Explain in two steps:
1. You're love of doctor who with a reason.
2. How long you've watched/how many times you've seen each episode? I know you can be a huge fan and not have seen all the episodes but I'm just curious.

1. I am obsessed with Doctor Who! Doctor Who has televised what has been playing in my head for years. It shows all of the space exploration portrayed in Star Trek and Star Wars with the added pluses of not having lightsabers or phasers and it has a good-looking guy. #10 is pretty much my dream guy, so it might have something to do with my fascination with the show.
2. The first episode I ever saw was Bad Wolf, and I've been watching regularly since then. I've seen pretty much all of the Rose episodes more than once (except for Tooth and Claw) and I've seen the other new series ones at least once. As for the classic series, I've only seen some of #1, #3, #4, #5, and #6 although among the old series I definitely prefer Tom Baker.

1. Who couldn't love it? After seeing the Doctor admiring how wonderful our little blue planet is, I can't help but see it in a better light. The Doctor is a wonderful, interesting character who I am (probably unhealthily) fascinated with. Plus I completely love 10 and 5, they're so cute whee
2. I've watched every 5th Doctor episode twice except the first two, and I've watched every 10th Doctor episode twice with the exception of the later half of season 4 and the latest Christmas special because I haven't had the time yet. I've also watched a good portion of 4, a bit of 3, and some 6 and 7. I own the TV movie, and have watched it once (and re-watched the good bits). I've also seen every 9th Doctor episode once. And all of this is in the last 2 years or so.

1. I'm completely and UTTERLY 100% OBSESSED!!! It's just the modern ones though that I watch. I just love the whole concept of an alien in the form of a human who everyone knows as The Doctor who can travel through time that takes a female companion with him. And I love the storylines and the aliens. Also the fact that it's not too scary, but scary enough to make it good. I don't usually like the sci-fi genre, but this is an exeption.
2. As I said, I've only watched the modern series. The first episode I saw though was the first one with Sarah Jane and I think it was Tom Baker. But I found that pretty boring because it was in black and white. This series was being played on TV about 6 years ago I think. After that, the first episode I saw was Rose, and I started watching it every week, lovin it! I've seen series 1 and 3 once, and series 2 and 4 twice. I haven't seen The Runaway Bride (I reeeeally want to see that sometime soon) and I didn't see the whole finale of series 3 with the Master in it. I am trying to get the series 1 and 3 box sets ASAP!

The earliest 3rd Doctor stories with Liz Shaw & maybe some with Jo Grant were B&W but by Sarah Jane's time they were in color.

1. ...Obsessed since January this year; at one time to the point of creating for myself a Time Lord alter ego. All the time, my mind comes up with these really weird connections between (x) and Doctor Who. Im not really sure why. It's probably to do with the fact that you actually have to think, unlike a lot of stuff on TV where you can just point and laugh or say "lol awesome splosion." I also really love how Tennant and Simm are good-looking, but capable of looking hilariously goofy/diabolical/etc. And then there are the companions. Never did I think in my life that I could shunt my mind out of the gutter until I witnessed the Doc's relationships with them. Probably something to do with his lack of romantic interest (mostly x3), but still. DW proves a good guy can still be awesome while being on the other side of the continuum from people like Chuck Norris. ...wow, that was long. 2. I only just started with Silence in the Library and have been watching the show ever since, while getting background information from clips on youtube and here.

1. I like it because... well, I like sci-fi as a general rule, but just the idea of it really appeals to me. Time travel is awesome, aliens and alien planets are awesome, and I just love the doctors character and personality. There's just so many things I like about it I guess. I spose I couldn't really be described as being obsessed, but I'm definitely a huge fan.
2. I can't remember how many episodes I've seen, it was aired on the ABC every day at 6:30pm for about a year or so, and I watched pretty much all of the 1st - 5th doctors. But I missed a load of the 2nd doctor. I've seen a smattering of episodes from other doctors as well. I've seen all of the newer series though.

1. So my best friend Krista came for a sleep-over in the summer of 1983 and said I had to watch this show because "this guy goes through the space time continuum faster than my brother goes through toilet paper." How could I resist? I think the Doctor has appeal beyond that of say, Star Wars or Star Trek (the other things my family was always into), because he is truly the god-emperor of non-conformists. He's never had "a job," but if he did, it would be in the arts--he'd be a poet, or a painter, or a musician. He's all about freedom of expression. Star Trek, well, bless them, they're pseudo-military and wear uniforms and carry guns. And they shag anything. Star Wars, well, Princess Leia kicks a$$, but eps 1-3 are just weak. Hard to relate to anyone in those eps. Han Solo rocks, but I suspect he learned everything he needed to know about being awesome FROM the Doctor, and thought Leia was hot because she combined the delicate looks of Jo Grant and Romana 2, the class of Nyssa, and the attitude of Tegan. mrgreen 2. Lucky me, I went to college in NC when they showed all kinds of old DW eps on public TV, so I've seen at least 85% of all extant episodes, old and new, at least once.

1. I'm overly obsessive with this show... All I talk about at school is Doctor Who at school. I've turned all my friends into fans. I just love it, I mean, I've always been a sci-fi nerd but there hasn't ever been a show that met all my expectations. Then in 2005 my mom tells me a show she watched when she was little was returning. She told me about it and I'm like "Oh cooool!" I saw "Rose" the day it first aired and I fell in love with the show. All about a time travelling alien who saves the universe, who can't love it? My room is chock full of Doctor Who stuff.... It's an amazing TV show.
2. I've seen each episode of the new series at least 6 times. I've been watchin' since '05.

Kinny Fear My upcoming tattoo will prove my love: Where are you getting it? I'd like it on my left shoulder, but I think my husband might get jealous. I think it would make an awesome "tramp stamp" (base of the spine), but then I KNOW my husband would get jealous rofl . Maybe I'll just let River get it in my fan-fic wink
