We all knew The Whysp was gonna enter this! I love contests more than battles so this was sure to be happening sooner or later. Anywho, here's my entry for a Kanto region Contest Champ.

Voice: Dark, smooth and somewhat seductive

Description: Flash loves reading books, particularly tutorials on new forms of swordplay. He can almost always be seen with a book titled "Make Out Paradise" tucked into his belt if he's not reading it. He tends to draw manga in his free time, when he's not practicing using his swords in conjunction with his Pokemon, though he'll never let anyone see what he draws. That is due mostly to the...er..."compromising" nature of many of them. He refuses to wear any color that isn't a shade of black, purple, red or silver.

Name: Karen "New Age Beauty" Scott
Age: 15

Voice: Light and airy

Description: Karen hails from Lilycove City in the Hoenn region. She has been raising her pokemon since she was 5 years old and rose to fame quickly through pokemon contests. On a more personal note she higly enjoys Ballroom dancing. Dancing helps her relieve the stress that comes along with being a champion, not to mention the stress of constantly running from fans. Karen has a calm personality that is hard to get her to break. She is however slightly vain because of her beauty.

Merryweather Orwits

Okay, for a physical description…think a young girl of Merryweather’s age. Dresses, dolls, and cute-looking pokemon. That is the basic for Merryweather’s personality and physical description.

Here’s the long.

Merryweather is blond, green eyed, and short for her age. Her skin is the kind of tan that you’d expect on a child who’s been out playing in the sun: not totally perfect, but still there. She looks like a little imp, cute and innocent, like she should be running around causing mischief. However, she does not. Mary-Jane black shoes are her favorite, and pink dresses are too. She usually has her hair up, when in contests, in two ponytails, with feathery pink scrunchies around them. I have a hard time explaining how little girls look, because they all look the same to me...Thank god for tektek!

Okay, the personality of this little girl is a bit…odd. She is like a normal child, playful and innocent and perky, and such. She likes most people, being outgoing and optimistic and “Let’s all be friends!”-ish. That is, of course, if you don’t hurt anyone that she cares about, including her pride. At this point she turns into Satan incarnate. You can even see the flames bursting from her eyes, practically, with anger. She’ll start screaming everything she says, throwing a bit of a tantrum and hating everything (except for her, her pokemon and “Pookie,” explained below) that moves an inch. However, after she cools down (if she loses), she’s back to her normal self. This kid is kinda…bipolar. Not really, but you’d think so with the way she can go “Oh, pretty butterfly-HOW DARE YOU HURT MY LITTLE SNUBBY! *breathe fire*” Pretty much, imagine Jesse when she’s mad in the cartoon, but…you know, happy and cute when she’s not in Satan incarnate mode.

Now, Pookie is her stuffed rabbit. It’s ratty, it’s old, and she drags it around with her EVERYWHERE. She even brings it to Contests, to hold and chew on its left ear when she’s pissed.

Her pokemon were not caught by herself, but instead were given to her by her parents and Professor Elm (Totodile only for him). She trained them, and within a year of becoming a trainer, she was a champion in the contest ring. After all, who wants to beat a tiny little girl who can tear your head off? I wouldn’t.

Merryweather does tough contests, only. She tried the cute ones, but found that her pokemon were best suited for tough contests. =D What a juxtaposition, hm? She reigns in the Johto region, too.

(She has more pokemon, including a Jumpluff (Poof), Swablu (Cirus), and a Wooper (Lilly), but she does not use these in contests. Swablu knows Fly, and Wooper knows Surf, so she can get around.)


(I hope this is okay. I just love the idea of a little girl that acts like satan being a tough contest lover...XD)

Name: Sasha
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Description: Standing at an even Five foot tall Sasha isn't very impressive on her own. Wearing her Red Hiking boots, Skirt, Vest, and Cap over her black socks and shirt. As a Part time pokemon ranger she Has learned to rely on her smarts and intuition more than her physical strength. With her trusty Gardeviour at her side she has thought her way out of more situations than she cares to remember. Her transition from spunky rookie trainer to cool headed Smart contest master and pokemon ranger has been a rocky one but she loves what she does and would not change any moment of it.

Despite her Mature attitude she still has alot of kid in her but she doesn't let it out on stage. On stage she becomes a calculating genius and her shows are always breathtaking.

Name: Alexander "Lex" O'Hara
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Lex has large expressive eyes that are a brilliant shade of turquoise and are framed by long lashes. His wavy hair is the color of wild honey and reaches just below his shoulders when it's loose, though he prefers to keep it in a high ponytail. He is quite petite, even if he really was a girl. He stands at 5'2" and weighs 105lbs give or take a few pounds. He has a heart shaped face, pouty lips and a button nose. Lex thinks girl's clothes, in the norm, are cuter than male's. He doesn't have any one set outfit, though he seems to favor crop tops, camisoles, skirts and knee highs boots, in shades of purple, turquoise, blue, white and green. He always wears a heart shaped silver locket on a chain around his neck. Both of his ears have been pierced twice and he is frequently seen wearing earrings that match whatever outfit he happens to be wearing. Everything he wears is of his design. Lex is often mistaken for a girl on first, second, third and even fourth glance, and the fact that he is most often seen in female apparel supports this image.
Personality: Lex always tries his best to be a happy and optimistic type of person, and he can usually carry it off. He loves fashion, designing it, dressing in it, reading about it, and he's quite good at what he does. He absolutely loves cute things, be they clothes, pokemon or humans.
He is an insomniac, and it's very very rare that he ever gets a good night's sleep. It's in the dead hours of the night that he gets his most disturbing flashes of memory, and those are the times that he is most definitely not happy, bubbly or bouncy.

Name: Oceana
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: Oceana's hair is dark blue, it's usually kept in a ponytail and it reaches just below her knees when let loose. Her almond shaped eyes are azure blue. She wears a orange bikini with white spotches all over it and a matching wraparound skirt. She will usually go barefoot if she's around the water, but otherwise she wears a pair of white flipflops with orange straps. Around her neck is a circle shaped sapphire on a black cord and she wears and extra hairtie wrapped around one wrist.
Personality: Oceana moods can be as changeable as the sea itself, but she's usually very calm and mellow. She loves the water and water pokemon, and if she's away from the water for too long she gets really grouchy.
Occupation: Kanto Region Beauty Contest Champion
Pokemon: Goldeen, Dewgong, Lapras

Alrighty, it was tough, but we've got winners! =D If chosen, please post here with your choice of Pokemon for the RP, so we can keep track. Gold will be going out shortly after this post as well. =)

Also! We've decided to use ALL entries in the upcoming contest system. If your character was not chosen for Champion of a region, you will be seeing your character appearing as one of the leaders of the contest type you selected in that region. We didn't have any overlapping, so this worked out well!

Kanto:
Congrats to Song Riter227 with his entry of Keith Bander!
A creative entry, with even a bit of detail of Keith's past and family which was a nice touch to help explain his personality a bit. An interesting character, I'm excited to see this musician get up on stage and show his stuff as the reigning Champion of Kanto's Contest system!

Johto:
Congrats to AloneWithFriends with her entry of Merryweather Orwits!
I'm scared of her, personally ( D: ), but she was such an interesting character, she'd make quite the character when dealing with challenges for Champion of Johto. We'll just hope we don't make her angry... And hope she doesn't burn down the region if she's ever beaten for her title...

Hoenn:
Sasha_Yakushi won the title of Hoenn Champ with Sasha.
It was tough to choose the winner here, as both entries were good. ^^ Sasha and her team won out, so it looks like we'll see her as the Smart Champ of Hoenn. The Ranger turned Coordinator will have an interesting time as the champ, but we have no doubts that she's up to the challenge!

Sinnoh:
Catonia won this region with her entry of "Lex" O'Hara!
The colorful character, interesting details (and quite spiffy fashion sense) won out for Sinnoh's challenge. The added art was definitely cute. ^^ I really got a sense of character for him, and thus, Lex will have plenty of time to strut his stuff as Sinnoh's Champion and designer of clothing. We just hope he won't be too tired out from the lack of sleep. <3
