...you have conversations about the game with another kid in English class (cuz you both play it) and your teacher says "Harvest Moon the book?" You and your friend laugh and say, "No, the video game!" (this really did happen to me it was funny)
...you tend to play the game once a day or if you're too busy at least once a week. You have to play it at some point.
...you try to think of a good fanfiction for the game but it's too complicated and you have writers block.
...you dream about yourself being in the game.

You know you play too much Harvest Moon when
the seasons change and you expect different background music
to be playing when you step outside of your house.

When your in science and the teacher is going over a lesson on different climates and you write the names of the Harvest Moon towns/islands by the climate that fits them
When your friend who's never played Harvest Moon frequently asks you how your in-game husband/kid is doing.
When you have this conversation with someone:
You: "I'm really happy today!"
Other Person: "Why?"
You: "Cause It's raining! DUH!"
OP: "Why would that make you happy?"
You: "Cause I don't have to water the crops today!"
OP: "What are you talking about?"
You: "Oh... that's right...This isn't Harvest Moon..."

When you think if you talk to a hobo he'll say Moi every sentence
When you think all hobo's break dance onto their boxes (I swear that's what Murry did.)
When you think hobos lay on boxes not in them
When everytime you watch Ouran Highschool Host Club you think of Harvest Moon ToT because the characters look so much alike (I swear they do)
