The docks here at Wawanakwa serve a dual purpose. At the beginning of a season they're a happy place. A place of welcoming. A start to new friendships and alliances. A wake up call to the fact this isn't actually a 5 star resort (ha ha!). However, after the first few days the docks become a far more dreary place. As campers are voted out of the game (and thus off the island), they make the trip down The Dock of Shame to board the Boat of Losers and be taken away from Total Drama Island. And they can't come back! EVEEEER! (usually)******* [ The Main Campgrounds ] [ The Ceremonial Firepit ]

It was late at night, and being the tired little teens you all are you crawled into bed ready for a good night's rest. Hey, everyone could use a full 8 hours of sleep...yes, even you little rebel firepants. This, however, was not meant to be a normal night. It was midnight when you woke long enough to feel a sharp pain and hear an evil snicker before the darkness claimed your vision once more.
It was only several hours later when you awoke. But....wait...this didn't feel like your bed. In fact, this didn't even feel like indoors. Struggling against the groggy feeling you force your eyes open to investigate. It's dark, but you do manage to make out what seems to be a pile of teens much like yourself...some with the tranq darts still sticking from their behinds. You're all laying on what appears to be a dock, and in the distance you hear the motor of a boat as it zooms back the way it came.
Your sponsor is nowhere to be found. The bag you had packed to go to camp has conviently been dumped along with you. At least the people who picked you up remembered to bring it? The waters behind you swish ominously every once in a while as though something was lurking just beneath the surface. Occasionally a snarl can be heard from the forest in the distance. It seems like staying here with the others might be the best idea until daytime arrives.
Welcome to Camp Wawanakwa. You're all screwed. ~So what now? You wanted camp, you got it. Your stuck on this crummy dock until daybreak, so feel free to whine, moan, and complain. You're doomed dude. Do -not- leave the dock area, please just leave the other threads alone. ~I wanna RP my other Audio! : TOO. BAD. Only approved campers and staff are allowed on Camp Wawanakwa. Chris might be host, but he's also the show's -assassin- trained to kill anyone trying to escape or enter the island unauthorized. Do not tempt me. Your other Audio are not here. Your sponsor is not here. You are just RPing your camper. ~I don't have my camper yet! D8 : There are still campers arriving, and they will be brought over on the boat as they are colored and dropped off Sorry guys ;; we'll get them done soon!

"What the ******** ******** - " Rosa squirms out from under the weight of some idiot who seems to have been dumped on top of her. "Get off me! How - what kind of psycho would - god." She seems to be incoherent with groggy rage. She shakes her fur out, grabs her bag, and pulls it over to the side of the dock, bristling, sulking, and just waiting for someone to try talking to her.

Really, was there not a more dignified way to be kidnapped? 'Methi thought about this to himself as he groggily pulled himself to his feet. His ears twitched as he heard the complaints of another. His vibrant eyes looked to his foul-moouthed camp companion.
"I do not think cursing is going to change the situation. Though if it makes you feel better,... Far be it for me to stop you."
Promethius had brought little, however her made sure to retrieve his ratty bag before observing the pile of bodies still asleep. How many of these could he befriend, if any? Perhaps more importantly, who should he avoid? With all of them asleep, it was hard to tell.
He then sighed.

"The heck is this?" Helena bristled, looking around the dock. She saw a heap of other campers laying on the dock, some adorned in clothes so bright she had to look away and others that looked dangerous. Laughing nervously, this definitely didn't bode well, she picked her way through the other teens, sleeping or not. She cast about nervously, searching for her oh so important baggage. And she saw it, thrown haphazardly onto the deck, the strap hanging off into the water and the rest precariously perched on it, wobbling slightly with every step. "My games! Err, books!" She creid hurtling forward, grasping the bag with her forepaws as it slid further down. Breathing a sigh of relief she pulled it back up, delicately searching through it picking out books that had gotten wet, carefully shaking them above her lap and throwing the now empty book onto the deck.

But where, oh where was the AWEEEESOME host everyone had been forced loved to hear about?
Uh dudes. It's past midnight, he's asleep.
The only sign that Chris had been anywhere around was...well the darts themselves (because -clearly- he had a paw in that) and a nearby stick.
Allow me to set the scene. One amused host and one amused Chef, fresh from their joyride to tranq and gather the campers. Unfortunately this meant they were all asleep..which led to a very -bored- Chris. After poking at the campers and failing to arouse them with his "Cmoooooon, do something!" attitude, he threw the stick and stormed off to get some sleep. Hey, if -they- were getting sleep, he needed some too.
Sorry dudes, your dose of AWESOMEHOST will have to come later.

...Ow.
Groggily staggering to her feet, Ariel peered around. Where were her glasses?! She wouldn't last five minutes withou--oh, there they were. Scooping them off of the dock, she rearranged them onto her nose. Now she could see perfectly clearly, and all was right with her world.
Well, aside from the tiny detail that her rear felt like it'd been stabbed and she had a feeling her luggage wasn't exactly raid-ready.

Man. What a freak. "******** off," Rosa grumbled, and wrapped her tail around her feet, eyeing the oddly-stitched boy. As she woke further, it was beginning to occur to her that she shouldn't start this travesty of a camp by alienating everyone around her. That could wait till she figured out who deserved it.

Billy's paw twitched a little in his sleep. Suddenly he awoke and yelled, "No way that magic missile could have missed I had a +5 aim!" Blinking a few times he realized that he was somewhere different than his room. It didn't seem to be a dream either. He looked around and spotted his bag. He checked his vest also to see if all his good pen's were in there. All accounted for. He looked around to see some other teenagers getting up also. Was this the camp? Why would they be tranquilized then. He turned his head, hoping someone knew what was going on.

Methi flinched as the one he had spoken to earlier grumbled back at him. Dejectedly he walked over to one of his other waking companions, having spotted Billy's paw twitch. He jumped back, quite supprised, when the camper awoke so suddenly, shouting.
"A-are you alright?"

Billy looked at the other teenager and sighed a little bit. "Yeah, just waking up from a somewhat nightmare. Is this the camp we were supposed to go to? Because I thought that started later. I had this awesome campaign going..." He became quiet. He was talking too much again! This wasn't good for a hopeful DM.

Rosalina wasn't happy.
She was awake but her head hurt, so she continued to lie there for a while before deciding to get up and see where exactly she was. Luckily, her bag was just beside her and she pulled it towards herself with her teeth gratefully. This wasn't very funny either, where was she....and who were all these other people?
Oh well, shy mode, on.
Eyes merely blinked curiously at those around her, and she made no move to approach anyone.
Yet.

Methi looked around. It was still quite dark out, but he supposed that it was camp. Still, it was eerie. He couldn't help but feel his furr bristle as he could have sworn there were snarls coming from the forest.
"I would think so. Umm,...'campaign'?" Methi was not familiar with a great many games, but he was happy to have someone talking to him. If anything, it got his mind off the ominous feeling of this place,...and the noises.

Billy nodded. "Campaign is a term in D & D when the people playing D & D go on a particular quest or whatever and it takes a few or more meetings." He replied slightly happy that he could talk about D & D with someone even if they didn't know about it.

"And,..what is D & D?" Methi's bright eyes were full of curiosity. Normally his time ws spent deep in thought, reading, or learning. Well, come to think of it, he was learning right now so,..
Perhaps it was not so bad an idea, he would later on think, to make friends as early as he possibly could. It would make camp a whole lot more bearable. Being alone was something he knew all too well. It was fine sometimes, but when all around you there were others, and you could watch and see them interacting, laughing, playing, even yelling at one another, it could be unbearable. He really didn't want to spend the entirety of camp miserable.
"You can call me Methi, by the way."
