::A day off, that was just the doctor ordered. There was another bounty hunter working the area lately, so he couldn't take off for too long. He sat against a tree, his bag beside him, a cup in front of him, old and battered. He liked his bag. it was huge. on rainy nights he could sleep in it, if he didn't mind cramming in along side his sword and armor. His hunting clothes. Normally he kept other clothes around him so it was quiet in the bag. still a nice huge bag though. beat up, worn, but no holes... Just now he was wearing a dusty red hooded sweatshirt with the hoot up and holes in the el bows. faded blue jeans with frayed cuffs over bare feet. The dented cup was in front of his feat. his "Money for food" sign had fallen over and he hadn't bothered to pick it up. It had been a long time since he had been able to take a long lazy afternoon, he planned to enjoy it. Even if he was starving. Well, it was only a matter of time until some one gave him a hard tome over his eyes anyway.::

Narina walked the paved paths of the park in silence, listening to the sounds that flited through on the breeze. She smiled when she heard some children laughing and turned to see a group of them playing on the monkey bars. Narina sat down on a bench, pulling her small off brand purse up onto her lap. Inside she found her MP3 player and headphones, exactly what she wanted to supplement the beautiful day.

Torin sighed as he walked through the area quickly. He had to go pick up some food for his parents party tonight since (of course) they didn't buy what he needed. He was trying to go as fast as he could.... which was hard as Kin was with him.
"Come on Torin! Forget that party and just come stay with me. For goodness sake they probably won't even let you EAT any of the food you're making...."
"I know Kin... but I'm expected to.. so I will. Now stop trying to delay me.." He paused slightly as they passed a guy in a red hood, Torin dropping some money in the cup... and then grumbling as Kin started to scold him for doing that.

The sun was high in the sky, bright and luminous despite the scattered clouds. Nearby children were laughing and playing in the afternoon light. They were so innocent in their actions, their simple joy, they did not know the darkness that lurked in the world around them. But she did. LJ Tibbs had seen that darkness first hand more times that she cared to recount. Even now in her brief repose she couldn't escape the darkness...
But she needed the rest, however brief. In this city she found competition. It was just her luck this one went for the same kills she did, the real bad ones, the ones that had to be taken out. It was cutting in on her work, her money, and worse, was denying her the kills she needed.

::Franki breezed her way through the park, having slipped away from Iyashii and Kishi for a bit. She had all her hair piled up under a hat and dark sunglasses hiding her eyes as well as a heavy coat, hiding her figure a bit. She could have passed for a boy. Maybe. If the other person was as blind as she was. She was just enjoying the beautiful day and the bouncing auras. Right until she walked into a bench.::

Narina jumped up, "Are you alright? We could take you to the emergency room if you think you've broken something...Sir.' With the bulky clothes it was hard to tell whether the figure was male or female. The hair seemed shorter though, so Narina went with the more masculine choice.

Torin beamed "Your welcome! Glad I could help... KIN! Stop dragging me!" Pulling his arm back from his cousin.
"Out of all the things you were taught you choose to ignore the 'don't talk to strangers' rule?"
Torin sighed "Kin.."
Meanwhile Iyashii was running after Franki and groaned as she ran into the bench "Franki! This is why you need to stay WITH us.." Helping her away from the bench, giving a nod to Narina "She's fine... she does this a lot.."
Kishi landed on her shoulder in Raven form and cawed angrily at being left behind.

"Wouldcha look at that kid?" Chayne said to Torin, ignoring Kin. "Ever see such a well trained black bird? Some sort of pet you think? circus act?"

Narina turned scarlet. "Oh, well, if you're sure." She looked to what she now knew to be a girl. "I am sorry for calling you sir, Ma'am. But it is very hard to tell exactly what you are under that coat and hat..."

"Hmmm..." Tibbs frowned eying the spectacle across the park. "Apparently I picked the wrong place to spend a quite afternoon," she muttered to herself. She stretched her arms out and leaned back against the wide tree trunk that she sat in front of, always keeping an eye on the other park goers...just in case.

Torin blinked and looked over "I'm not sure... he looks to be well trained though."
Kin alternated glaring at Chayne and then glaring suspiciously at Tibbs. He wanted to get his cousin away from these people!
Iyashii shook his head "No not a clutz.. just not careful" He shrugged at Narina "You're not the first.. and probably won't be the last. So don't worry about it."
Kishi squawked in agitation... much to Iyashii's amusement. He was going to peck that guys eyes out!

Tibbs just smiled and waved at the guy, somewhat amused with the glare. He didn't look like much and from what she'd observed he just sounded like a pain...annoying, but not a threat.
