Vincent is the strong silent type. He usually comes off as rough to other people, and he likes it that way. He distrusts everyone, especially royals.

History

As a child Vincent was nearly beaten to death by a royal. Since then he has adapted a sort of "********" attitude. Which is why he moved into seclusion. Last year on a very wet and rainy night Vincent discovered Kait. Feeling sorry for the outcast he took her in.

He wasn't sure how to feel when Kait began bringing Exire around. Having Kait around had never bothered him but the presence of another Noct set him on edge. Still, eventually the two began to grow on each other.

It wasn't long before he noticed Shatara lurking about. Vincent watched the boy quietly and pieced togther what he was after. Knowing that Shatara was a part of Kait's past and he had no right to interfere he let things play out, however, he did his best to shield her from getting hurt.

After all of the bumps, bruises and hurt feelings on the part of all parties things settled down for a bit. He and Shatara expand on the original framework of the shack to add room for the new couple, as well as a guest room and room for any children that may come. Which was probably for the best, since, on yet another stormy night another member of the little family joined them in much the same way as Kait.

With such a growing family Vincent decided to just clear some room and build a place for Kait and Shatara and their children who were on the way.

History

Kait was born to a family of gypsy's, who rose in a revolt against the local royals. After spending most of her life on the run, she became ill and was left behind to die so as not to slow her family down. When she came to, she was in Vincent's care, with little memory of her life to this point.
After a few months of staying with Vincent, she ran into [literally] Exire. She was fascinated by his vast knowledge of blood. Since then the three of them have spent alot of time together.

When Shatara came into her life, for what she thought was the first time, the two of them had problems getting along. Although she harbored deep feelings for him, she could never find the words to tell him.

On yet another rainy night, s**t hit the fan in the small shared home. Things were said and feelings hurt, but the end result was the beginnings of a relationship between Kait and Shatara. Slowly with his help her memories came back to her.

When Jacob joined the family, Kait was elated to take him in and act as a surrogate mother. She did her best to raise him not to make the same mistakes she did, and to be un-biased toward royals.

She was more than a little disappointed when he came home broken and bloody. Still, she harbored quite a bit of pride knowing that he had done it all to protect Shatara and her.

History

Feirun was born to a fairly well off family loyal to the royals. He enjoyed his life and causing trouble for his easily frazzled mother. He soon realized that he didn't age like other children he played with. As his close friends grew to teens and later adults he stayed trapped in a child-like body. He lashed out in anger, going so far as to try and kill his poor mother. He blamed the whole ordeal on his parents desire to have something "cute" like the royals.

Personality
A normally quiet and withheld teen, Jacob prefers actions to words. He's facinated by dead things [possibly a side effect of spending time with Exire] and has a serious problem with authority figures. Growing up as the child of two outcasts, he hates the royals with all his heart.





History
Abandoned in a clearing near the ever expanding home of Vincent, not much is known about little Jacob. Kait and Shatara have taken him in as their own child, but his upbringing is turning out to be a family affair.
Jacob is very fond of everyone, but he seems to enjoy Exire's company most, likely because of their shared odd fascination.

When he was younger he had his first run in with authority. A group of vigilantes loyal to the royals swept through searching for outcasts and the like. Jacob took a stand in order to protect Kait and Shatara, who he has come to consider his own flesh and blood parents.

As a teen, Jacob had his first violent encounter with a royal. While taking an odd job in order to help out with costs while Shatara cared for Kait, he let his mouth get the better of him. Tired of hearing tirades about how filthy and worthless the outcasts are, Jacob started a fight that resulted in a permanent scar over one eye.

As he has grown his relationship with Exire has become complicated. He isn't sure what his feelings are toward his idol anymore
