[OOC NOTES: This is an Open RolePlay for the pride. <3 OOCly, it is a celebration of the pride finally becoming official after everything we've put into it, owners and members alike! ICly, it is a celebration of the Mwezi and Jua's cubs reaching adolescence and age of apprenticeship! Pride members can mingle, Moto'nyota and Serithi's children can inquire to an adult pride member about apprenticing, and the younger pride members can run a muck and listen to stories! It will last for a few days...not sure how long just yet.
Because it may turn into a large roleplay, PLEASE QUOTE THE POST YOU ARE RESPONDING TO! And just that one post! It keeps things organized, and keeps everyone from getting confused. <3]
Dogo looked over the kills that had been gathered in the middle of the grass-free area, a satisfied smirk on her face. She and the adults had gathered all this, for tonight they would feast! Her adopted siblings had become the first TRUE apprentices of the pride! Oh certainly Dogo herself was an apprentice...but not really. There had been no other Shetani'msasi to apprentice to, and so...Dogo was mostly self-taught, with help from Moto and Serithi. And her lessons from her time in Antianeira.
The leopard stretched, bones popping back into place in her spine. Tonight, she wore only her helmet, and only that to hide the mark on her forehead. Tonight was a good thing. The pride needed some celebration.

Even though Nyota assured him he would come to no harm in these lands, instincts are thicker than water. Chache was still a newcomer here and didn’t want to be mistaken for a wandering snack, especially when he spotted the leopardess standing beside her pile of kills.
No, wait, something was wrong. She could have never made all those kills on her own. The pride must have helped her, which could only mean that she too was a demon hunter. Relaxing a little bit, he cautiously approached the leopardess from the side and cleared his throat. “Pardon me, are you Miss Dogo?”((OOC note: I'm going to assume that Chache and Nyota have already met. We can do a backlog RP later, if you want.))

The leopard stretched, bones popping back into place in her spine. Tonight, she wore only her helmet, and only that to hide the mark on her forehead. Tonight was a good thing. The pride needed some celebration. The red leopon had finally reached her Apprentice age.. Not that she was sure what it meant..or what it would bring her in life..But with the celebrations preparation, she felt sure that she would excel in the subject.
Her tail flicked, the black and grey cloudy markings along her legs rippling with her muscles as she walked forward, towards Dogo, the prides resident leopard. She gavea smile, a nice fangy smile, and bounded over to her, before gazing at all the dead carcasses piled together.
It made her smile again, as the thought of food was soo thrilling in the young leopons mind. She loved food, and food loved her, as her sleek muscled shape proved. Her fire red-orange eyes glittered as she sat down beside the stretching Dogo, looking up at the orange and creme female with a confused gaze.
"Whatsall this preparation for, exactly? Like.. I understand that my siblings and I are at a new stage in our lives..But what does that mean?" She asked, peering into the leopards own orbs.[Figured Dogo would know Luta if they lived together.xDD]

Kaimel really wasn't sure why he was here. The smell of so much food had drawn him, sure, but there were so many pride members around! It made him nervous... And where was Mel? The young lion kneaded the ground anxiously, his ears flicking around as he looked for someone from his family. He was only ever comfortable around them. Mel had said he just needed to grow into his own fur... But wasn't he already grown into it?

Chache The smell of fresh meat drew the lithe serval deeper into the pride. Even though Nyota assured him he would come to no harm in these lands, instincts are thicker than water. Chache was still a newcomer here and didn’t want to be mistaken for a wandering snack, especially when he spotted the leopardess standing beside her pile of kills.

Relaxing a little bit, he cautiously approached the leopardess from the side and cleared his throat. “Pardon me, are you Miss Dogo?” ((If Truth wants to snag you for an RP with Chache, she'll definitely do so in a day or two. <3))Luta The red leopon had finally reached her Apprentice age.. Not that she was sure what it meant..or what it would bring her in life..But with the celebrations preparation, she felt sure that she would excel in the subject.

Dogo nodded to the little serval that addressed her. "That I am. You are...one of the new members?" He had to be, since Dogo did not recognize him. And Dogo knew every one of the older pride members.
She turned orange eyes to Luta as she sat beside her, something of a smile flickering onto her maw. "You and your siblings are the first true Tarajali, Luta." She chuckled, a harsh but true sound. "It is now you'll get to train in earnest for your future, and will be taken under the guiding paw of one of the older members."Kaimel Kaimel really wasn't sure why he was here. Miss Tarajia, who'd helped look after them many times, was finally big enough to start doing things! Crouching down and wiggling a bit, she pounced her brother. "Kai!" Poor Kaimel nearly jumped out of his fur when Mel pounced him, only to calm down when he saw it was his sister. He visibly relaxed and moved to snuggle her eagerly.
"Mel! Where were you?" he asked, pouting at his sister and flicking his tail absently.

"It is now you'll get to train in earnest for your future, and will be taken under the guiding paw of one of the older members." Chache smiled and bowed his head, if a bit nervously. The sight of all the other large creatures gathering around the meat set his fur on edge. He focused on Dogo, telling himself that he was welcome here and his body slowly relaxed. The last thing he wanted was to come off as distrustful or rude. After all, they would soon be fighting side by side. “Yes, I am Chache Swiftpaw. These lands are still new to me.”
He smiled at Luta and glanced at the other felines approaching the gathering. Most of them were young, though Chache only guessed at their age. “Forgive my impoliteness; I’ve never spent much time around my larger feline brothers and sisters before. In fact this is the first time I’ve settled anywhere. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Dogo.”
Chache spoke smoothly and confidently and his voice had a pleasant ring to it. For a small serval, he seemed comfortable with big words. Big cats, on the other hand, were still rather new to him. He was used to speaking with lions and leopards only from the comfort of tree branches and open fields where he could dart away to safety at a moment’s notice.
He would have asked what this gathering was all about but, unable to help but over hear Dogo's aside to her grey and red friend, he figured it out on his own. All but one part. "Pardon me, what is Tarajali?"

Buibui'sefu had arrived a little before his mother and siblings had. His mother was likely off gathering up any stragglers she could get close to, mostly because she had been looking rather forward to getting everyone together. Pride solidarity, she called it. Whatever made her happy, he supposed.
He had to admit, he was looking forward to the idea of meeting his fellow pride members. They had been fairly scattered ever since he had been young. It felt nice to know what they would finally be united and all that. Yes, a nice change. Xinavane was a lot closer to her son than he would have thought. But she was keeping a wary eye out for her two daughters, who were no doubt getting themselves in trouble somewhere. Bui was of course, getting ready to mingle. Little sly thing, always thinking towards the future.
But she wanted to get to know the other members of the pride. They already stood out in her mind as unique and strong for desiring to fight against evil, but she wanted to know them. Personally if she could. After all, they all had the same goals.
Nice to have things in common.

The moon, one of Enzi's most favorite things, was high up in the sky, glowing yellow with a strange ring of light shining around it. It lit up the pride's lands and danced on the coats of all the pride members.
Enzi, mostly skittish male as he was, instinctively followed any loud sounds. Maybe to make sure that the sounds didn't belong to anything horribly ferocious or blood-thirsty. But tonight, the sounds were of all his 'family' members gathering around a feast for celebration.
Beaming, Enzi romped over to the group that had gathered in a circle, tail lashing happily, his bonded flying overhead. There were some fairly new faces, and then there were old faces. He saw a Serval who he had barely spoken to. He was pretty new to the pride. Maybe Enzi would introduce himself? But then he saw...Dogo.
Realizing he was stumbling on like a stupid cub, Enzi slowed down and shook the growing mane from his eyes, suddenly self-conscious.
"Hey--Dogo." he said casually as he got closer, adolescent voice cracking half-way through.
Smooooth, Enzi. Make a fool of yourself in front of the coolest girl in the pride.Ahh, the night was so much better than the day. It was so much cooler and easier to fly in. Safer, too. Well, in most cases.
Nesibindi was enjoying her new life in the pride. It was an easy living, and she got to do what she loved best. It was making her a friendlier bird, too.
Well...Kind of.
Nesi swirled in the air above Enzi, surveying the surrounding area. There was a nice little gathering happening. She must've missed the memo...But did Enzi, also? Well, that kid didn't care about details much. He was too laid-back. Especially when it came to training. But she'd have him whipped into shape before he even--
"Eh?" Nesi clacked, glancing down at Enzi. Why had he gotten so stiff?
...Ohhhh, that one leopardess. Hmph. What a foolish youth Enzi was.
Gliding in one last circle, Nesibindi landed on Enzi's back and folded her wings. She nodded in greeting to those around her before continuing to watch Enzi's actions. She couldn't take her eyes off that kid for one second...

"It is now you'll get to train in earnest for your future, and will be taken under the guiding paw of one of the older members." She smiled, perking her ears with a pleased expression on her features. She flicked her tail, casting her gaze over to her brother, who was begginning to experience the male's way of growing up. His voice was cracking, making him seem awkward sometimes. She smiled, but shookher head, hoping that he didnt let it bother him too much. She understood the reason it was happening, but others could be far more cruel.
She had begun feeling her heart flutter about Dogo these days..She had no idea what it meant, because surely she did not choose another female.. But Dogo's deep throated chuckle just made Luta a bit weak in the knees.
But her gaze turned once more towards her brother, and she smiled to him. "Enzi.." She said wtih her gentle voice. She was a bit of a ruffian, the one to cause trouble or to be involved somewhere in the shenanigans.. But she did love her family..
"I dont get a hello anymore?" She teased with a smile.

"I dont get a hello anymore?" She teased with a smile. ((Xd; Going to just quote the last post regarding Dogo...<.<; ))
Dogo gave Chache a slight bow of respect. "Well then, welcome to the pride, Swiftpaw. And, to answer your question, a Tarajali is an apprentice. Once a youth reaches a certain age, the leaders deem them ready to begin training in earnest for their chosen rank. Usually, a teacher is chosen...though sometimes there is not one available. Like in my case." She rather hoped there were enough teachers for her adopted siblings...With all the adults, it shouldn't really have been a problem though...
Her orange eyes went to Enzi as he spoke up with his cracking voice. It was a bit funny, really. But she knew it would eventually settle out. Likely as deep as his father's. "Hey Enzi." She nodded to Nesi. "Keeping him out of too much trouble?"Kitsune Mistress Nyoko Poor Kaimel nearly jumped out of his fur when Mel pounced him, only to calm down when he saw it was his sister. He visibly relaxed and moved to snuggle her eagerly.
"Mel! Where were you?" he asked, pouting at his sister and flicking his tail absently. Mel giggled and nuzzled her brother back. "Right behind you, silly! I was bein' quiet though, like Mom and Dad!" Just because she was gonna be a Mlisha, didn't mean she couldn't learn to be sneaky. After all...all the better to catch up with an equally sneaky little one!
