The crowd is settled into their seats, murmuring amongst each other.
Suddenly, Travis Nightsky's theme music blasts through the arena, and in turn sends all the fans to their feet! Travis runs out onto the stage, dancing around and smiling. Pausing, he gazes out into the crowd, taking a moment to absorb the adoration of his fans. He swaggers down the ramp, high-fiving members of the crowd and giving a few better gestures to the attractive ladies he sees.
"Making his way to the ring, from Chicago Illinois, TRAVIS NIGHTSKY!!"
Travis slides into the ring and jumps onto the middle turnbuckle, pumping his arms and yelling out into the crowd, getting them pumped. He blows a few kisses to the young women in the audience, then jumps off the turnbuckle. Travis runs and bounces off the ropes a few times, stretching his legs a bit. He then removes his shades and jacket and slides them out of the ring while waiting for The Rock to rear his shiny head.

. . . .. . is cookin' . . [ And his opponent, from Miami, Florida .. ][ Weighing in at 245 lbs. .. THE ROCK!! ]======= It was The Rock's return to Friday Night Smackdown-- er, Fate after a long hiatus! Arrogant, The Rock made his way on out into view of the fans, decked out for his match tonight with Nightsky. Pausing at the stage, The Rock stared Nightsky down from there and bounced on his feet before making his way on down. The boos and cheers cascaded down on The Rock .. but fell on deaf ears. All that mattered to The Rock was that HE knew that he was THE MAN. Heading up the steps at a corner of the ring, The Rock pulled himself onto the second level of that corner, raising his fist into the air overhead! Flashbulbs fired off as a response, all catching a bit of The Rock on camera. Dropping down to the apron, he ducked into the ring and walked on past Nightsky, moving up the opposite corner. Raising his fist high once again, The Rock would just take it all in. Like it or not, he was still the Most Electrifying Man in Sports and Entertainment. The lights returned to normal, he returned to the canvas and just looked across the ring at Travis Nightsky. " This is what you wanted, right?! AN ASSWHOOPIN' IN FRONT OF THE MILLIONS, b***h! "

Travis said nothing to Rocky, and merely flapped his hand as the Rock spoke. If anything, this contest would just be a battle of arrogance. The bell rang, and Travis stalked back and forth, keeping his eyes on the Rock as he devised a strategy somewhere in his mind.

The Rock was rarin' and ready to show this punk-a** kid what was up. Nobody dissed The Rock while in The People's Ring. Spitting off to the side, The Rock lowered his stance, bouncing back and forth, eyeing him carefully. He raised his hands, motioning Nightsky forward for the lockup.

Travis approached Rocky with great caution. He wasn't about to take any chances and let the Rock get the early advantage, so as he closed in on the Great One for the lockup he sent out his left foot in an attempt to kick him in the gut.

That was actually what The Rock had in mind, but Travis pulled it off first. The kick to the midsection caused The Rock to double over with a grunt ..!

Travis smiled. He grabbed the back of the Rocks head and jumped up, hoping to bring the Great One's face down onto his knee upon landing.

The Rock's face impacted against Nightsky's knee and he stumbled off backward with a grimace, falling back against a corner of the ring ..!

Travis ran to the opposing corner, and looked back at the Rock. He pumped his arms to a crowd pop and charged! His attempted assault would now be to throw his entire body into a massive clothesline on the Rock in the corner.

Watching Travis take his time to retreat to the opposing corner, The Rock would burst forward in a dash to meet him halfway, attempting to cut him off with a big clothesline down to the canvas!

"Fu-" Was pretty much all Travis had time to say as he saw the Rock coming at him. He landed hard on his upper back, smacking his head on the canvas. He grabbed the back of his head and rolled onto his side.

The Rock knocked Travis down with a big smug grin on his face, tapping at his temple to signify his intelligence. He even started applauding himself, trying to convince the rest of the crowd to do so!
" Clap damnit! "
Turning around, The Rock attempted to raise Travis to a stand, trying to snap a hard right hand into his face.

Travis took the right hand. He stumbled backward a couple steps, before attempting to retaliate with a right hand of his own!

Taking that right hand to the face, The Rock flinched momentarily, only to answer back, attempting to snap a kick into the midsection to stun Nightsky for a second. If successful, he was going to try and lead Travis by the back of the head over to the corner, attempting to slam him facefirst into the top turnbuckle.
