Open for posting for the cast, please wait until they have claimed their posts before you enter anyone else. - All signed up! Go right ahead and post. So, you'd like to be a part of the upcoming plot, hmm? You can sign up one of your existing characters to have a pre-established relationship with the main characters (or to get to know them!). We will also make a reference list of characters who'd like to play with the plot characters, and that list is open for anyone. However, being on the list does not guarantee that your character will get to RP with the character of your choice. That is up to the person playing him or her. Why are we doing this? Well, it can sometimes be difficult to get new characters established and ready for roleplay. This way we can help with the process, and have the added bonus of allowing your existing character have some kind of connection to the four Sentinels in the plot. It'll also help to establish the new characters a bit more firmly within the setting, and will make it easier for their new players to set up roleplay later. Please note: RP-staff will not contact you or set up any RPs for you. It is your responsibility to contact the players you wish to play with. The players of the plot characters will each post a little ad about what they are looking for in RP, and what kind of Sentinels they'd like to include in their characters past. Feel free to contact them with your offers. Rules- You may sign up as many of your Sentinels you like, but understand that you might not get to play in the plot with all of them.
- Only ONE of your Sentinels can have a previous backstory with these guys. We want to include everyone.
- If you've won one of the auditioned Sentinels your own characters can't have a backstory with that same character.
- Winners MAY apply to have a connection with other plot characters, however, if they feel they can handle the RP responsibilities.
- And no, you can't be their mate or secret lover or bestest friend... try to be reasonable when coming up with how they know each other.
- It is perfectly acceptable to talk with the owner of the Sentinel you want backstory with - in fact, it's encouraged because...
- The owners of the plot Sentinels have the final say in the matter.
- Even if your Sentinel knows one of these characters we can't promise that you will have the opportunity to roleplay with them during the event, that's up to the player who wins the character.

Drywood - Apothecary
Mate: Who'd be crazy enough to want to mate with Drywood? Oh... wait....
Mother: Tricky, since she'd have to be Chestnut.
Father: See above.
Relatives: Again, a bit tricky to accomplish.
Teachers, Minders: Gladly! Anyone who could remember Drywood's days as a quiet, likeable but always somewhat confusing fledgling might become curious enough to visit in case they hear of his engagement.
Friends: Drywood has friends. I'm sure. Maybe a fellow Apothecary or a medic, who agrees with his ways of researching... or something. Throw me an idea, I'm totally open, here.
Acquaintances: Most Medics and Apothecaries would probably at least know of him. At least as "that guy with the poisons". And there are probably a few sentinels that he has been able to help with his antidotes and other medicines.
Enemies: He's probably made some. Drywood has a knack for saying the wrong thing, and may have insulted people or otherwise offended them. Tails may have played a certain part as well, since she disapproves of pretty much all Sentinels except Drywood, and will actively try to intimidate and scare off those that she does not want to have around. Also, some Keepers outright despise him for what he does with the companion animals that he gets. He doesn't have the best of reputation... Maybe someone would like to try to get to him, or spread rumours or such.

Willowbreeze - Bard
Mate: None
Mother: A Deepwoods/Chestnut Cross, very well-bred and ladylike
Father: A Handsome Chestnut
Relatives: Hazel, otherwise open to Chestnuts, maybe Deepwoods. She has at least a few siblings.
Teachers, Minders: Raised by parents and Hazel, but teachers are welcome.
Friends: Friends are most welcome, although Willow is closer with her female friends-- She knows she's 'taken', so she is unlikely to have an flirtations or close attachments with males.
Acquaintances: As a bard, Willowbreeze is probably known, at least casually, by many. They may recognize her for her lovely voice.
Enemies: Although she tries to avoid any outright feuds, some sentinels might find Willow prissy, standoffish or cold. Others may disapprove of her abberant status. She may have rivals among her siblings, since she was considered the 'best' of the brood.

Relatives: His father is still alive and he has six daughters.
This is where you can help:
Teachers, Minders: Minders of the Enclave where he sometimes tells his inspirational stories. An old teacher might also be interesting but he/she would have to be rather old.
Friends: Older sentinels, mostly, but also relatives of his friends (pretty much open to anyone just as long a good back story is planned beforehand). Other minor types, Wildtypes and Keepers are preferred.
Acquaintances: A good part of the Chestnut community as well as sentinels of any type that have asked Holly about their family tree, ancestors, opinion on a certain pairing, etc. Keepers are also welcomed as well as fledglings under evaluation or enclave residents.
Enemies: Anyone (any type) who might've been paired with someone they didn't like on account of Holly's advice; Fools in love...

Here are some ideas for anyone interested:- Two fledglings (male and female, one could be NPC) of different types get a little lecture from Holly for being inappropriately close.
- A fledgling hears a little story at the Enclave
- Someone with very different views comes to have a chat.
- A Keeper comes to chat about breeding and genetics… and ends up ranting about that crazy Chestnut apothecary who does horrible things to poor defenseless companions.
- One of Drywood’s minders may have something to say about him.
- Someone comes either alone or with their children to ask about the family tree or some interesting stories concerning their ancestors.
- Someone who is being paired for “political” reasons might be looking for an alternative.
- Someone who has been paired by Holly can come and say how happy/miserable/frustrated they are

Name and task of your character: Linnéa (known as Granny to most Sentinels), Teachers.
Sentinel he or she might already know: I suppose she could have a back story with any of them, really.
Sentinel he or she would like to meet:
This is how they could know each other: She could be an old teacher, a colleague to Hazel or possibly a distant relative since she is a Deep Woods. And she's ooold.
It would be neat if this would happen:
She's mainly up for backstory right now, but when I'm back in about two weeks I'll be available for RP too. PM if you want to plot something. I'm back. PM me to set up things.

It would be neat if this would happen: She could come to him to trade for some of his special drugs or for some other apothecary stuff, then she could give him some advice about what females want. Since she is a female and all...

This is how they could know each other: Ashton is currently pretty much homeless, but he always enjoys a good brawl. He might have started a fight over someone else’s territory… and lost pathetically. Enough for a grudge. Or simply, Hazel could have been his Teacher.
It would be neat if this would happen: Active (and hopeless) attempts to meddle with the matchmaking. I’m available for roleplay at last now!

It would be neat if this would happen: I like to just let it happen if that's alright. No plans, so I'm up for anything. As it's a breeding of pure and also mixed, Sly would have something to say about the matter, being someone who believes pure is the only way to go.

Name and task of your character: Foxfeather the Watcher
Sentinel he or she might already know: Any, really. He's a determined, typist Watcher and likes to make a point of knowing everyone's business.
Sentinel he or she would like to meet: Possibly Drywood, but any would be good. <3
This is how they could know each other: As said, he's a busy-body Watcher who likes to know the dirt on just about everyone. He takes his task seriously and is determined to prove his worth to the Forest. He is also a bigot, who believes in sticking within your own type. In his mind, Deep Woods is second only to the Wildtypes and mixed bloods are something to be frowned upon.
It would be neat if this would happen: Friends are few and enemies with someone or another would be fun. If you have any ideas, just let me know! I'm up for anything.

It would be neat if this would happen: He's a friendly busy-body, but is also an aberrant, so there could be some problems or friendships. Anything in the like.

It would be neat if this would happen: Silverbirch gets to know a little of her family history, whether it's pure or mixed. Also some character development in terms of her feathers, whether which parts are dyed and which are not, as well as her tufts, whould be interesting.
