Love it? Hate it? We want to know.
Feel free to discuss anything about True Blood. And I do mean anything. What do you want to see in the seasons to come? What characters could you do without? Who do you think plays their role the best? Do you think the acting sucks or is it grade A?
Warning: Spoilers may follow.

I'm not going to lie, one factor was going to make or break the series for me.
Who was going to play Eric.
He's my favorite, always has been, always will be, and if the actor didn't look the part or played him badly then there would be no way that I could watch. So, when episode four came around I was pleasantly surprised. And that's putting it mildly.
I pretty much had a spaz attack the moment I saw him. My mom thought I was having a seizure. Lol.
I've got to say I do have a few problems with season one (Jessica, in particular. She's funny as hell but dude, where the hell did they pull that idea from?!) but over all I like it. I can't wait to get the DVDs.

The filler. Too much of it. With Tara in it, the characters are slowly going insane; Sookie is just about to have a mental breakdown, Bill is more...jerky than in the books, and Sam is deemed perfect, except for when he gets with Tara and becomes lice a lost puppy...hehe.
Also, I have to point out all the contradictions, which are, in white: Sam wasn't adopted, and has siblings. Tara has older sisters and brothers. NO BUBBA! crying He's good enough for a spin-off series.
Even with its flaws, I have to say, True Blood is a pretty good series, and the viral marketing campaign was epic. 3nodding

Again, it needs more Bubba.
Actually, so does the books. And life.

Not to mention Tara is supposed to be rather wealthy and white. Oh well. Although she isn't the same Tara as the books I really do like her. She's very highly amusing and reminds me of a girl I went to high school with.
But, sadly, I don't think we are ever going to see a Bubba. I think I read somewhere that they weren't going to add him in. It would probably be too hard to find an actor that looks enough like Elvis for audiences to make the connection.

No Bubba? *Whine* That's just... wrong. He's essential. And he interrupts Eric and Sookie, which just pisses Eric off, and as you know I'm all for annoying him.

I prefer the term "morally challenged" myself. Besides, it's not like the blondie hasn't had his moments.

Of course. You both have your moments of complete and utter idiocy.
Why do I put up with you?

Idiocy and being morally challenged are no where near the same thing. So don't even go there.

Kage_Komori Not to mention Tara is supposed to be rather wealthy and white. Not really. When I think of olive skin, I think of something like Brooke Kurr, the first actress slated to play Tara before Rutina Wesley.

But they might bring him in later. I don't know.

I thought of a way to get him in, and I could think about 7 more in practically no time.
