Someone treating someone or something without respect.... I suppose that covers alot of ground but everything that it covers makes me ill with disgust, respect is so important and we're losing it every second now. Like you've been saying people not respecting the earth and throwing trash on it is very disgusting and disrespectble to the earth, and everyone on it including themselves.
Ya... sorry for that small rant there but I mean what I say ^_^;

The majority of humanity. The part the isn't like the people in this guild, mainly. The world is a beautiful place, and people just want to tear everything down and cover it with asphalt and concrete. Such action has made it necessary. What a sad state of affairs.

Expressions of disgust, hatred, and/or annoyance rather than doing something positive. They only add to the negativity, and do nothing to improve the situation.
...especially when the hatred/disgust is directed toward other people- that just alienates others from the movement, and gives us a sense of antagonism which really isn't helpful- since those "other people" are usually the folks we need to reach the most.^_^'

Mostly the same as everyone else has said...Though I do agree with Weben, we should look more optimistically to the future and try to reach out to those who have different opinions about the environment from us. Hopefully none of us will become eco-terrorists. gonk

Beer cans laying all over my gorgeous campus in the morning. Especially bad on weekends or after a big party or something. Otherwise it's more off the beaten path, which annoys me even more, really, because when I go wandering out around the lake and into the woods, I don't want to find piles of beer cans under every bush. *shakes head* Damn college students.

Yeah...I used to live right next to a forest-y area...People who lived on the edge of it would just toss their trash over the fence into the forest. mad It made me mad.

rikuHEART Yeah...I used to live right next to a forest-y area...People who lived on the edge of it would just toss their trash over the fence into the forest. mad It made me mad. same I hated looking down the side of the fences and seeing nothing but trash... but they tore down the forest... so it's not so much garbage...? I agree with you weben, but this could also be like things that we hate and can be changed... I know it's putting people down not to pleasent a thought but I suppose this could be considered just venting... we all do.

It disgusts me MOST, what Americans did and STILL do to Native Americans. Such a BEAUTIFUL culture and there's been a huge lack of respect for them.
Food production also HIGHLY disgusts me. Friggin pesticides, torture and general lack of compassion and RESPECT to living things. S'why I buy organic xd

Yay, Kappa! xd
I was walking outside my school the other day and I saw all these lunchables wrappers and paper bags just blowing all over the grass. And we have a wildlife habitat right next to our school (it's really our neighboring school's, but I visit it all the time. whee ). The wildlife there could have eaten that and choked or something....

That's why many (if not all of us) here take part in helping the environment actively.
