March 23, 2008, she was diagnosed with cancer. February 13, 2009, she died. She was also my mother. That's the reason why she stopped posting. She was sick, very sick, and fighting her illness. I wanted to say something, but I didn't want real life troubles following me online. If you want, you can pay final respects to her on her profile page. mshonesty

I don't even know where to begin this time. It's hard enough knowing one of our friends here has lost a parent or a loved one. But to know one of our members, who has brought us smiles and joy isn't with us anymore, that's heavy.
Let us know if there's anything we can do for you. Perhaps we could do something in her honor with the guild as well?

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Lady Jade. My biological mother died early this year. She was also ill - but with a mental illness. It's never nice to watch someone you love and care about suffer - but then it's often hard to let them go. For me, there was a feeling of releif - no more pain, for either of us, but especially for her. Death is so finite. Life is so precious.
I'm sure ymshonesty is resting peacefully.

Oh, wow....I am so, so sorry for your loss, and also so sad to hear that we have lost mshonesty. I had noticed that she hadn't posted in some time, and wondered about her, but would never have dreamed that this was the reason.

i lost my uncle about 6 years ago, he had cancer,too.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I understand the heartache and deep despair this must bring. I am so sorry. I know nothing anyone can say will really help heal your heart but please know that everyone here is this guild (I am sure at least) empathizes for you and wishes you peace and healing. Bakura Amane Seems a lot of people have died of cancer. crying My dad did as well. sweatdrop yes, it really scared me, because just a few days after my uncle our neighbor died on it and one week later the dad of a good friend.
