Do you have a name and/or gender for your viola?
I don't think it's going to have a gender, but it should have a name by now.. I've had this particular one for, like, three or four years, but I just can't seem to think of a name to fit it. gonk  questing! helpiez?!

Mine is def a girl. I call her "Violy"...not very original.
My best friend and fellow violist named her instrument AND her bow. rofl Her viola is Stevie Bob and the bow is Carlos...I think.

I was considering naming my viola ... but it seems demented in a way, like, being attached to a piece of wood. xD
But not to offend anyone, seriously. I'm very attached to my viola. (: Just not to a point where I would name it and determine if it's male or female. xP

My viola is a boy and his name is Lelouch. I named my bow aswell. My bow is a boy and his name is Aster.

My viola's name is Adair. I love him, he's pretty though I'm not too happy with how his A string sounds. I'm going to switch it out, but I'm not sure what brand of string to buy.

My viola's name is Caramel Thunduh ;3
I named him that because he's a size 16 with caramel flames on his back.
I also named my bow too. He's name is Ditrech.
Also...do any of you sniff rosin?
