I saw that (Yesterday, I think it was.) so how odd of you to put it up. xD
As all for an ethnicity specific cast and unknowns as I am, I also realize the difficulties in certains areas. And That if the director wants it that way it'll be that way.
I understand why people are upset.
If I gave a damn about things before they were made I might be upset too.
But I think we need to give them a chance.
Atleast we'll always have the show.

Maybe just because I'm white and don't get the whole racist thing...since I'm, y'know, not racist.
And if you're asian and want to play zuko....go become a ******** actor and be better than the white kid. Oh no. Talent apparently trumps ethnicity which was never truly stated in a land where there is no asia or europe. What ever will we do?! (yeah yeah, based on yadda yadda)
That was at the author since I'm too damn lazy to do anything. And I feel an inane debate would occur.
And through all this the black people remain silent! Dignity goes a long way. Thank you.

Yeah. I pretty much agree.
For one, I couldn't really care less about who they cast for the movie as long as they can, you know, act. I expect the movie to be a piece of crap, though, so I just don't get my hopes up about any of it.

I sympathize with their point, but calling it "discriminatory" and "racist" is an exaggeration.
I don't think they cast Jackson Rathbone and Jesse McCartney out of spite for the entire Asian community, but to be honest, I don't really watch movies and analyze them for racial equality. That's probably because I'm white, or I'm naive or something, I don't know. But this has really gotten out of hand.

Yes, race specific. But it doesn't exactly matter.
Racist? s**t, if casting white actors who can actually act instead of casting Asian actors who can't act is racist, then so be it.
And comparing it to Barack Obama is just ******** stupid.
Oh noes, a cast of white actors, call in the ******** cavalry. Because this whole thing is exactly like America's first bi-racial president.

And another random thing to add, a little triva.
I found out a few days ago that "gyatso" is actually the name given to every new reincarnation of the Dalai Lama- the head of Tibetan Buddhism.
I think thats kinda cool. ^.^

Everyone bitching...Let them do there things. The creators arnt going to let M.Night ******** it up, they created it, and M.Nights a fan so I dont think hes going to ******** it up. I mean He came to them wanting to do it, they dint go to them.

Apparently, he is a decent actor, but I'm still unsure if he fits the part. I say he's more of a "Sokka" than "Zuko". But that's just my opinion.
