EDIT: Okay, it was discovered to be a leak, and the Devs covered it up. Basically, it was a figure of Sonic in his Knight gear standing next to your avatar. I wish I screencapped it. sweatdrop

So what do we all think? Did you ever see this coming? I sure didn't. eek I also didn't think Sonic would be that short compared to a Gaian. xd
For added discussion, now that a Sonic sponsorship on Gaia is indeed a reality, what more would you like to see? It's speculated that for the (possible) next leg of this quest, we could get Caliburn (the sword). While that would rock, I personally wouldn't mind if we got more "buddies." Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze!

Looks like you were one of the lucky few to get an early look at the item. Thankfully it didn't get the "shown-too-early-so-its-never-coming-out" treatment that so many leaked items have had before it. Great find, despite most of us not seeing it til today. XP
Hoping to get Sonic myself...if I can get the trailer to load, and not resort to just buying one off the MP.
Makes you wonder though; might we expect other Sonic items to come in the future? Or heck, what about one of those sponsored worlds that we got from Kung-Fu Panda and *ugh* The Hills? Getting to roam around the Green Hill Zone would be pretty sweet. XD

I would hope so. It would rock to have Chao with our avatars, even if they leave us with just the default-looking ones. whee Or even holdable Chaos Emeralds. Or costume parts! I'm talking about having a Knuckles wig, or Rouge's ears, or Tails' tails... xp
A Virtual World of the Green Hill Zone would be AWESOME!
I was ecstatic enough with this sponsorship to do the quest over for extras. On mules even! whee If you're still having troubles with the trailer, I could spare one. smile

I'm good; as you can see from my avatar. Just took me a few tries to get Cinemas to load up (same thing happened today when going for the Master Chief helmet)...the joys of dial-up. : P
I'm thinking that this'll be the only Sonic item we have for now. It looks like sponsored items come on a 1-per-game or 2-3 per movie/TV series, since those get more releases.
...So, maybe we'll get something for that Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics game. That'd be a good excuse to have more than one item; something for both the Mario and Sonic fans out there.
