Welcome.
We are all very glad to have you here!
Settling into a new guild always has the potential of being a daunting task. This is why this marvelous step-by-step thread has been created to help YOU settle in HERE. We want you to be as comfortable here as anyone else so don't hesitate to ask questions. It is best to direct those questions to this thread or any of the Crew members you see on the Member list.
Firstly, I'll assume that you read the RULES on the home page, but in case you didn't please do click on the link provided.
Secondly, Introduce yourself HERE. We're friendly enough that we won't bite unless provoked so please, introduce yourself. Tell us why you're here, what you're looking for, and what kind of Role-plays you enjoy the most. Feel free to share any juicy details as well if you're in the mood for it.
Thirdly, please attend the Role-play classes 101 and 102 that have been provided by our dear Hikari Aijuntai. No matter how experienced we are we always have the capacity to learn new things! When you're finished with them, compare your new-found (or refreshed) knowledge with the final exam
Please also keep the following in mind:
Look around at the subforums that may interest you for RPs to join. Each RP has it's own subforum, much easier for you to find which RP you're looking for!
Don't see something you like? SUGGEST it in this thread.
And finally, bring your friends! The more the merrier I always (mostly) say, so please do invite your friends to join. POST in this thread the usernames of those you believe to be great assets to a guild like this but please include an example of one of their RP posts. Feel free to include names of those you've met randomly in Barton Towns as well as long as you believe they would be interested in joining and be a great part of the guild.
Along those lines don't forget to link OUT.

[ - ] Rules[ - ] ONE PG-13. Not PG-16, PG-18, and certainly not R. Gaia TOS demands PG-13 content. What is PG 13?
Quote: A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning to determine whether children under age 13 should view the subject, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 subject may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated subject generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 subject, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A subject’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. TWO Be Literate to the best of your abilities. No l33t speak, no one-liners, and please check your spelling. Do not use ** for action and place "" around all dialogue. Use italics for thoughts. THREE Check your surroundings. Take note of what subforum you are in, and do not mix them with another. The genres are separate due to wisely made decisions by your crew, so abide by our ways and we'll stay friends. FOUR Keep the OOC speech to the discussion forums for each designated RP or to the main Subforum. Each and every RP will have an OOC thread for its use: to discuss issues such as god modding, character puppetry, and anything else concerning the RP but not necessarily the RP characters. FIVE Auto-hitting MAY BE allowed in moderation per RP. This is commonly left to the discresion of the mods though RP masters/handlers/creators my also make that call if it is a fair decision. Use common sense. If there is disagreement over it then bring it up in the discussion thread, and if necessary, contact a mod about it. SIX INTERACT. Interact. Interact. The key to any role-play is interactions with others. If you have not interacted with another character in the Role-play by the end of your post you WILL be ignored - UNLESS you are RPing out a pre-arranged scene with another member.

Breaking Rules:
1. The first step will be one warning. This warning will come via PM from either the guild Captain or one of the Vice Captains, and will state explicitly that you have been warned. If your behavior or actions are leading you in the direction of a warning then you may be approached by fellow members in an attempt to steer you clear of this, so keep your mind open to criticism and suggestions.
2. The second step is a second warning, also through PM. At this stage certain restrictions and loss of privileges may be considered in conjunction with your offense.
3. Third warning. This is the last will get. You will be PMed with a history of your warnings, the history of which will be kept in the Crew chambers. Restrictions and loss of Privileges will most certainly be stripped and you will have to redeem yourself.
Anything past a third warning will be automatic expulsion from the guild. There will be no fourth warning, only a Ban with a up-to date history of your warning records. You get this far and you will be black-listed, not allowed into this guild and it is more than likely its affiliates will not look kindly upon you either.
