According to sookiestackhouse.com, which reports a lot of information on True Blood (Deep rant to come, actually), season 2 will stray quite far away from the books. Including:
- Terry x Arlene

Might I ask why January's name is in the title of this topic?
And I can see the Terry/Arlene hook up, although I don't think it will last. They probably just go on a few dates or something. Nothing to big.
You also have to remember that they are not turning the books into a television series. True Blood is just based off the books in part, not in whole. I know your pain though, when they screw things up that you really wanted to get right it really pisses you off.
I'm really hoping that Jessica gets staked in the second season.
I've seen a picture of Stan though, he looks hot.

Ah, I see. Just wondering.
Yes Nyx, Stan was supposed to be dressed like a dork, but he doesn't look like one. The actor is really quite cute.

Can I be staked now? If you've been reading the last few books, then you would know that Arlene gets a new boyfirend (big surprise[/sarcasm]) that leads her to develope her own character.

OH EM GEE!!!
So I was just looking around on SookieStackhouse.com because, honestly, before I made this guild I didn't even know that site existed.
I was scrolling down the first page when I came across this little number. Abouse Season 2.
Over all it isn't very disturbing, however, mix it with what I read in a question posed to Alexander it makes me wonder just how much the True Blood writers are going to slaughter this book.Quote: Alexander SkarsgardHow are you playing Eric differently this year?Everything becomes more private and personal in season two. Season one the situation started out being kind of business-related, and his attraction to Sookie was “All right, I might use this.” But the stuff between them now is much more personal. He’s very much emotionally involved now. And I’m not just talking about his relationship between Eric and Sookie and Bill, but other things as well. A lot of the fans who have read book two, they know that the reason they go to Dallas is because Eric’s maker has gone missing. That’s a very, very personal quest for him. That comes from this article.
I'm not too sure how I feel about this. This could either be very very interesting or very very bad.

Yes. But they are replacing him with Eric's maker. Which could be interesting but I'm a little afraid of how this is going to turn out. I'm very nervous.

James Nyx Weren't they there because one of Stan's nest mates, Farell I think, went missing? Yes, and he was gay. Ever since Amazon removed the rankings on LGBT books, gays stopped being popular. But in all seriousness, I liked Farrel. He was funny, and was a snappy dresser.

Who wouldn't love a gay cowboy? I mean, he's got Brokeback Mountain written all over him.
I really really hope there is at least a shot of him in the series. Which is coming out in June! Yay!

I hope I'm not mixing up books. But I hope to see Eric dress up at the end to find out what happened to Lafeyette. That was FUNNY!!
