Nothing like recycling! XD
And to entertain and annoy/amuse us all, I've compiled several of my best quotes for our enjoyment!
Followed by some other people's quotes XD
We should have a thread for random quotes. That'd be fun XP
"What times are these, when the weapons of war seek only a means to cease their existence?" (Matsumoto Megumi [played by Emily Marneth], jounin, commenting on the shinobi's search for peace.)
"Patience is a virtue. Today's society just doesn't respect it." (Emily Marneth, in the WotN chatterbox)
"You will die for what you believe in. I will believe in what I die for." (Emily Marneth, in a philosophical discussion)
"If you seek what's sought, you'll see an end. If you seek to seek, you'll know the end." (Emily Marneth. Same discussion.)
"If I said something that made you think, then why are you still speaking?" (Emily Marneth, to someone who saw fit to interrupt her philosophical discussion with an insight to her last comment.)
"If you thought you might say something, then how is it that the cantankerous filth is spilling from your gullet rather than floating in the vacuum you call a mind?" (Emily Marneth. When that person defended themselves.)
" 'Why won't you stop wearing yourself out like this?' 'Because if I won't stand up for myself... Then who will?' " (Artemis Malia [Played by Emily Marneth] to her nurse. after being paralyzed from the neck down.)
"If life was worth living, we wouldn't be here, now would we?" (Emily Marneth, in a table-top roleplaying session, as her party entered the gates of Hell looking for a man.)
"To know oneself is wisdom. To know the meaning of life is intelligence. To know your place in the world, that is love.
I know myself. The meaning of life is to end, after knowing wisdom, intelligence, and love. My place... It's with you."
(An unspoken quote, from Emily Marneth to one she will never be able to speak it to.)
"If I said something... And it made you think... Would you by chance quit speaking!?" (Emily Marneth. Hey look, it's that irritating bystander again!)
"If you say that you can think without speaking, then it doesn't really prove much, now does it?" (Emily Marneth. Once again, they defend themselves.)
"I've always wondered... If I cut out your tongue.... Would it by chance stifle that incessant chatter!?" (Emily Marneth, upon that person defending themselves with an "I've always wondered..." comment.)
"I'll tell you what. You can keep watch up there, on that hill... And I'll take the dangerous job. I'll reconnoiter." A mercenary to his skittish partner, upon arriving at the brothel their target might be resting at. (Courtesy of Emily Marneth)
"Patience is like a gun. Those who have it use it, and those who don't get shot." (Emily Marneth, swapping lines of wisdom in a rapid-fire face-off)
"I'm not sayin' he's a liar. I'm sayin' he's so full o' hot air tha' if ye cut of 'is 'ead, he'd get 'eavier." (Lula Akuma [played by Emily Marneth], in outraged response to hearing the lie of a Hyuuga.)
"A man 'o can't stand up for 'imself... Is damn funny when 'e tries!" (Lula Akuma [played by Emily Marneth], upon defeating an egotistical warrior)
"Tell me... Is everything you say a lie, or is it just the things that aren't true?" (Emily Marneth, in another random conversation.)
" 'Do you always tell the truth?' 'No.' 'When have you lied?' 'Just then.' " (Emily Marneth. Yep. Random conversation.)
"If life gives you lemons... Punch the B*stard in the face and demand adequate compensation." (Emily Marneth, upon being asked her life's philosophy.)
"Pills for everything! Your dog died? Here's a pill! You can't get it up? Here's a pill! The sky is falling? That's just bad for business." (Emily Marneth, during a conversation about balancing pain medications.)
"Life is like a box of chocolates: Sometimes it's rough, sometimes it's smooth. But without the nuts it just never lives up to its value." (Emily Marneth, after someone abused the old Forrest Gump line.)
" 'Tell me something... Did you have a plan before you shot the hostage?' 'No. It just helps me think.' " (Emily Marneth, imagining an impromptu bank robbery)
Cigarettes: "Suicide can't have an advertising agency. It would be copyright infringement." (Emily Marneth, tobacco quotes competition.)
"I've always wondered whether the grass on the other side was greener. But I've never cared to look, as I've always been too busy keepin' mine red." (Lula Akuma's mother to her father, upon beheading a man in their front lawn [you guessed it. Emily Marneth])
"If you interrupt me one more time, I'm going to shove your head so far up your a**, you'll see the light shining through your nostrils." (Emily Marneth, to an interrupting bystander.)
"If you do not shut up, I'm going to shove my foot so far up your a** I'll wiggle my toes and erase your short-term memory." (Emily Marneth, when that interrupting bystander continued.)

Not nearly enough George S. Paton quotes, though i must say that Emily got like 5 brownie points with me for some of her quotes. Though she lost 2 for some of her other ones. Which means she has gained 3 brownie points, yay!

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived." -George S. Patton

Alright, this seems like an appropriate topic to put this in. I can't remember the name of a movie! I saw the first twenty minutes a while ago, and it seemed like a a good movie. And lately, I've really, REALLY wanted to see it. So in short i'll put up the quote or two i remember, and if ANYONE can tell me the movie they'll be great... I'll even throw 10000 gold in for the first person who can tell me, if it's the right movie of course.
These might be slightly different from the movie because i haven't seen it in a few months, but you get the idea.
"Everyone says they want a partner that's ******** up. However when people say that, they mean '******** up' as in 'Oh lets talk about it over dinner', no one can really handle the real ******** up. "
-talking to six year old child- "Listen, the character in our book isn't real! It's all made up!" "Hey man, she's like five, I don't care if you trying vent. Wa wa, my parents we abusive, get the ******** over it and don't try to make everyone else as miserable as you." ".... Santa Clause isn't real!"
Aaanyways, generally like the first quote, but i really want to figure out which movie it was so i can watch the rest of it and get the quotes right! If it's any help the plot was about two guys who made children's novels (one illustrated the other wrote i think) So yeah, hope my quotes help. 10000 gold to whoever can find me the answer first!

"Someday, people will learn to accept peace." - Kenshin Himura
"We once fought together for an ideal with our swords. It wasn't for power or for glory, but to create a peaceful world where people could live without fear. And, if you should forget about that, then what did we fight the revolution for?" - Kenshin Himura
"New eras don't come about because of swords, they're created by the people who wield them." - Kenshin Himura
"Shishio's logic dictates that the winner of a battle, in other words, the strong, is always correct, that it does. If the truth could be discovered by winning one or two battles, then we'd all go through life without ever being wrong. A person's life isn't so simple a matter, that it isn't. The true answer is something you find out yourself by how you live your life from this day forward, that it is." - Kenshin Himura

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Guess who watched Coach Carter today? Damn good movie! crying I want to buy it... *watched at friend's place*
Okay fine, the quote is really by Marianne Williamson.

...fell in love with this... ^_^ Not really quotes. It's a lullaby.
from the Musician's Score (Fourteenth Noah's Song) - D. Gray Man
And then the boy... ...fell deep asleep... The gasping flames within the ashes... ...one by one... ...rise up and expand... ...into that beloved face... Suspended from the Earth... ...thousands of dreams... On the night when those silver eyes trembled... ...you were born... ...shining brightly... Hundreds of millions of months and years... ...no matter how many prayers are returned to the earth... I shall... ...continue to pray...
