Alec was bored, no...what is bored anyway? He was thirsty and in fact had gone on a dry spell with his meals. Rats, squirrels, raccoons. Everything in this forest had been caught and pretty much slimmed down to almost nothing. Val didn't like him hunting other chandra, so he didn't. He would go without blood like that for a while.
The lone chandra sat in a tree and stared out at the half moon. He would enjoy this light like he enjoyed his last sun set.

Nyx lurked in the dark shadows of trees as she hunted for a late night meal. Her nose twitched and her fangs bared as she shimmied around the tree she was near and with superb night vision espied a rabbit out late. Nyx crept closer, moving up onto a boulder to get into a better position to pounce up the unsuspecting rabbit.

Alec watched the girl move to the bunny in a interested look. It was so weird how there was another vampire here, he thought he was the only one. "Hm.." He watched, waiting for her to make the catch. It would be rude of him to scare away her pray.

Nyx was absolutely still and silent as the rabbit hopped closer searching for fresh grass with dew on them. In a blink of an eye Nyx had lashed out quickly and the rabbit was in her hands flailing in an attempt to get away til a sickening crunch sounded the end of it's life to feed another. Nyx sat next to the large rock to feast on her prey. Eating small quarry seemed a half life compared to what it would be like to eat larger prey, but she wasn't all that good at wrestling down large animals. Having been so deep in hunting and eating Nyx failed to realized anyone else was nearby...especially another vampire.

The sound of the blood flowing into Nyx's mouth and down her throat made his throat burn more. "Hmm.." She should most likely still thirsty, that bunny wasn't enough to even hold a child.
Alec quickly jumped down from the tree and started to walk away, this site was making his body hurt.

Nyx's ears shot up at the sound of something coming out of a tree and walking off. She quickly shot up and tossed the rabbit aside and stared down who it was that disturbed her pathetic excuse for a meal. A snarl sounded from deep inside her and she ran off after the creature who disturbed her and pounced.

That smell of rabbit blood quickly got closer till he realized there were quick foot steps behind. Why is that girl chasing him? He simply step aside when she was close enough to getting him and he glared at her. "What is wrong with you? I'm not some damn half backed pray like the rabbit you ate back there." He got a closer look at her. "I wouldn't say that would exactly lady like either." He commented this time with a smirk, showing off his fangs.

Nyx had landed past him as he had moved just in time to avoid her pounce. She straighten up on her feet she was standing facing him. Vivid red blood stained her snowy white pelt around her muzzle, she bared her fangs at him as well realizing his ability to avoid her was that he too was a vampire. "You still disturbed my meal," she hissed at him. "And what is it to you how ladies are to act? You don't seem much the gentleman."

Alec simply kept his smile and put his arms behind his back. "I disturbed your meal? How so?" He didn't see simply walking away as a disturbance, it seemed she just needed a reason to attack. "I live around enough ladies to know how a lady is supposed to act. I may not be a perfect gentleman but I carry enough common sense."

"Watching someone while they eat is rude," she stated plainly ignoring any of his other remarks. She too lived with a lady. Some one at least of a more noble birth than she that is and even Arundhati verbally chastised her for how she behaved and dressed. Nyx really didn't need this from a complete strange especially another vampire.

Alec laughed and looked at her, "How did you know I was watching you eat? Surely you didn't even know I was there till I jumped out the tree. Your disgusting manner of eating is very stunning for a 'lady'." He cooed and started to walk again, feeling this conversation wasn't gong anywhere but further south.

Nyx had her fists on her hips. "Well excuse me. I was hungry." She watched him start to walk off. "I'm sure your not dainty when you eat. We are vampires after all.....being blood suckers isn't a neat and tidy business."

"Listen to me then when I saw that the smell of blood is very attractive." Alec looked at Nyx and smiled. "You can make blood sucking a very neat business, Miss. I assure you of that. Whether you have tried or not is beyond me." It seemed like she hadn't tried. He lived with about 12 chandra, all of them had their own way of doing things. She had her own way of doing his, his way of eating may have gotten a few drops of blood on the floor. "Excuse me, but why does it bother you if someone watches you eat? If I didn't make a sound while walking away you wouldn't have even cared much pass the rabbit you have killed. I bet you are still thirsty. I could get you a better meal then that.." His smile sensed how excited and hungry he was, having a partner in crime would make this experience better.
