Okay then. Due to the absolutely phenomenal interest in the last prompt rolleyes , here's the second try.
Pick a line: Only in the dark can you see the stars.- Persian proverb What you see depends on what you're looking for.- Anonymous Don't ask, don't tell. Everything lies in silence. -Anonymous
Now write: A short story... or A poem... or The first chapter of a novel
And write it: In a format you don't normally use. (1st person, 3rd person omniscient...)
And include: A decision, a realtionship changing, and an object of realative perfection.
Point Value: ****
{This really should be challenge 1, but for continuity, we'll leave it as 2. The due date is 12 p.m. March 31. Submit to me via pm. Keep in mind that this is our experiment, so it's fairly open ended. Have fun!}

Thank you everyone for your dedication and beautiful writing this time around. I'll have April's challenge up within 24 hours, and, having read all of your pieces, I have high hopes. A side note: This time around, I you wish, you can place these on fanFiction or FictionPress (depending on the work, obviously). All I ask (not that much) is that you note that The Ink Well is a Gaian guild and that this is our March challenge and please don't break any serious copyright laws.
