrong people. He smoothed his clothing trying to appear confident as his eyes swept the area quickly. He decided to ask the female that had helped him as she seemed to be pretty accommodating so far, “You don’t happen to know another way out? I am quite allergic to bar brawls. They are just a bit too wearing on my person.” Despite what might be a serious situation his eyes shone with barely contained glee and his lips were pulled into a cheeky grin..

He glanced at the main exit, “Though I suppose with a bit of quick footwork the front door is not beyond our reach.” He grimaced slightly at the thought of going any closer to his would be attackers. No need to incite them to move more rapidly towards him if possible.

Treskri sighed at the young male's words..sure she wasn't that old..but she was a good deal old enough to be his senor. "Well..thanks for that." She said with a scowl on her face...which abruptly disappeared at his next words. She nodded in agreement.
"So it appears." She rolled her eyes.

She moved away from him and eyed the mercenaries that were quickly moving towards them with murder and ill intent in their eyes. She glanced around the tavern and wasn't surprised to see the patrons had pretty much cleared out of the place and the tavern owner hiding in a back corner with no intention of taking care of the situation.
"I'm not about to run now. I paid good money for food and drink..if anyone's leaving it's them." She retorted, and then stalked towards the five men with a very pissed off look on her face.

"Hey..what's your problem? It was a joke. No one got harmed, and all's well. There's no need to gut a fellow who's trying to have a bit of fun. Don't tell me you weren't glad for a little exercise..I mean look at those gullets..you all could stand to do a bit of work on them." She said, her voice raising loud enough that the entire room was filled with it.

The group came to a stop, looking rather displeased by her loud tone and off color remarks about them. One or two of them actually glanced down at their bellies trying to figure out what she was getting at..as their stomachs weren't in any way fat or untrim. Treskri couldn't help but laugh getting a kick at actually getting them to look. It was rather amusing how stupid males could get once they drank too much.

Fallen Truth

Div found himself looking after the female more than a little surprised as she pronounced that she would not be leaving, That was some confidence right there. He found himself torn between the desire to get out of there right now, and not really wanting to leave this female, who had come over to him to help. He raised his eyes to the ceiling a little helpless grin on his face,

“Why am I such a trouble magnet and why do I have to be the only drow with a sense of honour?” He chuckled at his own words certain not everyone would agree with him on the second part though none could deny the first. If there were trouble anywhere he would be able to find it, it was a personal skill almost.

There was, however, no way he could just leave now this female was standing up for him. His pride as well wouldn’t allow it. He straightened cheeky grin firmly in place moving forward to stand closer to the female. Hearing her words he nearly winced, was it really necessary to incite them? They were drunk after all and probably not thinking too clearly, so they might attack her despite everything. He clenched his hands into fists as he eyed the males before them… this was going to hurt.

Despite his certainty that they were about to be beaten to within an inch of their lives he couldn’t dispel his grin or the glint in his eyes. He decided it might be better to try and reason with them, “I am sure you are all very tired and more than a bit worse for wear, would it perhaps not be best to chalk this down to a misunderstanding? Then we can all get back to our lives none the worse for wear.”

The drunk males blinked at him as though not understanding what he was saying. He supposed he did have a rather odd manner of speaking, but it suited his whimsical mind quite well. He hoped confusing them more might just get them to leave them alone, they might see them as too much effort, “This was just a prank gone wrong.” No, it had worked perfectly and the looks on all of their faces had been priceless, but he wasn’t going to tell them that, safer for his skin this way. “Why don’t we all just get along.” He had to try very hard not to laugh at that statement. They were drow! It would be nigh on impossible for everyone to get along. The males just looked more confused, but one it seemed had had enough and started forward.

As a fist went flying towards his face Div couldn’t help, but chuckle; he had been right. This was definitely going to hurt.

Treskri was rather amused when she overheard the illusionist's comment to the ceiling and then made his way over to stand at her side. At least he wasn't going to allow her to fight his battles for him, that was one point for him. Her eyes fluttered over the room quickly, eying the owner as he finally emerged from his corner and began to make his way over to the stand off. She could tell by the set of his jaw that he didn't want a fight to erupt inside his building..as a fight would undoubtedly destroy his bar.

Of course..reasoning with drunken brutes was never a smart thing, especially when they were already incited to a boiling point. Thus..she cringed at the illusionist's attempts to placate them with words. Definitely something they would not abide by. And her words earlier were not the smartest..perhaps if she played things right though..everything would turn out the best for all involved..well save the unfortunate mercenary group.

She could tell that the group were rather confused by the young drow's words, and almost groaned at his next words. Gods! One never, ever admitted to pulling a prank on mercs! What was he thinking? She could tell by his last statement that he was trying to hold back a laugh.

She wasn't surprised in the least when the fellow in the middle of the group suddenly lunged forward swinging his fist towards the illusionist's face. She had figured he would be the one to move first after all..he was the drunkest of the group and the least likely to go without a fight. She responded instantly..shoving the smaller drow aside and caught the thrown fist, using the other's body weight to maneuver him to the ground where she sat on him holding his arms behind him.

"Whoa big guy..I don't think you want to do that. And the rest of you..don't move or I will kill your friend." She spat, pulling a hidden dagger from her boot and pressing it against a throbbing vein in the drow's neck. "If you want to fight, we will take it outside. There is no need to destroy the premises because you're not thinking clearly through the alcohol that's muddied your thick skulls."

The rest of the group had started to move in response to their friend's attack stopped when she threatened their friend and scowled sourly down at her. Fortunate for both Treskri and the illusionist..the owner's bouncers showed up and did their job, escorting the rest of the group out of the tavern, while Treskri remained seated on the fallen fuming male. Once the others had been thrown out, did the bouncers come back for the other fellow.

"Nah..I'll take care of him." Treskri replied with a wide grin and waved the men away. "Now..let's have a little talk, shall we? Just you, me and fang here."
A wicked gleam came into her eyes as she caressed the side of the dagger fondly.

Ok so it had hurt… just not the part of him that he had expected. He blinked ruby eyes confused as he found himself looking up from the floor that his backside had collided with rather forcefully. Seems the female with him had shoved him out the way when the fist was thrown. He supposed he did prefer a sore behind to a fist to the face. Wouldn’t do to hurt his looks like that.

He watched impressed as the female subdued the male with little apparent effort. He knew he would have had a sight more difficulty doing the same. She seemed pretty capable from what he could see. He smoothly stood up pausing a moment to brush his clothes down wanting to make sure nothing had stained them.

Gaze inquisitive he watched as before his eyes the entire situation he had caused was dealt with. This had to be a first for him. Normally things never went this smoothly. He watched the female threaten the one who had tried to punch him. She had managed to control them all despite being outnumbered. Div’eari slid smoothly closer to her though not too close, eyes still on the group of males, just in case his help might be useful... what little he could do; he wasn't really a fighter per se. He saw the bouncers arrive and remove them, a grin on his lips.

The illusionist expected the female to just let the bouncers take away the male she was sat atop of, but arched one brow in surprise when she wanted to “take care of him” herself. He walked over to her side looking down with some bemusement and a cheeky glint in his eyes. He really should think more before he spoke,

“There won’t be a lot of words in your conversation if Fang there is a major participant. Seems as though it is not much of a talker.” He tilted his head to the side obviously curious as to what the female wanted to do. Div was often told he should learn when not to say anything, but his generally cheeky nature just wouldn’t let him allow anything to pass him by without comment, if it was at all possible. “I don’t even think that male could talk coherently now if you paid him, you seem to have scared at least a few decades off of his life.” He had to bite back a chuckle at that.

Div moved till he was crouched next to them and better able to see whatever was going on. He rested an elbow on his knee and dropped his chin into his palm, looking quizzically at them.

Treskri grinned at the illusionist's words, and peered into the warrior's fearful gaze with slanted malicious lidded eyes. "In that assessment you're right illusionist. Fang does tend to get a bit...too eager to play a part in one of these little games of mine."

Treskri lowered her face, until it was mere inches away from the trapped male underneath her and licked her lips eliciting a rather scared moan from her captive. She chuckled in a half insane manner, as she tried to figure out how she wanted to play with her new toy. Hmm...perhaps the illusionist would have some interesting ideas.

"You're probably right about that. He does look rather..scared stiff." Treskri laughed maliciously. "What do you suppose we should do with our new toy?" She asked, licking her lips again.

She leaned forward, licked the dagger's blade while studying the male and then stroked the whimpering warrior's cheek with the now wet blade. The bouncers and the owner of the bar were watching with a mixture of amusement and fear showing in their eyes and faces. While the owner didn't really want blood marring up his floor he wasn't about to try and extract her from his business. One never really knew how a female was going to react, and this one..by his own assessment was rather unstable in the head..not to mention mad.

Div’eari quirked a brow at her from where he was crouched beside them. He noted the look she gave the male beneath her and almost felt sorry for him. He himself was not averse to tormenting others, but well, it was more of an occurrence in some of the jobs he was given. His way was less messy than most and some appreciated that fact.

Seemed that it was best not to get on the wrong side of the female before him. He was pretty glad that she had appreciated his prank. It would have been a little uncomfortable for him he felt to be the one sat under her like that. He cast his gaze over the terrified male; he was certain he would at least be able to hold his nerve a little better than this one. He had some pride although she seemed frightening enough and pain was of course his least favourite thing....it was too real. He supposed he preferred his illusions too much sometimes. The thought brought a snort from his lips as he eyed the male.

He reached out a slim digit and tapped the male’s forehead with it seeing him blink eyes widening a moment at what flickered past his vision. All he had shown the other was an image of how he now appeared, but of the female’s blade slicing his throat. The male swallowed harder obviously afraid he had just been shown the future. It was easier to place images more directly into someone’s mind by touch.

Div looked up at the female shrugging slightly,

“I normally have a purpose when I deal with people like this, but in this case there are no questions he needs to answer. I show them what they fear most, but sometimes it takes a while to find it. They see a lot of unpleasant things before I get to the right one.” He allowed himself to collapse a little settling cross-legged now on the floor murmuring to himself, “What are you afraid of?” That was one thing that intrigued him endlessly, everyone always had a different trigger something that they hated seeing.

They would be afraid of other things he showed them and try endlessly to escape pleading and crying out, but when he found the one thing that terrified them most the cries from before would be like nothing. He had met a drow that had started screaming the moment he had poured light, bright and burning as close to what he imagined the sun to be as possible all across his gaze. There had been another who had cried seeing images of his family obviously terrified of them, but why, Div had no idea. He had not had the chance to ask that time.

He flicked one hand carelessly, “Do what you wish with him. He is already certain you mean to kill him.” He had no interest in tormenting strangers although this male had tried to hit him. That had happened in many places though and even more had succeeded if he tried to get them all back, it would take forever.

The novelty of terrifying the warrior was quickly wearing thin, but Treskri wasn't about to let him know that. She wanted to scare him and scare him good. What better way of doing that than to take him out back in the guise of disposing of his miserable carcass?
Lordy..this was almost too much fun, getting a grown male blubbering and frightened was rather satisfying..even if her heart wasn't into it very much.
She didn't know what it was..perhaps it was watching them mentally crumple under her hands completely helpless to stop her.

She turned to gaze at the illusionist when he snorted and listened to his words as he spoke. An evil grin..unlike any that had been on her face before encompassed her entire face..making her look like she were demonically possessed at the idea of messing even more with the unfortunate warrior's head.

However..when he flicked his hand carelessly and stepped back, Treskri couldn't help but frown at his utter lack of commitment. Her eyes narrowed at him and her lips poked out in a snarl.
"You are such a wimp. Fine..I'll finish him off out back, I wouldn't want to ruin the floor in here with all the blood that will be spattering out of his throat. If you want to watch you may..otherwise do me a favor and leave me to my work." She sneered, pushed herself up, and proceeded in pulling the warrior towards the back of the bar by his leg, while the warrior screamed in protest and tried to get away.

The owner and the bouncers watched her leave with rather uneasy expressions on their faces but didn't move to stop her. The fellow had after all..cause riots and fights in the bar on numerous occasions and they were not about to get in the middle of a female drow and her victim. They were too smart to even think of it.

Fallen Truth

He shrugged as the female narrowed her eyes at him seemingly displeased with his decision not to do anything. He didn’t see the point really…what would he gain? He might keep this female amused he supposed, but what did that really mean to him. She had seemed awfully delighted at the thought of him tormenting the male. Not that the thought of messing with the other male’s mind really bothered him much, but well, he would not take such glee in it. It was something he did on jobs and not the only thing. He was useful for a variety of jobs.

“I am not a wimp as you put it… merely a realist. There is no gain for me in tormenting him further.” He stood following her still interested in what this female would do with the male. She seemed to enjoy tormenting him, but would she actually kill him. He hadn’t even attacked her, but would she still dispose of him?

He trotted along easily after her noting the owner wincing as the male screamed a chuckle leaving him as he decided to be maybe a little helpful. The female had the other male by the leg and was dragging him out leaving him to scrabble helplessly at the floor trying to get a grip on the wood. If he did manage he may scratch the floor and Div was certain that would upset the owner as much as his screaming was.

Div casually swung his foot kicking the male smartly in the jaw allowing an image to fill the other as he touched him, although he was certain it might be a little fuzzy. He spoke softly voice almost gentle,

“Now hush. Where is your pride?” The male gritted his teeth obviously trying to stop his cries of fear tears streaking his face. Seems he didn’t like seeing an image of the Illusionist sewing his mouth shut to keep him quiet. It was not something he showed most people as he wanted them to talk and they knew it. It was pointless to sew their mouths shut; it was one thing he could not follow through on. This male would have been far too easy to break if left with Div’eari for any length of time and he shook his head pushing a hand back through his grey hair.

“This should be interesting.” A cheeky grin lit his features as he followed the female and her victim tipping a small salute to the owner and bouncers followed by a wink and a chuckle. This really was interesting. He wondered how far she would really go…
