Hello and welcome to the new and improved Intro page! This re-design will help you get a better understanding of what's going on in the guild, help you get started to jump right in, and also allow us to meet you!
For current guild news, you'll want to check out our monthly Guild Newsletter. You can create a gallery and show off your work, critique and comment on others' (so long as it's polite and positive), post your thoughts in any of the quiz forums, challenge yourself with our contests and artist challenges, and a myriad of other things.
Please don't forget, if there's something here you want to see. Or something you want added, let us know. Or feel free to add it! We could always use the help!
Also, just an FYI, we watch the number of posts each user has. Inactive members will be warned and then booted. We're not trying to be mean, but a lot of work has gone into this guild and a lot more is planned. This helps keep the guild active and lively and gives everyone additional incentive to participate. Plus gives your fellow guild mates the benefit of your input, thoughts, and ideas.

Hello I'm Vasalisa and I like making art. As soon as school is done this week I'll be on more. 3nodding It's also started snowing here again where I live, after it all melted bah! gonk I have one final project due and then I hope to post a lot more. I work in photoshop usually but that doesn't stop me from trying other mediums. Well see you all later I have to get to class.

And if you haven't checked out the resources under the Digital Gallery, you might want to take a moment and do so. We have free resources for graphic artists, and I have to update it with more as soon as I get a moment.
Which reminds me, I have to put the link also for a free program that converts .psp (Paint Shop Pro files) to .psd (Photoshop).
And I'll be adding my little bio today, when I've had java juice! lol! I'm exhausted right now..... We get the plane tickets Wednesday! We get the tickets Wednesday! They're cheaper than I tho-ought! *does sleepy gimpy happy dance*

Hello, all... I'm Asia. I'm 27 and dabble in several different mediums... Mostly I do digital painting and pretend photography.
I used to be a "senior" member, here... Went away... Now I'm back and don't know anyone except a few of you vets... But wanted to say "hi" and that it's good to be home!

So jello, my name's Lyss, I really am a "senior" member, being 31. Engaged to my love and best friend Eric (Lord_Seraph, who's doing the writing challenge), a gamer, geekess, graphic artist (once by trade, now no way.... blech). I also do minor web-coding, cook fairly decently, and spend my time working a vast amount of no minor miracles for people I know. I'm proficient in web-based research, so if you ever get into trouble, need some answers for something, let me know.
I do free IT work for those willing to learn how to do it themselves, and I've taught a number of people via the phone and 'net about fixing their pc's. Additionally, I do adult-oriented art work (none of which will be found here), have had writings published online, done work as a proof reader for people, and am pretty quirky.
I also like long walks on the beach in the moonlight, candle lit dinners (which I've never had one) and kittens. hehehe Just kidding.
Additionally, I do a lot of hands on art, crafting and making jewelery, and I hope to get back into scrap booking soon. I read a lot and can devour four or five books a month, depending on my schedule. I'm also a beautifully large woman, and think there should be more rotund ladies in art of all kinds, particularly fantasy-related. I also am politically active and fight what I see as injustices, support local food banks, and hopefully will get back into volunteering soon as well as learn how to forge weapons (you read that right) and make leather armor.
I have a back injury which I'm battling back from, but hope to learn archery this summer through the SCA, and perhaps sword fighting.
And I also like long walks on the beach in the moonlight, candle lit dinners, and kittens.....??? Uhm.... yeah... trying to think of things to say.
Oh I adore music. Most kinds actually. Including opera.

Hey! Umm well i am new and have a few intresting thing no one will care about Cx lol
I am a redhead from a long line of scots from the Chism(chisolm) and Lindsay clans.
I work digitaly on art and writing along with working with prisma colors on paper.
Cooking is a favorite passtime along with watching shows like House MD
I listen to music constanly; i have trouble sleping if i dont.
For my age i am quite intelligent, i do advaced math and LASS(language arts and soical studdies). Science is one of my favorite clases because i am a pure scienific thinker and atheiest(no offence intended to anyone).
I dispise homophobes for not understanding that love is love no matter what gender is taking part
My favorite animal is wolves
I am selfproclaimed and confermed by others; that i am not wholely sane but i am only dangerous when angered
i do martial arts and can kick shins out when needed
i use a mac book pro and run vista on it
ummmmmm yeah, i also am 12 years of age and Female with a tendancy to annoy her mother and lose her coputer for a week at a time
I am done spamming the page Cx

Awesome Yanicaru, welcome to the guild. You are a part of a clan that's cool, tell me more about it.
My family has kind of a strange history, I'm adopted into the family but it's still kind of neat. My dad has this coat of arms which he keeps in the hall. It's a yellow lion rampant on a red shield. Above the lion is a helm that's facing you and 4 acorns two on the top and 2 on the bottom. They originally lived in St. Ives, England. They came to the United States I'm not sure when but first were in Georgia and owned some kind of plantation but then ended up in Michigan.
I took fencing this last semester it was awesome, I would recommend it to anyone! I used to take Tai kwon do until our instructor stopped teaching. I would also be interested in Archery.

Welcome Vasalisa! I wanted to take a moment and thank you for all your activities around the guild. You've been great hon. A real blessing and asset to the guild. Seriously, thank you.
Yanicaru, welcome to you also! We're glad to have you! That's great to have another graphic artist in the guild. It's actually one of the few sections that's pretty much done in the guild! I'm Irish/Welsh of the Webb family. We still have tartans, crests, and other stuff. But since I'm from the poor white trash American side, it doesn't mean much! lol! Except that I can compete in the Highland Games if I want. ....Thankfully, I don't! hahahaha!
And no worries about your religious preferences or lack there of. As long as (everyone's) beliefs or opinions are presented in a respectful way, hey whatever. Part of this guild's mission is to have everyone from every walk of life and every make and creed and whatever. To truly represent art and artists, we have to have everyone. To truly create art, we have to open our hearts and minds. We have to explore subjects and topics that would be outside the box. We don't have to agree with them, and that's cool too. So long as it's all friendly. Personally I believe in God. And God and I have serious issues to be discussed at a later date, if that tells you anything.
Then again, I consider the term "commercial artist" one of the ugliest slurs in the language... Worse than the dreaded "f" word. So please, think freely and find inspiration in it!
When you guys start submitting stuff to us, let us know in the submissions form please so we can find you!
And sorry to cut this short, tired.
Welcome back Ak, we're glad you're here again! And no worries about the hiatus. Everyone needs one at some point. I trust that you'll be uploading your lovely works soon? (Hey, DA can't have you to themselves...) Perhaps one of a duck in a spooky hallway...? (Inside joke guys, though I still want one.)

Well, I'd first like to say HELLO!!! to all the new members. Welcome to the guild, we are all glad to have you here, and do thoroughly hope you all enjoy it as much as we do.
Now for my introduction. Hello new members. I am Eric, but you can just call me izzy (most other people do)
I am 21 (22 in about 3 weeks), I love anime, movies, music (because let's face it, music actually DOES make the world go 'round), drawing, painting (though most paintings come out as odd doodles), working with my hands to build things, and the soothing sounds of a waterfall while watching the array of brilliant colors that a sunset has to offer.
My love is Lyss (Rilriia Kilurden) and I love her sense of humor, style, and artistic concepts. She's great, and I hope you get to like her, as well as her art, just as all in the guild have previously.
Umm . . . . Wow, this is awkward, I have nothing left to add, and my brain is officially a squishy puddle of melted jello-icecream stuff.
Well, yeah, Nice to see everyone, and I do hope we can all get along nicely, and that everyone enjoys the guild. mrgreen

Val; hmm well i am fromtwo clans but really i am mainly from the Chislom side, i dont normally got to scottish events being in america and in one of the farthest places away from scotland posable and being low on money for anything but electronics i dont see the scxot part of my family much :<
Hehe i do tie kwon do <3 i love sparring, and i can use katana's, a bow a bit, and staff <3
Haha good, i dont want to offen anyone <3 i have some strong opinons but i will try to keep them to myself if they are offensive <3
