So, Harper's Island is a new murder mystery show on CBS. Murder mystery, meaning that there's one murderer and people are getting picked off each episode (not like a detective show).
I thought that people might like to discuss it!
So, theories, opinions, etc?
(The first episode's available on CBS.com, and later episodes will presumably be added when they air.)

I think we can rule out JD as waaay too obvious a suspect, that's for sure. I think it might be the ex-boyfriend, but could he have killed cousin Ben? He was on the island, and I think it would have been a little hard for him to sneak away and back. Chloe certainly seems to have the necessary lung capacity to tie a guy under a boat, but the killer could have used scuba gear so that's not much to go on. (Side note: her boyfriend's the first guy with a British accent I've found unattractive. D: ) I think it might be a guy, because it takes a lot of physical strength to cut a guy in half in four strokes. We've got to think if these killing have motive or not. And if they do have motives, then why kill cousin Ben? It wasn't to send a warning, since no one found out, but if it's not a psychopath then there must be some reason.

I liked it, I don't know why anyone is hating it right now. A few things need to be taken note.
There are 25 characters and they all need to be introduced.
It's a one hour show.
It's on tv and the death scenes are not going to be that graphic.
I think people should start making opinion after a couple episodes, not shooting it down right away. I like it.

I've been seeing previews for the show on the Gamestop TV at work and at first it looked okay, but now it just looks stupid.
It could have something to do with the fact that I'm tired of seeing it... but i doubt that.

Wow! I actually watched this. I hadn't heard of it at all, but I was hanging out with heavensark all day, and she wanted to watch it~
It was alright, I kind of liked it!
I want the annoying b***h who's mother was murdered on the island to die. She's a real pain. I'm sure they'll keep her around atleast for a little longer.
I kind of think it's the guy she keeps flirting with that's the killer.
Not the groom, the one from the bar?

I loved watching her stumble around for a while and then fall into one of those traps...and then be set alight.
It makes you wonder... didn't she learn stop, drop, and roll or something like that? She just spins around screaming until she dies.
I kinda wish a bigger suspect was killed or something, they weren't major characters. The Socialite, The Elderly Priest, and The Lone Survivor are kinda characters you expect to die. Couldn't they mix it up a bit and kill someone like JD or Chloe.

A main character death is probably not likely, at least not for a while - they're the main suspects, after all!
What's interesting is that the murders are being hidden. Except for Kelly (who it looks like suicide anyway) none of the bodies were found and none seem likely to.
I don't like that it seems to be shaping up to be a crazy psychopath. I like motive. But I can't see how the killer could anticipate exactly which party guest was going to wander off, especially with multiple people doing so, so the socialite couldn't have been too terribly planned.
Where the heck is the cab driver from last week, dammit. You don't give a character a freaking eyepatch and have them go away forever. It's probably him D:

Anyone else ABSOLUTELY sure they won't kill the little girl?
She knows more than she puts on...
Maybe she is the killer...
Yeah I know...not gonna happen.
The little girl (Madison, I think) has an important part in the plot, I'm just not sure what it is.
I (also) think it might be a big prank by that event manager... Ha ha... the jokes on the girl who committed suicide.
Who Knows? (Other than the killer(s))
